Really shocking and very poor quality! We called in as a family and tried their mixed grill and also grilled fish. All items were burned to the bone. The bread underneath the grilled was covered with charcoal. To make matters worse, when we raised the issue, they couldn't care less!!! Didn't even attempt to resolve or rectify the situation. Pretended that this is how they customers usually prefer their food!

Do not order from here. My partner ordered a shwarma for delivery, no salad due to allergies. The wrong order was sent and when my partner caller them they put the phone down, when I called I also had the phone put down on me. They also wanted me to come to the shop and collect "as they have no drivers". It they have no drivers how did the food get here in the first place? Refusing a refund and saying go through uber. They also blamed the driver for the incorrect order. I will be contacting environmental health on Tuesday regarding this place as food safety and hygiene is a serious game that they aren't taking seriously.

I have been to this place twice and both the times i ordered half roasted chicken with naan and chips . They are priced reasonably. And tastes nice .

Dirty, they have a kid bringing your naan breads over with his bare hands, same as the other staff, kid was coughing all in his hands and touching everything. Very very bad hygiene. I left the lot of my food but paid and walked out.

I've been going a while now & then food is ok & it is just ok. Went in lastweek got half chicken to takeout cost me £6.50 instead of £4.00 normal price that would pay asked him why ??? he laughed & said price gone up🙈 I will stick with shawarma shop victoria Road or even the others antalya etc which still £4.00 & dnt just hike prices up ...... so sadly I will not be going back

Great little shawarma shop great service

My friend took me her for a spot of lunch. The decor isn't the best but the food more than made up for it. The scwarma was absolutely brilliant and the whole chicken was literally brilliant. Staff were really attentive and friendly and the food was a cut above. In a dodgy back road in Middlesbrough but I'd gladly traverse it again for the food because it was a lot better than I expected. Little hidden gem worth a visit

Very expensive, quality is not good and very small portions Avoid avoid. Go to Linthorpe Road Shawarma Shop where prices are reasonable and good portion sizes

Food delicious and portions are generous, we has chicken shawarma and kofta kabab, all food comes with salad and freshly baked bread.

The food is very basic.. not spiced enough to be tasty

Really nice and reasonable prices. Tasty food with friendly staff, but make no mistake, do not take when you are offered a lentil soup because you’d think it’s for free or complimentary as you didn’t obviously order it, but it isn’t. You’d have to pay for it at the end anyways. The owner at the till was kind enough to let us off for this time but we would never want to forget that and so should you! Have fun time there!

Ordered food from here before always been good ,but tonight was terrible, we ordered through uber eats and the food was an hour late, (I know not the restaurants fault but) the food arrived cold ,there was alot of grease all over the packaging ,and the chicken was very fatty and greasy and there was only garlic on one of shwarmas and not both as requested ,actually put us off having shwarma ever again . Very disappointed as always been good in past

Although the food is not that bad but the service and staff is very rude they don't accept any request and would directly tell you not to come back as they have a lot of customers already. Staff needs to learn some ethics and respect customer

A very beautiful fantastic Dilution foods

Would never normally slate this place as it’s one of my favourite places to eat, however the service I received today was absolutely shocking! Chicken Shish was so chewy and undercooked so took back to the manager, I went and sat back down at my seat, 2 minuets later the owner came and pretty much forced the food in my face demanding it’s not undercooked and not chewy when in fact it was. I had stayed loyal to this place even after it had been previously shut down because of hygiene issues but never will I ever go here ever again!

Lovely food, will definitly order again

Ordered twice via UberEats and order was wrong both times. I ended up having to go down last weekend and again this weekend to get the missing items. I should have learned the first time. Shame because the food itself is really nice but they all stood there talking in their own language about my wrong order. Really apologetic the first time but felt they reluctantly gave the missing items this time and looked at me like I’m a thief. Like, I haven’t driven down here twice to blag a £3 Shawarma after I’ve paid for delivery and spent more money in fuel coming over! Managed to get a partial refund from UberEats after complaining but we will never order again.

Best shawarma about everything is so fresh & good quality, good choice, portions are BIG, and the prices are very affordable eat in or takeaway very clean place 5* all around

I been this place it's looks very nice from outside but there boss and staff don't know how to respect people. I ordered shawarma and extra naan. He gave me absolutely cold naan from bax when i checked in car it's was like freez. Then I go back and show him the naan and he said it is cold outside that why it's cold I said to him give me another naan I ll pay you extra.and he refused and said we made all naan bread one time and then turned off tandoor now.and all those naan sale with shawarma .and it was time only 7:30pm .i was surprised he ll serve people with all night same cold naan. Just ripping off the people.....really shame for this type of service 👎👎👎👎👎

Really good hygiene, nice food and friendly service

Nice shawarma but I wanted one all separate in a tray so it wasn't a soggy mess by the time I got home, guy just didn't understand what I was asking, it was really frustrating. Eventually he said they only do that in a large, they 'cant' do it in the normal size... Also they tried to charge me for chips one time when I didn't get chips.

Absolutely fantastic. A hidden gem. We've tried everything on the menu in the last 10 trips and basically you will be impressed with every one.

Great variety off meats to order fresh naan bread and rice. The complimentary soup is great to warm you up. It's let down by the tables not being cleaned quickly enough between customers and just wiping them with a tissue rather than using a cloth and detergent. Overall great food, would use again.

Great little shawarma joint, with nice service and a fresh salad, the breads were also great,, however they got our order wrong and the upkeep of the place left a little to be desired.

I like this place, bang in the middle of our Ethnic population, but these lads can cook.
