The business is under new ownership and now just sells ice cream, rock, sweets and other novelties. We ordered ice cream and it was grainy so the children threw it away. Really disappointing.

We have dined here several times whilst on holiday in the area and always enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. This time, unfortunately, the bar and restaurant were empty when we arrived - hence no atmosphere. The duck on noodles was pretty salty - as folk who don't use salt in any cooking, or on the table, it really was far too much. The creme brulee was superb.

It's not the Ritz, but it feels brilliant. The food is excellent as is the service from the really friendly staff. It is a really relaxed and pleasant ambience.

I have visited several times previously and the food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food, while not cheap, is reasonable value for money. Two things I noticed since my last visit: All the menu prices now are in pounds, no pence shown, which is one of my pet hates. Previously we have taken two dogs, that can be noisy, inside with no issues at all. Today there was one small dog which gave a couple of barks and one of the staff came over to have a word. I feel that a better description would be dog-tolerant rather than dog friendly now.

I had an appalling experience with St Anne's Fine Foods and would strongly advise others to steer clear. We ordered a coronation chicken sandwich along with some sides, including meatball pasta. To our disbelief, they stacked all the sides onto the sandwich. Who in their right mind would do that? When we called to complain, we were met with complete indifference. To our surprise, the rude man on the phone turned out to be the owner! He claimed that’s how the order comes through from Just Eat, effectively washing his hands of any responsibility. Instead of resolving the issue, he told us to contact Just Eat to fix his menu. Seriously? A complete lack of customer service and an unwillingness to own their mistakes. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere—this place doesn’t deserve your time or money.

Overall very expensive. We ended up just getting 2 Americano coffees, £8 40 which was absolutely too expensive. The cafe doesn’t even have a toilet, they give you a key to use the pier facilities.
