On-campus restaurant/takeaway. Great choice of dishes - good value deals or full menu choice. The dishes we had were really tasty and portions were good. Many dishes not normally seen at an 'english' Chinese place. The place is no-frills with shared tables. You order at the counter and collect your food when called. It's not fancy, but a good place to eat if you're on campus.

This little family owned coffee shop has a lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. There are a great range of drinks on offer at reasonable prices. They also do a great breakfast menu and some lovely "light bite" type lunches- soups, sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. Always finish off with one of their delicious home baked cakes or a Wallings ice cream!!

We were cycling the Bay and stopped for one night. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. It has a good atmosphere and the room was great value for money. Had a lovely evening meal and the owner was very attentive, made you feel really welcome. We both enjoyed our stay 😊

Just been to this establishment with my partner got here by midday but most tables had been pre, booked which was very understandable you will see why in a min,. The table we wanted was booked for 12:45pm so the nice young lady said as long as you can eat before 12:45 pm your welcome to stay, so of course we obliged. I ordered the baked potato with beans and coleslaw, My partner had baked potato with coleslaw and cottage cheese, when the food arrived it looked and tasted absolutely amazing I had the biggest potato you ever did see with a not coleslaw but red slaw and beans 🫘 and partner had as I say cottage cheese also redslow, and both had a beautiful side of salad 🥗 dressing which was all the colours of the rainbow 🌈 really enjoyed it, by the time we had finished it was dam near 12:30 and the lady came to collect our dishes so I said to her that wasn't nice , the look of horror on her face 👀 was a gem ha ha then I promptly said it was absolutely amazing to which she said you had me going then, phew ha ha ha, surfice to say we will 100% be returning again sooner rather than later. So in the end the people who the table was booked for originally got their table so WIN WIN. Thank you for the amazing hospitality and food Julie and the team ❤️❤️❤️, Regards Joe&Donna ...

A well deserved entry in the Good Beer Guide - the six cask ales are all brewed less than half a mile away in Carnforth and the two I tried were in perfect condition. Helpful, friendly service is always a bonus and this pub oozes it. Well worth the 10 minute walk eastbound from the 🚂 station.

Perfect service, delicious food, lovely company, not overly expensive for late night snack, lots of good options for picky eaters and people who love to try out new food 100% would recommend.

A lovey setting within the railway station. Food was great and there is the bonus of a gift shop and museum within the building. If we were passing we will be back. As it’s only 2 mins off the M6. Only down side was when we arrived we stood at the counter waiting to be seated for a good 5 mins before a man came through and seated us. The only disappointment came from the girl who was making coffees directly in front of us never took us on. But had time to had with her friends. All it needed was a mention someone would be with you soon and a smile.

· Excellent location . Good size clean Quiet room, the lodge was separate from the main pub so felt very private and convenient. Good value for money. Friendly staff. Stayed 3 nights . Crook Visited lakes during the day and it was convenient to drive to Morecambe and Heysham in the evening . The church in Heysham and the sunset from the beech was spectacular. Crook O Lune near Caton was a lovely river walk.

We came here at 8.40pm on a Sunday night . Our order was taken and we were then told it was a 50 min wait for our food . We didn’t have a choice but to wait as nothing else open at this time in the area . The food is not nice at all . The egg fried rice was tasteless and dry . The chicken curry tasted like packet mix and the chicken was soggy and defiantly processed from a frozen packet . My son had chowmein and chips . Again the chicken is soggy and processed. The chips were over cooked aswell . For the prices that you charge , I would expect more flavour and decent meat not the soggy stuff that you put in your food . I would not buy from here again .

Fantastic food and great views, a good selection of dishes ranging from small plates to full meals. I had the beef flatbread which was very well cooked. A good selection of wines and beers on offer at the bar. We didn't try the deserts but they looked very nice. The decking area is definitely somewhere to enjoy a nice drink on a sunny evening.

Do Not waste your money The place is a shambles, arrived Sunday afternoon no staff anywhere, eventually a lady came no hello or how are you just a you checking in! Asked if there was a menu for 3 people to dine, Nope not serving food she said, I can most probably do something but if rather not. Bedrooms and corridors smell old and musty , breakfast is something to be seen for yourselves. Someone sits by the bar whilst you help yourself to a cold unwelcoming breakfast set up. The croissants were the same for both days, everything is individually wrapped so obviously all bought in, bread is not fresh, meats and continental cheese slices are what you buy from a supermarket. Awful
