Gorgeous food, staff very helpful and friendly. This was a first visit but will definitely be back !

We visited Langs six 30 for first time and I have to say not a last time. Food absolutely amazing - deserves so high recognition. Food to die for, well presented. Service amazing and owner Clare could not do more for us. Highly recommended.

Food was excellent, fantastic service thought out the meal however experience ruined at the end by having to wait for the bill and then the card machine. Husband had to ask the staff for attention who were too busy chatting behind the bar. Such a shame that the experience at the end of the meal soured the overall visit. Constructive advice to the owner is that they train the staff in end to end customer experience and the importance of good customer service to retain a valued customer. Our main waitress had it down to a tee, maybe some one to one coaching of the younger staff would improve the service.

Wonderful food as usual, great time staff so good and efficient. Difficult to find and hard to park. But now we know where it is we will be back very soon

My wife and I booked an evening meal onSunday with another couple. The food and service was top class. We were the last booking, however this did not impact on the quality of food from the kitchen or the service from Kelly, Kelli, Keli who looked after us from start to finish and didn’t mind that we were the last to leave.A fantastic experience, thanks to the team

I have been to Lang’s a few times and it’s a family favourite... Ideal for date night or dinner with parents.great atmosphere, the restaurant has a subtle golf theme which fits right into place being so close to Birkdale club.The staff are great, super friendly and polite. They want to have a chat with you which is super lovely you can tell it’s not forced. The head chef is the owner and it’s so great to see him working so hard and chatting to guests. Our food was 10/10. We had seafood linguine and white fish, we even forced ourselves to have puddings because of how great they are. Highly recommended.

My second visit a fabulous venue and food to match today I had the roast beef it was perfect and a great cheesecake to finish, a good range of wines the service is first class another visit soon.

What can I say... it was delightful from start to finish. The staff were all superb and competent. Friendly, in control and happy to help. The food was fabulous and delicious. The ambience. Music. Setting. Decor - Couldn’t fault it. Will definitely return.

My wife and I visited as the owners had relocated to Ainsdale near Southport and as we had always enjoyed the cuisine from their previous establishment. We were not disappointed.The menu whilst not extensive offers plenty of choice and they also have daily specials. The food quality we experienced was exceptional good and highly recommended. It’s moderately priced for both food and beverage too.

Visited here this evening for an impromptu meal and drinks!! Absolute faultless!! Excellent food, excellent staff and the best Pornstar Martini I've ever had!! Will 100% be coming back again soon!!

It always feels special when you walk into this restaurant. The Bar area is usually buzzing. Plush decor. Lovely restaurant. The menu is varied and caters for all.I came with my friend who is a vegetarian and she enjoyed her meal. Excellent service. Favourite starter is the Chicken Parfait. I would recommend the Creme Brullee for dessert.I will definitely be returning to Langs.

This restaurant has got it all . Deliciously cooked quality food. Excellent service . Modern elegant decor. This restaurant is one to recommend . Looking forward to dinning again.

Maybe Saturday night isn’t a good time to visit this restaurant. It was very busy and quite noisy. The quality of the food was very good, and it was nice to be able to see the chef at work. But having to wait in the bar over 45 minutes after our reservation time just to place our food order isn’t acceptable. Then another long wait to place our dessert order. All in all, despite a very nicely cooked meal, three hours in the restaurant for only two courses may mean that we won’t return. What a shame.

The bar area was extremely busy however the service was very good. We had to wait an unacceptable amount of time beyond our reserved time to be seated. Additional drinks certainly added substantially to the bill and the cynicism in me would suggest that was the restaurants intention. The restaurant area was incredibly noisy to the extent that I couldn’t hear what somebody was saying who was within very close proximity. The restaurant area was also uncomfortably hot. Food and service was ok but nothing very special at £60 a head. This was our third visit to Langs but I’m sorry to say I think it will be my last.

I visited with my daughter-in-law for Saturday lunch. The food was excellent and service was very good. There was a slight hiccup with veg - I requested no peas with fish and chips and was offered broccoli as an alternative but unfortunately mushy peas were what came. However the fish was cooked to perfection,

Arrived for our table at 7.30 and let in through the disabled access door as my wife is in a wheelchairand seated at our table very quickly and efficently, we both had chicken parfait starter and the braised lamb special, I have to say the food was excellent as was the service. Will definately visit again. I'm a grumpy sod at the best of times but the staff were so freindly and attentive l could'nt find a reason to be grumpy and left a happy but stuffed customer who will be back

I don't really want to write this review because I might have trouble getting in next year but wow, we have just had our best New Year's Eve night out ever!!

On Saturday 14th December 2.00pm I was invited to a fabulous 50th Birthday party at this restaurant, there were more than 50 guests, and it was absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere, the staff, and the food was fabulous, so fresh and cooked to perfection.

Had a fabulous experience at Langs - exceptional fine dining, plus staff that went the extra mile, this made our recent birthday celebration there a delight.

Four of us went here for an early evening meal. Beautiful decor and warm - not chilly which was a warm and welcoming surprise.

An asset to Ainsdale. We had a fabulous night there with friends from Spain who enjoy good food. The place is amazing, the service equally as good and the food is to die for. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended

Made our first visit to Langs Six 30 for lunch today, after a couple of friends had recommended it to us.

Booked for x2 couples on Sunday evening...was really temped by the roast but went for chicken stroganoff...wow I wasn’t disappointed the others had fish,.they were thoughly impressed. Service is impeccable and the decor is beautiful.

Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch cooked to perfection and by 2 lovely waitresses Megan and India smiling and helpful thank you really can recommend and the cocktails where nice as well

Four of us went on a busy Saturday night. We already knew there was no availability in the restaurant so decided to eat in the bar area. From stepping inside we were attended to with the most professional friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble and to top it all off the food was to the highest quality. A variation of dishes but all on a par with each other. A fantastic atmosphere in the bar area which added to the night and made the visit even better. We will be back.

Having had a lovely meal in the restaurant we went for the car this time & the tapas menu. Spot on service, nice selection of beers & the food was spot on, & very well presented

Third time visited now; once in Saturday night, once on mother's day and today was my third visit for the Sunday roast. I reaakg think this is excellent resturant, lives up to langs reputation of excellent and tasty food and also lovely friendly staff, especially our lovely waitress today.

My wife and I made a last minute decision to eat out on Sunday evening and rang the restaurant at 6.54pm. I asked what time last orders were taken and was told by the lady on the phone that 7.00pm was the cut off point. Given the time I assumed we would be too late but to my surprise the member of staff asked me what time I could get there for. I told her we could be there by 7.15pm at which point she went and spoke with the chef, and returned to say that they would be happy to extend the time for us if we still wished to attend. This ‘above and beyond’ approach was typical of the evening. We arrived by 7.05 pm and met the maitre d’ who was delightful. We enjoyed a fantastic meal and despite being one of only a handful of customers, we were never rushed or made to feel uncomfortable. The service was outstanding, as was the quality and presentation of the food. The restaurant and the bar area as good as anything I have been to anywhere in Merseyside, and I have been to most decent establishments in Liverpool. I have read a number of less complimentary reviews about Lang’s at Six30 on this site, and I guess each is a reflection of somebody’s experience, but I honestly have nothing negative to say. To complain that the food is expensive is a bit odd, as the menu and prices are readily available on the website. We paid £18 per head for two excellent quality courses which, in my opinion, is very fair. If you want 2 for the price of 1 microwaved meal type establishment then there are plenty out there. Langs at Six30 is a lovely venue, serving quality food. I highly recommend it and will definitely return. Finally, a word to the owner, do all you can to keep your maitre d’, Kelly, she is a real asset to your business. Thank you.

We were a party of 7, we booked at the last minute and it was our first visit.

Forgetful staff, slow service. Food was okay but bland but decent small menu. Not very bar area and what looks like brilliant outdoor space at the back - too cold for us.

Restaurant was holding a private function so we agreed to have a table in the bar area. Took ages for someone to take our drinks order and bring menus. Once ordered the food took quite a while to arrive and was nothing to right home about. We asked for the bill and when it didn't arrive I had to go to the bar on two occasions to ask for it.

Went few weeks ago with gang of friends for a celebration and we had a great night so went again with group of 4 and had equally good time. Lovely decor, good range of wines, beers and spirits. Staff friendly and food very good. Only slight downside is that it's a little expensive but suppose get what you pay for. Will definitely visit again.

As we arrived we were told we had 1.5 hours as a 40th party was booked in . After 1 hour the room was stripped and the table next to us left .

My family and I nipped in for a quick bite to eat. Restaurant was full and we chose to eat in the bar (due to the weather). Service was a little slow due to busy-ness, however, our meal was exceptional, even though we ate in the bar area. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, we look forward returning

Had a evening meal here with family. The food was amazing. The decor is lovely. Outside area to the rear is lovely. Service was attentive and professional. Great price for what we received... would recommend

Had my first visit to Langs in Ainsdale over the weekend and was very impressed. Nice interior with a large bar at the front of the restaurant. Great choice of drinks and friendly bar staff. Be warned the draught lager Furstenberg is very strong 5.3%. Seating outside at the front and also a nice back garden that even has a mini golf coarse. Good menu with some unusual dishes and also specials. All very good apart from some of the staff waiting on do tend to be a bit impatient at times! Also quite expensive!

We have had a terrific time over the long weekend and now for Sunday lunch it was time to relax, our friends took us to this place and highly recommended it for iy's food and chilled atmosphere, we were greeted nicely and shown to our table, the waiting staff were efficient and friendly, the black pudding starter I ordered was really good and we all opted for Sunday roast, the meal was served hot and with plenty of veggie's, the waiting staff could not do more for us, a really good surprise these day's, would defiantly go again, August!!

Asked for the early bird menu - my husband ordered steak. When the bill came it was double what we expected to pay. They had given us the steak (not the one on the early bird menu). When we queried the bill as we had specifically asked for the early bird menu, we asked rwhy they had served the more expensive alternative when they knew this the Manageress replied “people can change their minds”. She was extremely rude and unapologetic informing us that we had been served the most expensive item on the menu and needed to pay for it. Our bill was £80 plus pounds for 2 of us - extreme and definitely not worth the money.

Not been before and wow what a shame excellent food really good but what really makes this place is the staff they are fantastic best service thank some top Liverpool restaurants

very modern tasteful surroundings with a garden attached for those sunny days this is a special treat. We have been coming to Lang’s restaurants for years as this man knows how to deliver good food nicely presented. We have been to this restaurant twice. Once was for a family birthday with two children under 3 years of age. No problem. The second was an anniversary meal for two. Last time I had monkfish curry and this I had fillet steak with shredded brisket on top. Delicious both times. We also had starters and desserts because it would be a shame not to. Service was excellent.

Lovely meal lovely staff. Went for lunch today i had liver parfait amazing. I had the sea bass was good. Husband had the fish chips was great he said. Will defo be back worth a try everyone ..

We visited Lang’s at six 30 today, it is our 4th visit and it hasn’t disappointed. This time we visited for my mother in laws birthday and she said it wasn’t the best meal she had been to in years.

We had sushi and it was amazing. We only wanted to go for an early tea and ended up staying all night.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The general ambiance of the bar and dining areas were comfortable although the dining area was a little on the noisy side. Although the food seemed value for money, the drinks seemed a bit expensive. The one downside of the evening was the coffee as it was bordering on tasteless and consequently just not worth the money. The chocolate on the cappuccinos was exceptionally sparse which further added to the poor flavour.

Evening out with friends. Lang’s had been recommended so made a reservation for a Friday evening. Welcomed by the waiter who seated us and took our drinks order. When advised that one person in our party had a food allergy he was very helpful in suggesting an alternative. I had the pork fillet with caramelised apples, braised leeks, potato fritters and cider cream sauce. The food was delicious and the presentation was visually appealing. The only negative to this establishment is that there is no parking lot only on-street parking which can be challenging, depending on the time of day.

Just had lunch here with friends. The food was excellent!😄. The staff were friendly and helpful. The wine is a little expensive but an upgrade from the house is advisable. I had a special which was a sushi in temporal batter. They were excellent.

I visited this newly opened restaurant in February with a view to booking it for a post registry office wedding meal with my family. The experience was good so we went ahead and booked for this special occasion. However, about 2 weeks before we received a phone call to say that they will not be open on the day we booked months previously. I would rather them not have taken the booking at all than to let us down at the last minute. Totally disgusted with our treatment and I will never return.

The owner was rude and arrogant. Staff seemed very stressed and overworked. Will not be going back although I don’t imagine it will be around for long. Seems like he spent all his time, money and effort on the decor and had nothing left to invest in running a bar and restaurant properly with adequate staff management. My advice: avoid!

Had an excellent 2 course meal well presented and freshly cooked. The food was good but not the feeling they are trying to rip you off.

Wanted to go since it opened. First downside you cant park. Not good as it is on the main road. On the website it said open from 5pm on a Tuesday. We went just after 6pm and it was shut. Great

We went to Langs to celebrate my wife's birthday. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The bar is well stocked and the staff professional and welcoming. The food was delicious 6 of us all had different choices and every meal was cooked to perfection

This was our first visit. The meal was for my birthday/mothers day.

1st time here - spotted it drivng past so gave them a ring & booked in. Nice decor & open kitchen. Very welcoming staff & were quickly served drinks. Menu has a good variety. My starter - hummus & flat bread was a little on the small side but nice. Main course - I had the peppered chicken & it was very nice. At the end of service it was good to see all the kitchen staff giving every surface a real good clean.

We visited here for an evening meal and as soon as we arrived, the staff were attentive and showed us to our table straight away. I am vegetarian and I was glad to hear that they had a separate menu available. However, I was disappointed to find the choices very limited for my taste. I started with the mozarella jalapeño pepper fritters which were nicely dressed with a fresh salad and for mains I had the red pepper and tomato linguini. I couldn’t find fault with my food but it would have been good to have something a bit more creative. I recently went to Bistro 21 in Southport and really enjoyed the braised baby gem lettuce which was delicious, it was something different. At Lang’s my husband had the poached haddock fish cake which he said was really nice and followed this with the monkfish and king prawn curry which was not overwhelming given the price of £19. It had too many ingredients and would have be nicer with more fish. We ordered a lemon curd creme brûlée to share. The brûlée was nice but it didn’t need all the added ingredients of shortbread, fruit, tuile nd ice cream. Overall, the service was excellent but the food did not,live up to,our expectation.

Stopped for a drink whilst walking dog and ended up having lunch. The staff were very friendly and the tapas really good. Sat outside in the front as dogs not allowed inside. Was a good experience.

I thoroughly recommend Lang’s the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming the food is excellent.

Went for the early doors menu at 6.30 and found the restaurant almost full. Didn't seem to bother the staff who were attentive throughout the meal. None of us could fault our meal - between us we had 3 differing meals. You wonder if the early menu is a cut down version of the main but this is not true. My meal thellet of Hake was just enough bearing in mind that the price included either a starter or a dessert. I chose the Eton Mess cheescake which was beautiful. Considering the amount of people in the restaurant the service was prompt and courteous. We will visit again.

Ten days out the only booking we could make for a Saturday night was at 9.15 pm. We arrived just before 9 and the table was ready for us. From the outset the staff were delightful, friendly but efficient. The restaurant was full and the bar not far off. The noise level was colossal - I would gently suggest that at that time on a Saturday evening with everyone having a good time it could be turned off.

Visited last night and what a great experience we had. The food, service and atmosphere was spot on - just what we need around here! We’re already planning our next trip back!

We had lunch here the food was really good wine was good and the service also good afterwards we had a couple of drinks in the bar which was comfortable. Credit where credit is due we couldnt fault it. We cant wait to go back would love to see Langs famous lamb on the menu. Well done love it

we went with our Friends, for a meal on a Thursday evening. Despite being simply on time, the table was not so we were told ready yet. Asked to have a drink in the bar. No one left the building, we were then called to the table, after drinks were ordered Was it the 'sell them another drink ploy?' Don't know, but staff were polite throughout.

Came for tapas today and sat outside in the gorgeous weather.Tapas was fresh and filling definitely worth a visit and the staff very welcoming and helpful.

We have now been twice since Lang’s opened up at this new venue in Ainsdale. Both times we have eaten in the evening and we would particularly recommend the Early Doors menu before 7pm which is excellent value. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the evening and the quality of the food was excellent and beautifully presented too. On both occasions the place was buzzing and is clearly going to prove a welcome addition to the Ainsdaye eating scene. The bar area too has been refurbished with a golf theme and provided a very comfortable area for pre or post dinner drinks.

Very poor and disappointed with the Tapas, everything deep fat fried, tasteless and confusing on the plate.

We visited on Saturday evening and the place was busy. The tables are very close together which felt uncomfortable both because of the heat and the noise from the surrounding tables, also the staff had to serve plates across people instead of from behind.

Good bar area , friendly bar staff. Restaurant felt as if we were on top of each other. Staff appeared harassed which doesn’t help the atmosphere. Food was good ( just good ). Won’t rush back. But will go back. 6/10

Thank goodness the Langs have returned to the Southport area!! What a wonderful meal we have just had. This was our first visit to their new restaurant in Ainsdale and it was everything we have always experienced at the hands of Langs. The restaurant is very stylish and comfortable. It was very busy but the food was absolutely delicious! We will be returning again!

630 used to be my favourite restaurant and I was gutted when it closes so I was really excited to see that Langs had invested in the village.

The inside of this place looks great compared to a few years back, they've really done a good job on it! The atmosphere was good, people clearly having a good time. Nice drinks- and I had the best lime soda I've ever tasted! Just a couple of pointers though, not enough seating/very squashed together? It was so busy when we went and it was hard to move around! Also incredibly noisy, having to near shout to hear your mate who's stood beside you. Other than that though, nice place, good to have things like this in Ainsdale! :)

Great addition to dining in Southport. Friendly staff, stylish premises, food well presented. Crispy Beef starter especially recommended. Good selection of food and drinks. Great bar to have drink before or after meal. Will return.

My wife and I visited to try out the new restaurant which has opened where Bistro630 used to be (a hard act to follow).

Called in on quiet afternoon to try out this newly reopened bar. Very nicely redecorated bar area with varied tapas menu. Had drinks and enjoyed the experience. Staff very pleasant. Will try out food soon and report back.

Good to see a potentially good restaurant opening in Ainsdale. Food was excellent. However we founds quite a few disappointing downsides with this eatery:

Our first visit since Six 30 has opened as Langs Six 30, really pleased this local restaurant has re-opened again. Beautiful interior and lots of seating available, I had seen soup & a sandwich advertised on the facebook page as we only like something light for lunch but this offer wasn’t mentioned when we attended the restaurant. The tapas menu is limited and didn’t massively appeal with the choices available. We ordered the pepper chicken and it was fabulous beautiful creamy sauce. The two staff members serving were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help, excellent service! Can’t wait to visit again and will hopefully make it a regular occurrence if the first visit was anything to go by.

Met my friend there today for lunch, we had a lovely time Food and Service was great, needless to say I’m going again next week.
