I buy your sandwiches from the one stop shop in the Baltic, delicious so they are, keep it up!
Honestly I would never sacrifice my life for a sandwich, but some people may call these 'sandwiches to die for'.
This is a great cafe to meet friends at a reasonable price.
If your in during the morning you can order your lunch for a set time Jo & Chris are happy to help you with you order.
Quick lunch with nice parsnip soup, sandwiches with pastrami and home made chutney, sandwich with chicken (not Pulled as in the menu and without mango salsa). The lady serving is was great, interested, helpfull and ever so sweet for our girls! We like the place!
Always go to this chippy before the matches at Anfield. Staff are great and quick at serving you. Food is great, especially the sausage, chips and curry or the fish and chips. Reasonably priced as well.
Stopped here for breakfasts. The service was amazing!! The guy was very chatty and welcoming. You can tell he really cares for his customers. I got a full breakfast and my wife got a sausage and egg roll. I asked for scrambled egg and she said this wouldn’t be a problem but she gave me fried egg. The breakfast itself was ok. Mushrooms I would’ve liked cooked longer and they were a bit chewy. Everything else was fine. My wife enjoyed her roll.
My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop into this Greggs outlet, been here before ,always had a positive experience here and so it proved on our latest visit.
A good looking Greggs outlet, interior is light and airy, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer, typical Greggs decor and furnishings and staff here are really pleasant.
We got a cheese & onion pasty ,these are absolutely delicious, so tasty, filling, just what we needed to set us up for a few hours.
We really enjoyed our visit here ,its easy to locate along Lord Street and well worth checking out if you're in the area.
Not only is this a Chinese supermarket - chaotic and well stocked - but it is a Chinese food court offering a range of fresh and flavourful Chinese staples quickly and at low prices.
From the first stall which sells a wide range of meals, including staples like sweet and sour chicken and lots of noodles, next to the dim sum stall serving siu mai, har gau and massive plates of wonton in chilli sauce, you move on to get jian bing (Chinese pancakes) then congee and bibimbap and finally to the hot pot stall with a massive choice of meats, vegetables and delicacies to put in the boiling broth - a warning medium hot is probably too spicy for most so perhaps you should ask for mild!
There is a row of slim tables and high stools at which you can sit to eat your food - mostly populated by Chinese students confirming how like the back streets of Guangzhou or Hong Knog this experience is. It's a bit addictive!
Was staying down by the docks with my daughter and stumbled on Sanskruti. What a find! This is a vegetarian and vegan restaurant but don’t be put off meat-eaters. I’m a carnivore but there was nothing missing flavour-wise from our meal. Portions were very generous, prices reasonable and service was efficient and super friendly. Love my Indian food and we have some fantastic restaurants in London but I really enjoyed our meal and will be back when I next visit Liverpool… All the food looked amazing but, for what it’s worth, we had the pappadum and chutney tray (good portion and loads of sauces), babycorn salt n pepper; aloo gobi; Paneer Malai Kofta; Pilau rice and a garlic naan…
I came here for lunch: 1 mezze and 2 plates for 19.95, which seems reasonable - until you look at the menu. If you don't want to spend 20 quid on vegetables the only options are fried chicken or fried fish. I ordered cauliflower bhajis, fried sea bass and fries. The bhajis were delicious, but from there it all went downhill rapidly.
The fish was well cooked, however pretentious accompaniments cannot make up for the fact that the fish is not fresh. I understand that I chose fish despite knowing it would not be fresh, but I only chose it because of the severe lack of options on the menu.
To exacerbate the situation, the fries really didn't taste good. The hummus that accompanied them was even worse. How can a restaurant serve fries that aren't good? I don't know, but they certainly managed it here.
In conclusion, the menu is pretentious and overpriced with very little in the way of decent, fresh ingredients. No wonder the place was almost deserted on a Thursday lunchtime.
