I always get a takeaway from here but thought we’d eat in for a change, we wasn’t disappointed. Food and service are excellent, very friendly staff

Best Indian in Liverpool. When you've been there 35 yrs and are still serving up meals like this. You're doing something right. Well priced, amazing dishes and great staff.

We have just ordered that set meal for 4! And it was absolutely stunning! Piping hot even though we are a few miles away, we loved it and will be ordering it again! Thank you!

Friendly Staff and well prepared and tasty food. Beautiful Indian wallpaper and decorative etched glass. Steps quite difficult for those with mobility issues however.

Starters. Pakora, Bombay potato and chicken chat all really nice… make make chilli masala wow it was so so so hot! All good arrived and was still hot even the popadoms

The Passanda was terrible. The taste and consistently made it inedible. It’s a shame as we have ordered from here other times in the past. The Madras sauce was also too watery.

If you’re paying the best part of £20 for a tandoori mixed grill, you’d expect to get a whole sheikh kebab, not a sheikh kebab cut in half. The rest of it was bang average at best, but that half a kebab is just taking the mickey. Poor.

Waited 2 hours for sub par food, with minimal updates from the restaurant. Restaurant did not follow order information meaning important allergy information was missed. The food was watery and inedible. I won't be ordering from here again.

The food was excellent and the ambience made it a lovely place to eat. I particularly liked the way staff were so courteous.

We took our friend Aaron out who had recently be released from Ashworth. He really enjoyed the garlic naan. He has since been recalled. All round good experience 👍🏼

Perfect as always, friendly staff and amazing food! Had the chef special tandoori chicken Aachari, mushroom pilau, garlic naan and bindi bhaji - after the delicious popadoms and dips platter. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Always like coming here. Its our new fave indian restaurant. Curries are just the right amount of spice and lots of flavour. Staff are always pleasant and the service is always spot on. Cannot fault the place which is why we keep returning.

asked for a tandoori jalfrezi an got normal chicken jalfrezi...also asked for massala chips.....an got chips with a load of fries onions stuck on top!thats not massala chips so quite disappointing ...food was average after having high hopea for this place when its no1 on trip advisor! give a 4/10 .an waited 2 an a half hours to arrive

Seemed to be in transit for a while, popadums weren’t in the delivery as ordered but the food was delicious

2nd time ordered lamb dish and the meat was terrible,wont order again used to go to restaurant frequently, very sad standard has come to this, meat was fatty, tough.

Issue with delivery as driver couldn't find the address and my telephone number wasn't working however the food was very tasty but not very warm so had to reheat it but didn't ruin it. Will definitely order again.

What a waste of £35, I got a lamb buhna that had about 5 pieces of tough lamb, the sauce is just watery and oily and also got a fish and chips with curry sauce for my son. Chips are absolutely soggy and the fish just looks burned and does not taste nice at all. Do not waste your money there are better Indians out there with better quality food and portions for way cheaper! Wouldn’t have minded if I only spent £20 but definitely not worth the money.

New Year’s Eve madness. They took ages, and they took orders they were not able to handle. My rice was missing from the order so now I’m ruined after waiting ages. Not good . Just greed by taking orders they couldn’t handle

We had a laugh, but it was a shambles, over booked and they were taking more orders on line for take out as well, such a shame, my starter was awful and really cold, chicken chat, wife’s was nice, my main was better but I had to share it with my wife because they got her main wrong then replaced it with a cold tikka masala they did knock it off the bill overall it was a funny New Year’s Eve watching the carnage as they are going to be slated on thier reviews.

To be fair it was nye so it was absolutely rammed with people. We had booked a table but had to wait as we were a bit early. I feel they took too many online/phone orders as it was constantly ringing and i think they got overwhelmed as i heard the lady say we cant accept anymore phone or online orders anymore. We got seated but we waited a long time inbetween courses but the food was still really tasty. The staff where running round constantly...i really felt for them as it was so busy i dont think they could keep up with the demand. I do feel they took too many takeaway orders instead of concentrating on the customers inside the restaurant which was a shame.

Ordered online via Uber Eats after a recommendation. Loved everything, it was super delicious and mega large portions too!! My lamb biryani was probably the best I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended and will definitely be ordering from here again 👍🏻

Food was fantastic I ordered the light of bengal special biriyani and was full of flavour and a huge portion! Garlic naan was fresh and tasty! Would recommend the chutney tray and poppadoms! Will be returning!

My chicken Bhuna was tasteless and 95% oil.

This place made a huge impression on me. I was here for the first time and I will definitely come back. The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful. The decor, wallpapers, walls, decorations, make an amazing impression. Everything is very neat and clean. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Everyone talked to us, took care of us, I felt like one big family. Great approach to customers, it's a big plus! The food was very delicious, large portions, fresh and tasty. I ordered a dish recommended by the waiter and it was very good, spicy just as I wanted. We were very grateful for the free starter, it was a great surprise, the choice of sauces was huge and each of them was original, unique and delicious! I could sit there all day, it's a really great place. I am very pleased and I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone who likes the atmosphere and tasty food. The only thing I missed was regional music from their country, which would complement the atmosphere of the restaurant, but it is christmas time, we listened to carols, so I will not complain :) It was really wonderful!! Thank you all for this wonderful time 💜✨️

food was cold when delivered. passana was awful, naga was tough. portions are small. poppadoms were smashed into pieces. there are far better Indians with bigger portions better quality and value for money... aviod this at all costs

Delicious but expensive for delivery

My order came and 2 items were missing. Called the restaurant and they replaced the two missing dishes however they were inedible and binned, masala chips came back plain and just tasted of grease and the mushroom puri tasted undercooked. Such a shame because we’ve ate in this restaurant many of times and always been lovely but we were really disappointed with the food quality and the service this time round.

This was my usual go-to for Indian food, however the curries are now clearly watered down and very disappointing. The paneer exotica was completely tasteless and watery, more like soup with no flavour whatsoever. Won’t be going here again.

Just needed garlic on the garlic Nann as it was plain - other than that fantastic

Fabulous food. Large portions. Good price Very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Best chutney tray ever - the coconut one is delicious and never seen this anywhere else. Vegetarian meals are good here. As the photos show - dishes are not oily. They don’t all look the same and not dyed red (unlike some restaurants). Definitely worth a visit.

Portions were ridiculously small. One had 4 small/medium pieces of tofu... and sauce (quite a lot of it!). Uncooked tofu just thrown to a tub of sauce the very end. Collected 10 min after order ready and still had to wait for items being cooked.

Once the best Indian in Liverpool absolutely awful now 5 pieces of pure fat in my lamb dish and the rest was onions and peppers! what’s wrong with the delivery drive too when there’s a map shows the abide.. I will be in the restaurant and walk out without paying to get my moneys worth. Pure rip off

best curry I've had in ages, great flavours. Sides and poppadoms were great too.

Tasty as usual, especially the Kashmiri. Some of the dishes were very small, almost a third less than usual. Aloo Gobi and Chana Masala were both less than half a tub. Less than the starters. Usually great portion sizes. All tasted great though.

Food was delicious, packed with flavour, excellent quality. Arrived piping hot and early. Just wished I’d ordered more of it! I had two of the chefs recommended dishes with chicken tikka, pilau rice and plain naan.
