Sanskruti Restaurant in Liverpool

I had an amazing experience at this vegetarian and vegan restaurant! The jackfruit curry was bursting with flavor, perfectly spiced and rich. The garlic naan was warm, fluffy, and had just the right amount of garlic, making it the perfect complement. The mushroom rice was a standout earthy, fragrant, and full of depth. On top of the fantastic food, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a great meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious plant-based dishes!

I love my Indian food, and this restaurant for me is the best in Liverpool. I’m not vegetarian or vegan which I know may put ppl off visiting, but every dish here is beautifully spiced and just a little different and reminds us of our holidays in Goa, minus the beach and sun of course!! Visited last Sunday lunchtime and the restaurant is always busy so we were glad to be able to get a table as we hadn’t booked. We shared some poppadoms, then the sizzling tandoori platter, which was really tasty. We then shared the malai paneer kofta curry, with rice, a daal, masala chips and a naan. Everything was delicious, there’s so many options it’s hard to choose. We have been here and had thalis before as well and they are a great choice to try a few different dishes. Service is always great, and with a bottle of wine the bill was around £70, so excellent value for £££ in the city centre and we will keep returning.

As a non-vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by Sanskruti. Every dish was packed with flavor and just the right amount of spice, staying true to authentic preparation. The service was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly, making for an overall great dining experience.

First time visiting this restaurant - amazing food and service, thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff couldn't do enough for you - they were fantastic.

This was out first visit to a Sanskruti restaurant and we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it. We booked a table as part of a weekend away for big birthday celebrations and we are sorry we live so far away. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful

Great food, lovely staff and good prices. What else does one need for a perfect Sunday evening? It was my first experience and I will be coming back.

Never grew up eating indian food, and certainly nothing close to traditional or regional so this was totally out of my wheelhouse and me and my partner wanted to really try a range if things. To start the service was 10/10. Seated really quickly, staff were totally on it, drinks were ordered and served from seating within 15 minutes. We selected the Chaat platter, then had a bread basket with 2 Paneer dished (I remember 1 was Labadar) and the cheese and garlic Dosa. Waitress was so helpful, explained the platter to us and what some of the ingredients were. The platter was ultra fresh, full of different flavours, and nice and light. The puris were so fun and textural, really fresh, and the puffed rice dish was tangy and savoury. The Paneer dishes were so nice, scooping them up with roti and naan it was savoury, rich and addictive. The star was the Dosa. Crisp, full of umami, condiment that came with it added some acid to cut through the rich potato cheese spiced filling. Portion size was really really good and we took half the meal home with us so we could save room for dessert. The 2 desserts we had were gorgeous. Totally different to anything ive had. The Indian ice cream was lovelt and refreshing and with hits of cinamon and cardamom (dont quote me on that) going through it and it wasnt too sweet! Really amazing place, definitely will be back again. Even as a meat eater i didnt feel like i missed anything during the meal.

Fantastic restaurant! Booked for our son's 30th birthday as he & his partner are Vegan and are fans of the Manchester one. Even though we are not Vegan, absolutely loved it! Chose a mix of four vegan dishes, rice & breads plus a couple of starters - awesome food, precision serving and very reasonable price. Thank you, highly recommend & we will be back 🫶🏻

Good quality food. But they never add utensils to my delivery order. never. How am I supposed to eat curry rice without a spoon. Disappointed.

First visit last night. Found the menu to be full of interesting and diverse offerings and was easily able to put together a good selection. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Food was delicious, Range of drinks also good.

Wow what a place. So glad my partner introduced be to this little gem. The food speaks for itself as well as the number of Indian diners there. Priced really fairly too! Hands down the best in the North West that I've been to. Been a couple of times now and hoping to go in the next week and very much looking forward to it. The dosa is out of this world. The dahl is incredible and all the other dishes I've tried haven't let me down either. The homemade lemonade is beautiful too. Honestly cannot fault it. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you Sanskruti - I look forward to our next visit 💚 it's one of the few places I choose to eat these days

Took the husband for our 15yr anniversary - normally luv this place, staff are all so lovely, it was really loud music for some reason, no soya tikka starter and the biggest upset no biscoff cheesecake 😟 the staff normally come out with a cake on an occasion but not this time !

Best food ,i mean you just can't top it ,great service , we love this place and hate to say anything negative and it really isn't just found the actual restaurant a little cold inside could do with being a bit warmer ,however it was january and everything else was excellent .

This is the second time we have visited Sanskruti and both times have been excellent. The menu is varied and the food is always delicious. The service is outstanding. We particularly enjoy the street food because we can try a variety of dishes.

Yet another excellent dining experience. Sometimes I wish that we could bottle Sanskruti and take it home with us. We have tried a number of different meals here and have never been disappointed. The staff are an absolute delight and always value their customers.

Food was absolutely amazing as always, excellent service! My only suggestion would be to lower the volume of the music because it was too loud and it was difficult to hear what other people were saying. Also the burning incense was irritating to the lungs and spoiled the experience, it's actually toxic to breathe and I would argue this is a health and safety issue for your staff who breathe this all day long.

The food is always wonderful here and all the staff are friendly and attentive. It was just unfortunate that on this occasion we both ordered "Chocolate Heaven" for dessert but only one appeared. We called our server who went into the kitchen to order another but by the time this appeared mine was a gloopy mess, my ice cream had half melted and the chocolate sauce had cooled to become sticky and stringy. I did ask for another portion of ice cream, which was provided at no extra charge, but the remaining dessert was ruined. However it is the first time I've ever had any issues here after many visits.

Really nice vegan / vegetarian food, service excellent

As always, the food is exemplary. We’ve been going since the opening night. But our last visit was spoiled by poor (or rather lack of) service. A very full restaurant needs more than 3 staff. After finishing our starters, we waited over 30 minutes for anyone to come to our table, and then probably nearly 10, before our mains were served. The waiting staff were really busy, it’s not their fault, it’s the owners who seemingly have parsimonious tendencies.

We have visited Sanskruti several times and always enjoyed the food. On our recent visit we really impressed by the additions you have made to your menu. Our party of 4 all picked new dishes and without exception they where very good, and reasonably priced.

Best vegetarian restaurant in Liverpool

Food was not that great. First they served me soiled food and later when asked they changed it.

All dishes were just delicious.The portion size is also good. The service was quick, good and friendly. Pav bhaji was very nice. They have good indo chinese starter options also which was yummy. 😍Loved the atmosphere as it gives out Indian vibes and can make your food as spicy as you want! If you’re an Indian you should try it!

We went to this Indian restaurant for dinner, and it was such a wonderful experience! We ordered so many dishes, and everything was absolutely amazing—especially the rotis. They were perfect, probably the best I’ve had in a long time! I also tried shrikhand for the first time, and it was so good—a delightful surprise. Everything was up to the mark, except for one dish, the Gajar (carrot) ka halwa. Unfortunately, it didn’t taste like carrot at all, which was disappointing. But honestly, the rest of the food was so superb that I can easily overlook that one misstep. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving delicious Indian food!

Booked for my husband's birthday. We enjoyed the food, poppadoms and chutneys and then thali for him and curry with peshwari naan for me. Then, as I had mentioned it in the booking, a cake with a sparkler was bought to him and happy birthday sung! It made for an evening to remember.

Outstanding vegan/veggie Indian food. Highly recommend. We went for my birthday and the waiters were so welcoming and the service was excellent. Food is exceptional there. They had overheard that it was my birthday and brought out a cake and sparklers at the end and sang happy birthday to me. Thank you so much for a lovely evening! We will be back soon x

Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant on Saturday . There were 4 of us and even the men could feel a cold draft . We did mention it and asked if the door could be kept closed but nothing changed .

Highly recommend this restaurant. Almost too difficult to make a decision as a large menu full of tasty options. We decided to select a number of the street food items and curry mains/sides and shared it so got a chance to try more. absolutely everything was delicious and full of flavour. Service was great too. Only down side was that the restaurant was a bit on the cold side.

We've been to Sanskruti on many occasions and always have we had the best time. The food is exceptional and so are the staff. They're always very accommodating and you never have to wait long for the food. It's always difficult to find good Pani Puri and vegetarian options at other Indian restaurants l, but we have always had the best experience and food here

Beautiful and well presented food with great service and plenty of choice on the menu. Suitable for any dietary type ie even if you aren’t vegan or vegetarian like me, you can still enjoy, as the food tastes great. We enjoyed the paneer dosa, cashew and pineapple korma with a platter for starters, with rice and peshwari naan as accompaniments. The rasmali dessert was wonderful - very light on the stomach and fresh. Wash this down with the masala tea - delicious!

Easy to book online. Excellent service. The vegan options are spectacular. Could not recommend the food more highly. The only downside was that although the opening hours are listed as being until 10:30, the staff opened all the doors just after 10pm. It was December and we were seated near the door so it got very cold as we were finishing our drinks. I understand that staff need to get home but it felt like we were being forced out the door at 10pm. It soured the experience. I'd definitely come back for the food. But I'd never book a table for 9pm again.

Lovely place for food, and service is great

We had a wonderful night at Sanskruti for our staff Christmas party. The food was absolutely delicious and was excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our large group. There is a great atmosphere in the restaurant. It was relaxed whilst still feeling like a special occasion and a real treat! I had the masala cashew nut dish and it was really lovely - to be honest, you could probably order anything on the menu and it would all be fantastic! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely be going again!
