The best restaurants in Ainsdale Sefton North West

A lovely Sunday lunch for Mothers day. We've eaten here a few times before, the Sunday sharing platter is excellent, and our waiter Harry went out of his way to look after my 98 year old pescatarian mother. She thoroughly enjoyed the Sea Bass!

Excellent small cafe. Clean and comfortable. Very friendly and approachable staff. Very good food for a very reasonable price!

Just had an excellent bacon, sausage and cheese toastie (with chilli sauce); and a goats cheese, pesto, tomato and rocket focaccia. Best quality in Ainsdale! And loads of goodies on the shelves.

Attended this morning for a sausage sandwich. Great, happy, helpful staff. Qucik service and superb sausages. Enticed to buy a homemade sausage role for lunch as they looked so good. I had this for my lunch and it was so worth the wait as it was just so good. Salt and pepper, not to hit and so good. So. Much choice for all. Thanks for your amazing service.

The staff here were lovely and the place seemed clean and very welcoming for sit down diners. However, the take away I had from here last night was the worst Chinese I’ve had in a very long time. The prawn toast was ok but the spring rolls were very small. No flavour to either of them. The Char Sui pork was dry and tasteless, hardly any sauce, the egg fried rice hardly had any egg in and again just no flavour. I ordered the Barbeque ribs and they were literally the toughest thing I’ve ever eaten, it was clear they had been cooked and reheated because they were almost like plastic. I couldn’t even chew them enough to swallow. The vast majority of the food went in the bin. I really wanted to like this place as it had such good reviews and I love Chinese food, but after last night’s experience I won’t be coming again. A real waste of £40.

Wow! We were a little early for lunch menu, meaning the pastry was made but not the “house pie” no problem said the chef I can make up a smaller be ready in 15 mins!! Needless to say my father in law was very pleased The individual pie came out looking wonderful and was packed full of meat And rich thick gravy! Thank you so much for being so accommodating - we are so lucky to have such an amazing place in our village

Really nice place and food is great. Staff are really friendly as well. Once you sit down they attend to your every need would highly recommend

Hadn’t been to Dolce Vita in Ainsdale for a while but what a great Sunday lunch we had. Decor has been updated, staff are super friendly and the food was excellent. Prices very reasonable too. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in years.

Party of seven in a busy environment where excellent service and very good food and selections / the restaurant is very good and was full which says a good deal given many restaurants chasing customers after busy Christmas times

My favourite restaurant again never let us down, we went for an evening meal taking our 8 year old Grandson with us. Grandson had a meat spaghetti dish, my partner going for a chicken dish with all those excellent vegetables and potatoes that only Esperantos know how to cook. For Me it was beef stroganoff with rice, then pudding time for the three of us.

Absolutely fantastic, been going here for years and always consistent great quality food and super value for money. The staff are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Tidy and impressive little place food was served very nicely and although not big portions they were enough we will definitely go back.

Lovely decor,service and food. Definitely recommend. I love the chicken souvlaki but friends had the curry and lamb and all were happy with their choices. The music did get ramped up making it hard to chat so we did move on after eating. (Perhaps that was us getting old so we didn't mention it!) Great customer service as meal was delayed we received complimentary dips and pitta bread as a starter. Will definitely return.

Kym and team do exactly what it says on the tin. Good flavour coffee, at a decent temperature, delicious home made type cakes/traybakes. Very efficient service. No hesitation in recommending.
