We thoroughly enjoyed a very tasty bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich in the sunshine. The ladies were very friendly and the food was excellent value. Highly recommended

I was meeting up with two friends from out of town that I hadn't seen in years (34 years in one case) and praying it would all go well......I needn't have worried the meals, service and atmosphere were superb and my company were well impressed. We all ordered different things and despite a larger party being booked in ahead of us the waiting time was minimal and made easier by a cracking pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord. I visit the place quite often (not as often as I'd like) and have never been disappointed. All credit to the staff, chef and couple who run it.

On the way back from delivering a second hand fridge freezer in Edinburgh we stopped off for fish and chips and refreshments. The service was good and we sold another chest freezer to a woman in the queue. It was a lovely sized portion adequate for at least a grown person and a small child. Wrapped conveniently and stong enough bag to disperse the waste. Will call again.
