The best restaurants in Amble West with Warkworth Northumberland North East

Had a great meal here, fish and chips were good and the homemade pie was great. Good portions. They had a good selection of beers and I liked the wide selection of dog treats and food. The place had a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed my visit.

Another fantastic stay here. Henry and the team are fantastic and can't do enough for you! The food is fantastic, we love the Sunday lunch here. On an evening the bar is fantastic and has a great atmosphere. Can't recommend here highly enough.

We ate at the Hermitage Inn on 2 of the 3 nights of our stay in Warkworth. The food and drink were very good, the prices reasonable, and the staff really welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend. We only had mains, but the home made Bailey's cheesecake looked amazing!

Visited the Wellwood arms today for Sunday lunch, the standard carvery was about £15 and the large around £18 which isn’t a bad price for a good carvery, was disappointed that everything that make your Sunday dinner was frozen out of a bag, aunt Bessie style Yorkshire’s, frozen roast potatoes, frozen parsnip and stuffing was undercooked and bland wouldn’t have minded if it was a cheap dinner bit for those prices I’d of expected everything home cooked and fresh. On the upside the staff were very friendly and the place was exceptionally clean, just the carvery let it down a bit

We were served drinks by a very sullen, unfriendly barman with an earring who was very grumpy and abrupt when we asked for advice on two separate occasions. We will not return to have a meal nor drinks.
