Absolutely fantastic , thank you for great evening, everyone so friendly , food fantastic , service amazing . Nothing was too much trouble , very busy evening but we were made to feel special , not had an amazing Chinese for a while and this surpassed expectations.

Absolutely lovely food. Everything was great. Had wanted to try the restaurant for ages and wasn't disappointed. Will visit again soon

A special place for both me and my late wife, Sheila. Visited lat week with my daughter, Debbie.. and yet again had a brilliant meal. pork ribs were a delight, as was the Peking duck with pancakes. The staff are especially attentive. Would recommend the restaurant to anybody.

A friend who lives locally had a bad experience with a takeaway from Jade Gardens and was reluctant to visit your restaurant. Tonight, we came for dinner and dined in the restaurant and were blown away by the quality of both service and the food. We ordered Menu A for two, soup, selection of starters/entrées , two mains, beef and chicken along with special fried rice and even dessert of banana fritters and ice cream. With soft drinks the bill was less than £65 and we were amazed! There was SOOOOOO much food, we even had it boxed up and brought enough home for another meal! Thank YOU. Amazing experience and superb service. Highly recommend.

Got to be my new favourite Chinese service was impeccable and the staff smiley and happy. The food is quality and definitely be back we’ve been wanted to go here for a while and glad we did.

Even in my darkest hours, Jade Gardens Chinese will always be there to lift me up. Before my wife passed, we went to Jade Gardens Chinese every Thursday with our son Billy Mitchell. Billy would always bring along his friend Gareth Bobby Ferguson. A tear forms in my eye every time I think of this fine place. 10/10 IGN

Always high quality food and service - prices are creeping up but still worth a visit -just maybe not as often .. The early bird menu is great value

we visited this restraunt for the early evening banquet food was lovely as usual, the standards are always high and it is reasonably priced staff are welcoming friendly and proffesional good place to eat

We have visited here many times, and sampled many dishes and the food is consistently to a high standard. The ingredients are fresh and well cooked, and the staff are always so lovely and friendly. The salt and pepper chicken, char sui pork, chicken satay skewers, Kung Po chicken are all great dishes - I could go on!

We visited Jade Gardens for an early dinner after antique hunting south of the Mersey, all the antique centres in Liverpool having closed by 5 pm. The restaurant was already busy when we arrived and by the time we left around 8 it was full. We ordered a banquet for three (refer to their menu for a list of all the dishes) and a few glasses of the house white wine (I can't remember the grape variety). The service was exceptionally friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble. There was no problem in substituting some dishes that contained chilli because one of my friend can't eat it. If you are visiting or staying in the Southport area and want a Chinese meal I would highly recommend that you drive the few miles to Ainsdale and visit Jade Gardens.

Another visit to this great Chinese Restaurant. It runs like a well oiled clock. We had, chicken and sweetcorn soup, duck with pancakes and sweet and sour pork. The soup was hot, the duck cooked perfectly and the pork was the tenderest I have I ever had in a Chinese Restaurant. My only comment would be they were very very mean with the sweet and sour sauce, in hindsight I should have asked for more.

Driving home from Southport looking for somewhere to have dinner we nearly passed this place as it looks like it was once a pub. Inside its very clean, has great staff and the food was excellent and good value. In fact the chicken and sweetcorn soup was high on our list of best evers! Overall a pleasant enjoyable refuelling stop - if we are ever in that area again we'll be back!

We dined at this restaurant on Saturday night for the first time, despite living in Southport for a long time. We now wish we had done years ago. Really nice meal out - not long after lockdown was lifted and the restaurant was well organised and staff were still friendly and accommodating. The food was yummy and well priced, but still nice wine. Would def recommend a stop off here!

Had the £27.90 banquet which is expensive and is the cheapest on the menu, soup ok to start...then the 2nd starter...well just one spring roll and one barbecue spare rib! All the Chineses I have had then would expect at least 2 of each, spring roll was fine but maybe the only spare rib I have had that was tasteless! Duck was fine with pancakes, hoi sin sauce a little thick. Main courses sizzling steak which a little tasteless again and sweet sour chicken which was too vinegary, the portions were fine and fried rice was very nice. So to sum up below average and a little tasteless which I wouldn’t expect from a Chinese. Service was quite good...but to pay nearly £28 each for this banquet was way too much, usually with a banquet I would expect a lot better, also we thought they just guessed the price of the drinks when looking at the bill...won’t be going back I am afraid...wasn’t worth the money..plenty of other Chineses are better value and quality.

Came recently to take advantage of the early evening banquet. As always ...fantastic value. The food is delicious with plenty to choose from, whether it’s a banquet or individual menu you won’t be disappointed. Staff are attentive and friendly. The decor is bright and tasteful.

First visit and we were not disappointed. We got a basket of prawn crackers and dips. The crispy duck was delicious! Full of flavour. We ordered 2 main courses with rice and chips to share. The food is presented well, full of flavour without being overloaded with too much salt or MSG. it wasn't too greasy. Restaurant looks a bit dated outside but it's very cosy and staff give great service, they are all friendly. We'll definitely go back.

We recently ordered a take-away for our evening meal, to say the food was disappointing would be an understatement.

Excellent food and service. Its small and cosy. Sometimes we just order a takeaway and the food is no different then the meals you order in the restaurant.

We have been getting meals from here for over 20 years and it has seldom disappointed. The same lady has been at the front desk all that time and her smile muscles must be worn out. The crispy beef was excellent, lemon chicken and pork Char Sui were very good but the sweet and sour posk in batter was too dry for my liking even soaked in sauce. Anyhow overall a very good meal.

An old and dear friend of my wife's wanted to take us out for a meal and as we all like Chinese food and Mary had been before a table was booked.

Jade Gardens has been closed for refurbishment and I’ve had to order from elsewhere lately and not been impressed. You can imagine how much I was looking forward to tonight’s takeaway.

We regularly eat at this restaurant and following each meal we declare it to be the best to date. The menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced and chef Joe ensures my allergy is catered for. Julie and her staff are efficient and friendly and provide a safe, comfortable environment for couples and families alike. The restaurant also provides a take out menu and our daughter and son in law often travel from Maghull to Ainsdale (around 18 miles round trip) for “the best ever crispy fried beef” that they say is still hot enough to eat. I can’t recommend Jade Gardens highly enough.

This was an unexpected venue to me I had just been to a Caravan exhibition and found myself running on fumes from the excitement of seeing so many caravans, when I just felt like a good old Singapore Noodles you know the one with everything with egg noodles with a little taste of curry spice. WELL let me tell you it was the best I've ever had it had the biggest prawns I've had for a long while duck chicken beef and pork done just to my liking even better than M&S; takeaway meals and there good.

My wife and i visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary in February. We last visited in 2012 , and of course we remembered the delicious Chinese food and extensive menu from our previous visit and looking at what other diners were eating, there was a wonderful consistency about this place from our last visit, a warm and pleasant atmosphere throughout, of course the attentive staff team were so friendly and helpful in addition.

Excellent local Chinese restaurant with outstanding food and lovely staff. The food here is fantastic value for money for what you get. Menu looks simple at first glance but the dishes look and taste great. It’s clearly a really popular place on weekends, so the atmosphere was great too. This was a first visit but will definitely be back.

Went with hubby tonight for my birthday tea , we had the Santa special banquet , it was delicious , everything piping hot and well presented . The staff where lovely very friendly and helpful would highly reccomend and we will defo be going back

My family and I have been coming here for years and even though I have moved out of area - we still travel back regularly to the jade! It’s honestly the best Chinese food restaurant in the north west and I can’t recommend it enough! From the cosy but bright decor, to the friendly staff who can’t do enough for you to the amazing food which I always eat too much of! Salt and pepper prawns are to die for! And the veg lettuce leaf wraps are just gorgeous! They always accommodate any diet without fuss and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door! See you soon guys!

Three of us went for a pre - Xmas dinner and decided on an early meal. Arriving before 5.00 p.m. we were escorted to our pre booked table, and from the menu chose the £14.50 banquet as well as a "fish and chip " meal together with drinks. The meal, with was promptly delivered, delicious, and courses came and went in due order, with empty plates cleared as and when necessary. On departure we were escorted to the front door by the Manageress ( surprising but nevertheless welcome ) All in all a most enjoyable experience. Will we return?.... definitely!

Living just a mile away sometimes it's easy to forget what a gem we have locally as we often venture into Liverpool or Southport to eat. However we dined in the Jade last night for my wife's birthday and it was nice to note that they still serve high quality food with great service and reasonable prices. The staff are very nice and the lady owner is lovely she always has time for a chat. Thanks for a nice meal..

Went with my 18 year old meat eating son and my 80 year old veggie dad. Delicious food, the best Chinese meal I’ve had for years. Lots of highlights, wonderful prawn toast, great crispy chicken and noodles and bean sprouts. Would highly recommend. We went early midweek at 4.30 and I thought we’d be the only ones there. How wrong was I- fills up quickly. Lastly great service and staff.

My parents treated us to a lovely meal here. We always use the takeaway here as the food is beautiful. The service is excellent, the waiter taking extra time to discuss different options for me a non meat eater. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced too.

My very dear friends Jane and Paul took me to this their favourite Chinese restaurant and I have to say that it was a truly magnificent meal. On our arrival, I was very impressed at the outside of the building and even more impressed inside. It became very obvious to me that it was a family run business with the people who ran it with very high standards. The décor was very tasteful and the building had clearly been decorated very recently. Inside, everything was spotless. The tables were all set with two sets of high quality linen tablecloths which were removed after every single sitting. I was introduced to “Julie” the owner – sorry – I don’t know the correct spelling of your name. She was most welcoming and ushered us to our table. An “arrangement” had been made to get a special Rioja in for my visit which tells me a lot about the detail of care about the service provided. The attention to detail was just superb and I was made to feel very welcome indeed. My starter – aromatic crispy duck was the best I have ever tasted. We asked for a pause between our starters and our main course and nothing was too much trouble.

Yet again a great feast in this restaurant the food is top class very fresh will be back ! The salt and pepper squid is well worth a try.

We were a party of 15 and all ordered different food which arrived exceedingly quickly and for that I have given this a reasonable mark. However there was a lot left to be desired. I ordered fish in a black bean sauce which was very bland and although it had lovely crisp peppers and onions it most unlike any black bean sauce I've had elsewhere. My husband ordered sweet and sour chicken which was very tasty as was a sweet and sour fish. My daughter ordered Thai Chicken Green Curry. This was very unattractive and had far too much thickening agent making it very gloopy with very little colour interest. I can't comment on other dishes apart from sausage and chips that my grandson had. Thankfully he likes frankfurters as this is what it was , deep fried. I'm really sorry to write this report as the staff were so helpful and the service so good but unfortunately the food let it down.

Jade Garden is approx 3mile from where I live , it's just outside the lovely village of Ainsdale on the A 565. One of The best Chinese Restraunts in the Southport area . Great location although there is only on street parking , the Restraurant is well furnished to a high standard, staff are very friendly and welcoming . The menu is superb , and very well presented . I would definately recommend the Jade Garden . It really is superb .

went for a family meal with visting parents we were sat down and it took 10mins for waitress to take a drinks order not a good start when it was not even busy. after looking through the menu and asking what to recommend to eat we ordered. on arrival of the food which took along time to come the portion size was very small more like kids meals. the beef and black bean was very watery and bland rice all clumpy and the chef special of crispy shreddedchilli chicken was very hard and tasted burnt. there was no check back from the staff and they all looked in happy none of them smiled the atmosphere was bad.so we ate what we could paid and left disappointed not going back

Have been coming to jade gardens for family Do's for years now, and have always been treated with excellent hospitality. Our most recent visit was this past week. The service was swift and professional as always. Their ribs starters are juicy and sticky, just perfect. The portion sizes are also excellent value- and we are usually given fruit to eat after we have finished our meals, though I'm not sure if/what the spending threshold for this is.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is tastefully decorated. What really makes the Jade Gardens stand out, however, is the food. It's simply outstanding. It's hard to put into words the quality here - you really should try it yourself!
