Pizza Base in County Durham

Food arrived late. Went to complain via phone and was sworn and shouted at by recipient. Never order from this place!!!!

Absolutely shocking. I ordered from here 9 days ago. Chips came cold and the garlic bread had hair stuck out of it. We rang to tell them on a number of occasions for a refund as we did not eat the food and told them what had happened and they promised they would call me back to sort it after we rang many of times. I gave up in the end and just left it. I would never recommend this place. Absolutely disgusting place

First time ordering. Food was hot and quickly delivered. Pizzas were amazing this is going to be our go to shop now.

Beware this place has started to reduce it's portion sizes by half. Watering down sauces and I suspect re- heating food because the chips are...well you just know when chips have been re-warmed.. When you phone to complain they start talking gibberish and pretend not to understand you. It's not like it's a cheap treat anymore... it's expensive... I'm disgusted!!!!

This was the worst pizza I’ve ever eaten. The bases were soggy bread and one pizza had a horrible taste - either oil or the meat was off. None of us could eat it. I do not recommend it at all sadly.

Food was ok but the family felt it was expensive. Didn't realise you need to add notes to receive "freebies" when using just eat. Phoned to ask about it and it was sorted. Thank you. Delivery driver was very polite 😁

A friend recommended I order the chicken burger. The bun was so over toasted it was crunchy and there was a big dry chicken nugget essentially inside the bun. Oh and there was no mayo no lettuce no sauce no anything. That was a joke. The pictures I’ve attached show this. It was 3:15am and I’d not eaten all day and night and so when it had come I didn’t have the energy to call them up and ask for a replacement. I went to sleep crying. I want a response and a refund to be totally honest. I’ve told all my uni mates to avoid.

Pineapple on pizza was off tasted disgusting told them but got no apology or offer of replacement or refund

order from here allot spend allot money and never had any complaint always been very nice food but last night the food was not even eatable at all it tasted disgusting so i rang 5 min ago to complain but the person on the other end of the phone did not seem at all interested but hey u just lost a very good customer i expected at least a sorry

Ordered off their website only to receive a text (25 mins later) to tell us that there was an error with the order and it was cancelled. I phoned the shop, and the guy said it was in its way. He even had the cheek to ask for a five star review. After waiting until after the advised delivery time, I phoned again, only to be told that they didn’t have my order after all. Wasted an hour ad 20 mins, ruined an evening, don’t bother ordering off their website. Go to urban oven next door - they deliver reliably and often earlier than their advertised time.

So I like to try new pizza places when they pop up I'm a proper pizza junky! Tried this one today for tea full of hope and excitement to be sorely let down! Luke warm to start, chips were covered in some cheap nandos salt imitation that I didn't ask for and needed about another 2-3min cooking time. The pizza also like warm, and tasted cheap. I paid for extra pepperoni as an extra topping and no joke got ONE slice per slice of pizza! 😂 Close to £17 for a small pizza a medium pizza, chips and two sauces. I expected significantly better! Only reason two stars is given is the driver was really nice and I got a free bottle of coke. It really should be one star. Will not be back under any circumstances...

Can't think where people dream up their reviews from? I've just had donner meat and chips and they were good. I'll be ordering again in the future.

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE!! I was with my uncle (doom44x) and my cousin when we ordered from here,my order was a large mixed kebab and I received chopped up burger in it which was meant to be kofte kebab phoned up and the employee who answered the phone was rude and ended the call when I informed him about the mistake they had made and to add to the disappointment the rest of the food was tasteless. Disgusting.

What ever you do. Do not waste your money on buying food from this place. We spent £27 on total garbage. It wen straight in the bin.
