Food was not nice munchy box missing prawn toast salt and pepper chicken was disgusting next to no chicken inside what was there was stringy horrible stuff and the chips were not seasoned lot of both however rather quality then quantity will not be ordering again

We have been getting takeaways from Lucky House for over a year. Portions are always generous and really tasty, can especially recommend the Honey and Spicy and Lemon chicken. As a walk-in we often have a wait but they always seem busy so only to be expected

Food always delicious and well cooked. Spoilt for choice, but lemon chicken crispy beef and honey and spicy always really tasty. Huge portions and owner and staff lovely.

Could not get basic order right. Food was minging

Don't order and pay on line, if they can't deliver a replacement if they get it wrong you can't get a refund! Wouldn't mind but the previous 2 orders were wrong too! Sorry 3 strikes and I'm done!

I dare you to order the sweet and sour sauce. It's genuinely hilarious, I don't know what they're playing at. Especially with the chicken dippers they call chicken balls. Our usual Chinese was closed so we took a gamble. Naturally though, this is a one star review so you know what's coming. Worst mistake of my life. If I could give it zero stars I would. I spoke to other people and everyone agrees. If this meal was a dear childhood friend called James, I'd leave him at the side of the road and then drive back to run him over until he was just pink paste in a lay-by. Peace and love. RIP James

I cant select zero stars, ordered on a Wednesday night so hardly a busy day, took 1 hour 45 to arrive a 4 minute drive, came absolutely Stone cold. The curry sauce extra side arrived already congealed into a solid lump. Food rotten, service rotten.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!. Ordered from here tonight. Salt and Pepper chicken- deep fried chicken that was not fresh to order, not one bit of seasoning to be seen or tasted, no additional veg apart from soggy strand of onion. Salt and pepper chips - Again, no seasoning of any kind, strand of soggy onion on top, clearly not fresh almost like they were reheated. Just like eating cardboard. Veggie spring rolls - under cooked Cantonese King prawn with egg fried rice - King prawns were inedible, fried rice wasn't much better. Only thing that we didn't have an issue with was the bottle of coke. Got told I wouldn't get a refund unless I went down to the shop with the full order. To get there and be told " everything is expensive ", only offered me a £5 refund for a £30 order. Only 1 star review as I can't put anything lower

Always great food the past few times I've ordered from Lucky House. Good portions with plenty of meat and veg (not just filled out with onion). Delivery is almost always early (I live nearby) unless its a busy weekend. Good value, good food. Kung Po Chicken (my default meal) always has nice chicken, good spicy kick, plenty of roast cashews.

We both fancied a Chinese meal and we're so glad we chose our local Chinese Lucky House. The BBQ spare ribs had so much meat on them they were a meal on their own. The chicken balls were massive and tasty and the chicken curry and chicken in black bean sauce was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Also the delivery time was stated as 60 mins but it arrived after 30 mins (we live locally). Loved everything about it and will definitely be ordering again!

Shocking service, took almost 3 hours to deliver food where we live a 3 minute drive in Esh winning, from the shop. Excusing that, I also got food poisoning. Kicked in around 2 hours after the food and has had me ill with fever and vomiting for the past 48 hours. Would never recommend this terrible takeaway, much better competitor Asian takeaway 200 yards up the road.

This was our third time of ordering since it changed hands. Our previous orders were excellent, arriving on time and piping hot. Unfortunately this time our order was not good, the curry sauce was missing, the chips were that hard they were inedible. All in all the meal was very disappointing.

Never again will I order from here. Cut into the chicken balls and they had mold inside. Got my money back and a fresh bag of chicken balls but they went stright into the bin.

Placed order when it arrived was cold owner delivered it told me I would get a new order straight away I live 10 minutes away tool another 45 minutes when I phoned they blamed the other driver who was very nice and apologetic never again
