We ordered from here tonight and we’re putting our kids to bed so didn’t hear the door. They phoned us and promptly re delivered the food. It was still piping hot and delicious. The staff were really understanding and polite. Well done.

Don't let you kids work here part time, this company is fraudulently claiming my son has worked there since 2018 to date. They claim that he's been paid over £19k during this time. My son did 2 shifts in the beginning of 2018 which were cash in hand and hasn't worked there since. HMRC and the Police are investigating and we are aware this has happened to other young members of staff. If you have worked here previously ask HMRC for your employment schedule to check this isn't happening to you.

Lovely food and good size portions. The young girl behind the counter let things down. Walked into shop and asked straight away what I wanted before I was allowed to browse menu then she Spent most of the time playing or talking on her phone.

I regularly visit this little place for a weekend Chinese, people used to think the hygiene rating was low but it is definitely a 5 as its in the window. The chips are cheap and normally nice and crispy, i like to go for a chow mein of some description and the portion size is large and really tasty, would definitely recommend

Absolutely shocking two hours for delivery and then my husband then had to go pick it up. I can honestly say I have never had such a greasy and bland Chinese ever! Won't be returning

Food was okay. Thai curry overly sweet. Chips tasted like they were reheated from a week ago.

Just had a special curry which consisted of two shrimps and a lot of onions. Waste of money. How do these takeaways get away with it, total waste of money, never again

Very poor quality food tonight DO NOT Pay For DELIVERY almost 1 hour late and food obviously warmed up pre delivery !!!!! I hope for some response or as a regular customer will not be returning????

Good food, but never ready on time ordered told 20 mins for collection, waited another 20 mins... Ridiculous, change on website or just be honest! Not convinced it's worth that wait!

Slow and needs to be quicker with deliveries I would not recommended delivering but to collect ....

If I could leave no stars I would. We used to come here all the time, haven’t been for a good year. Decided to try it again yesterday. I rang at half 5 when it opened, got told it would be ready at 6, I arrive at the Chinese at 6.05 to 8 people already in the shop, no sign of employee at the front and wasn’t for another 10 minutes I go up and say my name and pay. And sit down. He goes into the back and doesn’t come out for another 10 minutes by this time another 3 customers come in so it’s crowded. I hear one customer has been waiting an hour. By this time I have been waiting half an hour over the time he told me to come. Another customer comes in trying to return the wrong order he received. And the employee is ignoring all phone calls. 3 other people are complaining as they have been told to come in and food wasn’t ready. It was now 7 o’clock so I had been sat in the shop for an hour. The boy finally comes back to the front so I ask how long mine will be as he told me to arrive at 6, he proceeds to tell me it’ll be ages yet. I ask for a refund and as I leave I hear 2 other customers as for a refund aswell. Never will I return. I would not mind if they told me on phone to arrive at the right time so I’m not sitting in the shop for an hour plus waiting. You have lost a customer and by the sounds of the people I was waiting with I’m not the only one.

Ordered a salt and pepper box. Sent the wrong sauce. We contacted them, explaining they sent the wrong sauce and they refused to admit they made a mistake. In the end the owner shouted at me down the phone and has blocked my number from calling. All because I tried to explain they sent a sauce I didn’t like. Poor customer service!

Fantastic Chinese takeaway- we've worked our way through most of the menu by this point and almost every dish has been really delicious. Only problem is that delivery times can fluctuate greatly, and we've had to wait around 2 hours (!!) a couple of times on busy weekend nights, which is obviously fairly frustrating when you're hungry. My personal recommendation / favorite dish is the Singapore Vermicelli special dish (rice noodles, slightly spicy, with meat and seafood in).

Best Chinese in Sedgefield and surrounding areas. Best pricing and portion ratio. Unfortunately every time you order your food online or call to place an order, you will be told your order will be ready between 30 and 45 minutes. General rule of thumb I have found is to triple that time. Do not think your food will be ready to collect for the time they have advised you to collect it for, you will be told it will be another 10 minutes yet you will sit outside the restaurant for over an hour. Four times in a row now I have been told it will be half an hour and it has been nearly two hours. I do not want free cans of Coke as compensation for sitting outside the Chinese for over an hour. Just tell me when my damn food is actually going to be ready for. I'm happy to wait for 2-hours if I know it will definitely be 2-hours not be told a lie just to keep your customers happy then to make them wait. Basic customer service skills are missing, but hey, that's expected when you're hiring foetuses to manage front of house. Curry fried rice and chips are banging FYI.

This is only the second time we have had a meal from here and both times it was absolutely amazing massive portions and food is delicious very friendly polite and helpful staff and delivery was only 25 minutes

Food is overpriced, too salty, not good to eat at all. Disregard the good reviews for this takeaway as they were for the former owners. The new owner's food is terrible.

Had Peking pork, asked for it to be extra spicy. It's tasteless battered pork balls in vaguely sweet sauce with no spice. Fried rice and chips what you would expect. Staff are friendly, though.

Been took over by new owners. I now use fishburn Chinese takeaway. Bland, boring and expensive

Salt and pepper chips were delicious.. chicken chow mein was ample there was loads and fried rice the whole meal was delicious and not to badly priced..delivery was in time stated and we had a little extra kepted for the following night...will definitely go again..
