I recently visited Ikkayes and had an exceptional dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing, with each dish prepared to perfection. A standout was the Beef Pottitherichadhe, which was nothing short of spectacular. The beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked to the ideal level of juiciness, complemented by a blend of spices that elevated the dish to a whole new level. The richness of the flavors combined with the perfect balance of textures made it one of the best beef dishes I’ve had in a long time. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend Ikkayes for anyone looking for a memorable meal.

Best food I have had in a while. Reminded me of Kerala. Palappam and fish curry is 100% worth a try.

One of the best Indian meals I've had in the UK! Service was great, and I was recommended a different dish (Allappuzha Chicken Curry) from the one I originally ordered - which I'm very happy with because it was amazing. Good prices and size of portions!

A very good South Indian Restaurant with authentic taste that offers traditional foods and the Malabar specials. The ambience is really good. The prawns starters was absolutely good.

The restaurants was clean and lovely. The Chicken kondattam was to die for, it was so yummy. Absolutely loved it. Also, loved the khozikoden chicken dum biryani. It was too good. The chicken tikka biryani is also good. I really loved the food and flavours, authentic Indian style. Spice level they have maintained is the Indian spice level. Loved the food!

Great place to have authentic Kerala food. We tried paal kappa beef and chatty biriyani which came with kozhikodan dum biriyani, chicken 65, beef roast and chutney. As someone who is from Kerala I must say this place didn't compromise in keeping the authenticity of kerala food as-well as the quality. Highly recommended!!

I have been here twice and both times the food and staff have been wonderful. The food tastes just like being at home in kerala. The portions are also very large and filling. I highly recommend!

Some items in the menu weren’t available which was disappointing and once we ordered what was available the food took too long. The beef with the banana was lovely everything else was just mediocre. My wife is allergic to prawns and the biryani had two prawns in it. As it was fried it was very difficult to tell. Once I mentioned this to the waiter he took that item off the bill, this was a bit too late, as by this time my wife stopped eating. To be honest there are better tasting Indian restaurants in Liverpool.

It's a fairly small restaurant but it has a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is good but I think they can still do better. I am very satisfied with what they offered me.

The most authentic kerala food experience in Liverpool !!

I visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the experience. I have dined here before and had a positive experience, but this visit did not meet expectations. Firstly, there seemed to be a reservation policy, which I was unaware of. This made the experience less enjoyable. Additionally, the staff did not seem welcoming or attentive, especially the manager, which added to the dissatisfaction. Food and service should always be provided with enthusiasm, especially on a festive occasion like New Year’s Eve. It’s disappointing to say that this visit did not reflect the quality and standards I previously appreciated at this restaurant. Sadly, I don’t see myself returning in the future.

Delicious food served by beautiful people 😋. We had the fish and mango curry which was soooooooo good. The dal makhani and mushroom rice were excellent too. Our server recommended appam bread with it too, which was off-menu but a perfect accompaniment.

Sitting here for 1 hour in the morning to eat breakfast. Whatever mentioned in menu is not available . We just ordered 2 things and its almost noon. We have called and they didnt mention anything. Too much trouble when u have to pay for parking as well.

Amazing food, my family and I are completely satisfied with every dish. Every dish was authentic, with the flavours of Kerala. Highly recommend the fish mango curry and the lemon soda. Appam was also delicious. The prices are very reasonable. Overall, a must visit restaurant in Liverpool.

One of the best chicken biriyani in Liverpool.

I will not come back here again . I waited about 1 hour for two chicken biryani.this happened three times even though I informed them my 4 year child is so hungry.... The service lady told me 15 minutes for the service but got the food after 1 hour 15 minutes.... I recommend if you are hungry do not choose this place .if are ready to wait more than 45 minutes for a single biryani you can choose the place . Their priority is for online customers indine customers are fools . I was a regular customer here but this happened to me three times . The quality of the food becoming more worsen day by day .

We have been traveling to the UK for more than 3 decades and whenever we can we eat Indian food in the places we visit. Today the big surprise. I have not eaten better in any Indian restaurant in UK than here. Quality 10, authentic flavors, impeccable service. They have a team and a story behind them that you have to know. Today has been a great happy day for us for eating at this restaurant. We will return very soon without a doubt.

A Delightful Culinary Experience at Ikkayees! I recently dined at Ikkayees, and it was an absolute treat! We tried a variety of dishes, including the paalkappa, appam, fish mango curry, parotta, Aadu thoma( lamb), chicken varutharacha curry and beef coconut roast. Every dish was packed with authentic flavors, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Especially like their presentation of Aaduthoma it was outstanding. My personal favorite was the paalkappa—a must-try for anyone visiting. Its creamy texture and perfect seasoning left me wanting more! The fish mango curry was tangy and flavorful, pairing wonderfully with the soft, fluffy appam. The beef coconut roast was another standout, with its rich and spicy taste. Ikkayees truly offers a taste of authentic Indian cuisine, and I can't recommend it enough. If you're a fan of bold, traditional flavors, this place should be on your list.

Very tiny space , We just came all the way from Manchester and the staff over there just said that there’s no space so we need to go without any respect. He didn’t even say us to wait. I saw many Famous restaurant with long queues waiting even though they will not send back their customers like this. Very much disappointed and embarrassed

I like to get takeaways from here occassionally since it's literally across the road from my student accomodation. The food is great and the staff are very polite! There are plenmty of options too and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this great place if you love Indian food!

I had high expectations for Ikkayees, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The service was noticeably slow, with long waits even for basic dishes. When the food finally arrived, the portions were disappointingly small, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. For the price, the quantity and overall experience did not feel worth it. While the flavors were decent, the lack of value for money and delays in service make it hard to recommend.

We ordered Briyani and chicken kondattam both were amazing and the service was excellent they are so friendly and listening to the needs of us. Will be visiting again soon.🔥

FOOD - Mixed grill starter was a far cry from an in-house prepared, and marinated offering. Likely wholesaler frozen produce. As for the main courses (beef & chicken curries), and speaking as an Indian, were far too rich and spicy. If you want an upset stomach tomorrow, then be their guest. SERVICE - The service was a mix bag. Swiftly seated (5mins) and order taken in a further 5 mins. However, we had to ask repeatedly for water, drinks etc. The place seems to be manned solely a man in a cap, who is spread thin, responding to online orders, tending seating requests, taking table orders, bringing the food etc. ATMOSPHERE - A small place hosting 10-12 tables which naturally means high noise levels. This isn’t helped by several people queuing in the middle section, often behind your chair as well as random males gathering around the front desk playing on their phones (assuming they are the workers).
