The best restaurants in University Preston North West

Hands down the best Roast meats Hong Kong style in the north of England, the little beauty is hidden away in Preston, Lancashire. The roast is done daily and is the best tasting duck and belly pork I’ve eaten in a long time. The belly pork is so crispy that if you have any leftover and take home, should you microwave it to reheat ( oven reheating is best) it is still crispy, doesn’t go soggy like majority of belly pork from restaurants all over the uk. The duck has authentic marinade that makes it mouth watering, they serve many HK delicacies that you can try, ranging from inards to fresh vegetables… the menu is great, the place is more like a cafe and has limited seating, they are constantly full all day everyday so advance booking is recommended. You know is good food when orientals done there, I kid you not, everyone eats there…. I travel 90 minutes by car just to sample the goods…. Definitely worth the drive even if motorways close and force you to detour to get home… amazing place, run by amazing couple… so kind and generous….. this is in my top 5 places to eat within the uk… big thumbs up

We were visiting Preston for the weekend and we decided to spend our Sunday night at the Ferret. Really enjoyed it. Relaxed atmosphere with live music. Good selection of drinks and well priced. Young girl on the bar kindly ordered us a taxi We only asked if she knew a number for a local cab firm so service was spot on. I would love to visit here again but I don't live local. If I am in the area again I will be sure to come back.

Just had a kebab from here. The kebab meat was top quality, tasted home made. I have also had pizzas from here too which are equally as good. Definitely worth a visit

Amazing 'Student Bottomless Brunch'! I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with my mum. 5 star experience all round! I was treated like a VIP at The Adelphi by a lovely member of staff, Aaron. He took great attention and care throughout the afternoon. The cocktails were the best I've ever had! 😁 I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for fantastic food, outstanding service and friendly, dedicated staff! Called in at the weekend as part of a University re-union... we called in hoping to think about the good times we had in "The Ship" - the pub has changed soooooo much !! a pub that does not serve any bitter / ale ??? crikey this pub used to be well known for its real ales... the pool table had also seen better days - however, credit where credit is due - we ordered a huge pizza and it was one of the best I have ever had.... really tasty and great VFM....

the delivery didn't call me and left the food outside front of door, basically left the food on the street, unsafe and it was raining... very disappointed, it was cold and wet so ì would like to have a refund!!!!

Food late.2messages sent to tell us. Then food quality was awful. All sauces were tainted with a burnt taste and prawn balls were all batter no prawns just awful and was expensive too for 2meals and 1 appetiser.£13 more than our usual place.

Very tasty food and very large porzione

This place serves amazing food which is very authentic. My kids love it and it's their favourite restaurant by far. They have a lovely setting and mixed selection of music. Clean with toilet seats for kids and adults. Don't usually find that anywhere. Never rushed and happily take our time when ordering. Happy family restaurant.
