Nice hotel with a garden, a cozy lounge by the fireplace, friendly staff, excellent food, clean, comfortable rooms, beautiful view from the window. A worthy getaway for a short vacation to celebrate our next wedding anniversary.

Our first visit to the cobbled corner , it won’t be our last . A really lovely atmosphere and the staff are just perfect. I had the best pea and ham soup and I have to say that this was the best pea and ham soup I have ever had.my wife had cauliflower and cheese soup which again as a fab choice . The cakes we had were really enjoyable and so well made. Finished with tea and a latte. Really enjoyed our food

What looks like a little shop from the outside holds a surprise within. A charming building with a beautiful cosy cafe at the back, a little shop with all the daily bits you may need. I had a latte and a sausage barm and I have to say it’s the best I’ve ever had, loaded with meat and very good quality. Outside is a lovely garden and on a sunny day I’d imagine it’s perfect. Who ever is running this place is doing a fantastic job and I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you 😃

We’ve been to Gibbon Bridge on several occasions over the years and it was always excellent. We couldn’t fault the staff, they were friendly and attentive. I noticed that some of the dishes have been on the menu for years. The food was lovely. The dessert menu was somewhat boring. Apple pie, sticky toffee pudding, crème brûlée etc. What I did object to was being charged almost £9 for a glass of Prosecco!! I’ve paid less in Manchester and Cheshire. A pleasant enough evening, but I don’t think we’ll go out of our way to return. We have an excellent 4 star restaurant on our doorstep, think we’ll stick to that

Interesting menu and they deliver on it. Really enjoyed dinner here and went back the next evening for a massive plate of roast lamb that was perfect after a day running on the fells. Beer is excellent oo, and the staff are very friendly. Great atmosphere.

Arrived after a long walk, and looking for somewhere to eat. Had a drink in bar but completely put off by consistent swearing (f***ing) in front of every noun by clientele in bar. No need at all, even when we moved tables, still could hear. Small girl about 6, in and out of bar, didn’t stop the foul language. Will not recommend for families or quiet drinks.
