Very bad customer service- blonde guy did not listen to our ask -we asked for a few pieces of meat in shawarma and more vegetables but got a lot of chicken and less vegetables & asked to have the shawarma made after we eat lentils soup but been given all at once however we repeated ourselves 3 times when we want the shawarma, so at the end we got it very cold because of not listening to the customers Plate and spoons were dirty and very used Flies around the table Not very clean

I normally eat from this place and it’s amazing. Today the chips were cold, I asked for scraps in the notes and I didn’t get any. The fish was nice and warm.

Worst food experience. The food quantity and taste both are not worthy to spend money on. Would never recommend them.

What a gem of a place! We hadn`t been for many years and had dinner last night, April 5th, and it was excellent from the moment we walked in. We had a very warm welcome from a young man and our waitress was just lovely, I`m sorry we didn`t catch her name but she was fabulous. Food was exceptional, my husband had the rump steak and it was cooked perfectly medium rare, I had the hot shot parmo and our son had the regular parmo, both were amazing, nice chips too and very reasonably priced! The whole place is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, but the food and service are outstanding here. Look forward to returning in the next few months!

We won tickets as part of a competition. The venue is lovely inside and it got really busy while we were there. The staff were very accommodating and friendly as soon as you enter. The food and drinks are very expensive which is a shame if your were paying £20 per head just to get in. I ordered the pasta which was undercooked hard and it got sent back with no fuss for an amazing burger which they kindly took off the bill. They tried charging for sweet chilli sauce in a small pot which was ridiculous this was taken off the bill too. Drink were expensive we had a few cocktails the solero cocktail was nice but the Ask me please cocktail was awful. The show itself was good and entertaining but I was expecting a proper Queen tribute but it was still a great night and they got me up joining the show which was fun. The keyboard player was amazing! Overall It's an expensive night but good for a treat. I think we would of stayed longer or be visiting every month if the drinks and food were cheaper.

£12 for a £8.50 deal that they’ve increased! Tiniest portions I’ve ever seen! They were like kids meals! Parli was paper thin and the pizza was more like a 7”. Chips wasn’t even a handful on the London or parmo. Disappointed

Went for lunch because we have some vouchers given for a birthday. Went years ago so we were not expecting much. How wrong I was, it has new owners, the food was fantastic and so was the service. It turned out to be a fantastic meal and a great experience. Can't wait to go back.

In the 4 years that I have been visiting Mima, I can honestly say the best thing about it is the staff. Amanda, Leah and the team are always smiling, welcoming and ensure that everyone has a positive experience. The downfall recently sadly is the menu. Whilst the cafe used to serve fresh salads and quiches, they have now resorted to what every other cafe in the area seems to be doing - toasties and sandwiches. Even worse, a toastie will set you back £8.95?!? For a toastie?! Nearly £9! Over £13, I paid earlier for a toastie and coffee when I can go round the corner to Costa and get the equivalent for £5.99. It really is a shame because this used to be my favourite cafe in Middlesbrough and was the local meetup for me and my colleagues working nearby at the Court. Regrettably now though, I don't think we'll be back :(

Not the nicest surroundings but you can order on line and have the food delivered. Tried fishcakes, king prawn Phad Thai, a couple of curries and a couple of jasmine rices. Wasn’t bad at all really and excellent value for £23. Currently 20% off if you order on line. The chef is a very friendly Thai gentleman who will very happily adjust spice levels to personal taste. Great to have a good Thai takeaway/ delivery option in Middlesbrough. I was pleasantly surprised.

Beautiful food every time , great value for money with the 4 course meal . Been going here for years and converted all the family members to go here also . I won't go anywhere else :-)
