Sopranos in County Durham

This place is exactly what it should be - freshly made food, a lot of it and cheep. Parmo was great, fully freshly made in front of us. Guys in the shop were brill.

Absolutely terrible. Food was late and cold. Part of the order was missing. Remember folks, you can't cancel a just eat order if it arrives late. There's plenty of take aways out there; avoid this one like the plague

Moved to Durham a year ago, and I’ve tried lots of takeaways, and they’re all subpar - Sopranos… well this is by far the best take away pizza I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve had a lot! Can’t believe I’ve waited so long to try it. Will definitely be back

I like this place don’t get me wrong but i checked the app and it said it was open i walk down and its not open

I just got a chicken kebab paid 9.90 and only git 7 little chicken balls when phoned up and asked why there was so little was told that is how they do it terrible for what I paid

Me and a friend ordered a 14in kabab pizza and a 14in hot malt down pizza but what we got was two margarita pizzas with kabab meat on them both I won't be ordering from them again one of the worst pizzas I have ever had in usher moor

I ordered mixed kebab and pizza. Chicken was so tender garlic sauce tasty and pizza the best.

Only nice food was the chips, the pizza and others weren't that great, but were okay. Service wasn't amazing either, I'd recommend it if you really want some pizza, but it's not that great and you should just make some at home.

Sopranos is my favourite Pizza Shop . Not sure why, because every Pizza should be the same, but they make better pizzas than the others. I'll be back for sure.

never had an issue before now other than then delivery wait times, found quite a few long dark hairs in my pizza- pulled one out of my mouth absolutely disgusting

Zero stars for this place. 3 hours waiting….still no sign of food, 3 phone calls with each one saying the food would be 15-20 minutes. The person on the phone can’t refund the money either. An absolute disgrace. Stay away from this place

Reported to trading standards take money but don’t bring food 4 hours for food and to be missing and told 3 times it’s on way paid for so they are taking payment but not giving goods out robbery

Just ordered from here off Uber eats, 2 hours waiting and rang twice, the second time guy answered and said food was cancelled then hung up. have still taken the money and will not answer calls now! Pure thieves stay clear

Food was absolutely lovely and the staff were welcoming and friendly, prices are reasonable and will certainly re visit, recommend the Parma sans.

This is a pretty poor Pizza shop. There is nothing special about the pizzas or kebabs they have. From what you can see the food hygiene is questionable and dose not look like they clean much behind the counter. I won’t be going here again. It has got a 5 star food hygiene rating online but this was last done in 2019 so it’s questionable..

First time there in years went in made order safe to say they were in no rush to make my food even though it was quiet and the phone barley rang, she over charged me and refused to correct it, i did look around and was really surprised at how filthy it is, no gloves were worn while handling food, hair net- the girl that works there wore one but was pointless as it was hardly even on her head, i will not be going back even though my trip there was for someone else i also advised them of how unclean it is!

Usually impressed with this place but find the portion sizes very small and the chips werent cooked tonight when they arrived!

It was awful never try again the tomato was like outdated. The chicken wasn’t even spicy and the chips was soggy and the burger was to this doesn’t even deserve a 1 but that not possible so I give u 1never again!!!

I've waited over two hours, tried calling the shop almost one hundred times (seriously) no answer. Last time I will be ordering from them.

Ordered a large kebab meat and chips with salad, kebab meat and chips came came but no salad, meat was cold, when I rang to ask where the salad and garlic sauce was the dude got arsey on the phone and said they don’t do salad yet they quite happily charged the extra 60 pence for the salad ( I know it isn’t a lot) and the 1:20 for the garlic sauce , no offer of a refund for the items not even a sorry will never use the place again

Total disgrace 2hrs after order and no food. Called an hour after due and told 15 minutes and would be with us. Another 40 minutes, another call and it's on its way but still nothing 😡

Placed an order on the phone for collection was told 20 minutes went to collect and had no recognition of the order that I had placed was told my order would be delivered within 10 minutes 30 minutes later no order so rang them to be told 5 minutes needless to say 20 minutes later still no order and got the phone put down on me very poor customer service????

I’d had a long day working at the soup kitchen so was struggling for time to make dinner. Stopping off at the Operation Christmas Child warehouse only further delayed my cooking preparation. Because of this I had no other option but to order a takeaway. Given my busy day I wanted to be rewarded with a nice hearty meal. I ordered from Tony. What I received was a wet dough base with watery ‘chilli’ sauce on top. Every time I picked up a wet slippery slice the topping jumped off as if it was embarrassed to be associated with the base, I really don’t blame it. If I’d sent this pizza in one of my Operation Christmas Child boxes they’d have sent it back first class. Will not return.

One of the best pizza shops at Durham. Liked the pizza, burger and kebabs here. Always delivered in time hot and tasty food. Fries are always full packed even medium fries seems like large. Loved shopping here and highly recommended. Price seemed to be fair compared to other pizza shops and quality of the food.

Just finished by chicken parmasan with mushroom and garlic,chips salad and garlic sauce and it was absolutely devine! Best take away food by far. Chip were crispy and the chicken soft and tender. The crispy melted cheese around the chicken was out of this world. Well with a visitxx

Asked for a spicy hotdog with onions.. no chilli sauce, jalapenos or chillies but only mustard. Maybe they can read the order details next time. Not impressed!!! Not as ordered!

I've placed an online order tonight at 6.30pm, just a pizza and chips but it's now 8pm and I'm still waiting! When it arrived at 8.10pm it went to the wrong address (2 houses down from mine- they usually always deliver my orders to my next door neighbour?). The box of chips were all mushed up together and the pizza was cold! Really unimpressed tonight!

Very poor Covid-19 measures - staff not wearing masks, no social distancing, no apparent hand washing. Very long (30 min) delay despite ordering ahead for collection. Finally got the order home and half of it was missing. Almost impressive at managing to get so many things wrong.

Hot and spicy cheesy garlic bread is quite simply the best

Food was 2 hours late the guy on the phone apologized as he was apparently busy, food came my burger was cold burnt and the bun so dry I couldn't eat it, all of the food was stone cold some of the order was wrong also wont be ordering again.

dont bother ordering food, he only makes it when you get there anyway. Cant understand how doner wrap and salad came back as donner wrap n chips. The most unfriendly man ive ever met

Pretty poor. Despite ordering online with our details delivery driver was given wrong address, not his fault but it meant food was less then hot. In addition bottle of pop was not as ordered rather it was a cheap make, and not even a similar flavour (why even offer a choice if you cant deliver the correct type). Chilli sauce was missing despite been ordered extra to the meal deal goodbye and extra 70p, and pizza was so basic and nasty managed about 2 slices. Seriously bad service and sub par food, avoid.

Small chicken kebab in a sectional polystyrene tray - not good value for £6.50, I think!

I just ordered a vegi pizza, was really amazing and the delivery guy was really nice he didn’t even accept tip.

Mixed kebabs are truly excellent. Even my wife, who is NOT a kebab fan loved it!

It looks like just another cheap village pizza takeaway, but actually their food is really good. And cheap, and quick. Really glad they are here.

Just awful pizzas most of Ushaw Moor orders from Roma Express in New Brancepeth as it is a lot better most of the village cannot be wrong even the £1 Iceland pizzas taste better for way less money

Just got a kebab wrap and the chips were cold the kebab meat was hard must off been off last night and not straight off the skewer awful .

Pizza is not amazing, but pretty good!
