Had a great night out here! Fun atmosphere and good value drinks. A valuable part of the community and very welcoming.

This is a lovely cafe. A small menu but everything is first rate. The cakes are absolutely awesome. Really good coffee. The owner is really friendly and you feel very welcome. Looking forward to coming in the summer and being able to sit outside.

Very nice local bakery offering a decent range of Takeaway Only Fayre. From daily hot specials, through to traditional pies such as Steak and Stilton, or Turkey, Ham and Leek. Prices are good too. On this occasion I opted for the Steak and Stilton Pie, and it was superb!

Takeaway chicken tikka dansak very nice delivered nice and early keema pilau rice and peshwari nan bread delicious pleasant delivery driver all in all 5 star service

Worst Chinese shop ever ordered from, every time I have ordered it has sent the wrong food then refuses to give a refund.

As for flavour, WOW it was bloody lovely and brought back memories of how fish nd chips used to be. Dont expect light crispy batter or firm crispy chips because its not going to happen. This is due to the beef dripping which doesnt cook as high temp as oil. I do feel it is rather heavy on the grease so therefore chips are limp and batter is soggy but get plenty salt n vinegar on jobs a good one. You go there for the original taste of the past. Staff are great as are the prices so whats not to like. Probably best taste outside of Beamish museum with same coal fired set up

Ordered from here for the first time tonight 3 x burgers, chips and drink 1x Chicken shawarma wrap 1x combination kebab 1x Cheesy chips and a cheesy garlic bread Food arrived pretty quickly but when I took it out the bag it looked like the driver had dropped it and then ran over it, boxes where flattened cheesy chips sliding out of tray, presentation was so bad but can see it has happened on way and not how it left the shop (I hope) Missed combination kebab off our order so husband called back up to a lady apologising and saying another one is being sent out straight away for us 1 hour later it arrives by then the rest of us have ate our RTA food and now I have a grumpy husband whose kebab has only just arrived…. Missing it’s chilli sauce though! Over all looking past the missing food, the food looking like it’s been thrown about the car. The food was warm ( guessing this was because the driver was driving like a F1 racer) and food tasted nice ( just had to not look at it too much)

This place is exactly what it should be - freshly made food, a lot of it and cheep. Parmo was great, fully freshly made in front of us. Guys in the shop were brill.
