The best restaurants in Southwark London

So I found this through reviews, never had Vietnamese before, been to Thailand and love that so thought we would give it a go. If you walked past this place you wouldn’t give a second glance just looks like a small cafe, but think again, when we walked in after booking I thought oh dear, but the food service and family are amazing, they food was absolutely amazing with such a friendly service, drinks cheap, would love to go back and really great experience as the Americans would say, throughly enjoyed the whole evening with fresh healthy ingredients. A,asking value cant wait to go again.

Really lovely meal and great service. We love Peckham Cellars so were really excited to try our local version and it didn’t disappoint. Such fantastic food, great wine, and the staff made adjustments to the set menu for my gluten free requirements without any issue which is incredibly appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!

Solía ser local cuando Neco’s abrió por primera vez hace casi 10 años y comía allí con frecuencia con mis hijos. Ahora, cada vez que vuelvo a la zona siempre paso por aquí, ya que estos son honestos con Dios los mejores crepes que he probado - nunca decepcionado! Incluso mejor que cualquier crepé que he probado durante mi visita a Francia. Mucha selección de crepes salados y dulces para garantizar que encontrará algo que todos en la familia disfrutarán. También el propietario es muy amable!

I visited Bar OM on 29/09/2021. The customer service was outstanding, I was greeted at the entrance by a very friendly staff member, the food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. We ordered a few dishes for the table to share: grilled octopus, tiger prawns, grilled squid, chicken skewers, vegetarian spring rolls, Vietnamese baguettes, I also tried Vietnamese coffee, which is now my new favourite. The atmosphere was super relaxing, I loved how the place was decorated with lots of plants. Bar OM is situated in a very convenient location, it’s about 5 minutes walk from Peckam Rye Station. We were very lucky to get a table for six people as at about 8pm the place was full. It’s my favourite spot in Peckam and I will definitely be back.

The shop has foldable seats where you can choose to eat in. The lady said there were no bowls so it was served in a takeaway container which was fine. The broth was tasty where you can taste the shrimp paste and lemon grass. There is a sweetness to the broth which I enjoyed. I would like to try the non spicy version next time and would visit again. For anyone that would like to visit, it is a cash only place.

Mis padres y yo vinimos a cenar hace dos viernes. La comida era fantástica y nuestro servidor era amable y nos ayudó a elegir vinos que se adaptan a nuestros respectivos gustos. Pedimos varios platos y todos ellos eran geniales. (Si tiene niños pequeños con usted - o adultos ajenos - es posible que desee mantenerse alejado del chouriço en llamas. Es delicioso, pero es una llama abierta de 5 minutos en tu mesa, así que presta atención. El restaurante es precioso y tiene un gran ambiente. Fue agradable salir un poco fuera de la zona turística principal. Volvería aquí sin dudarlo.

Un super spot pas loin de Tower Bridge, un excellent fish and chips, avec une excellente qualité de produit, et un prix très sympa pour Londres. Et un accueil vraiment super sympa. Je recommande chaudement.

Servicio amable de esta comida para llevar popular, un menú extenso que incluye ofertas tradicionales de tiendas de chips más kebabs, las porciones son grandes. Sólo efectivo. La comida era decente pero no excepcional. Cerca de la estación de metro Bermondsey.

I had come across this small café when previously visiting the next door hospital recently. As I was in London for the day, I decided to give it a try for Breakfast. Unfortunately, it was a wet and rather miserable day, so the outdoor seating, although under cover, was not appealing. There were a good number of patrons, so I had to wait a while to find somewhere to sit, as indoors there are not too many seats. The staff were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable and I chose an Omelet with some baked beans as a change from the normal 'Full English'. My coffee arrived promptly, and was extremely hot, so it could wait for my food to be delivered. The food was good and tasty and very good value. However, if you are wanting a more refined breakfast offering, this is not the place. Having said that, for a plate of freshly cooked food and good coffee, there was no reason to complain. There were no issues with cleanliness either, although moving around inside when it was full was a bit of a challenge! I think that the number of customers was indicative of the overall quality of the establishment and I will certainly be back, next time I am in town.

Excellent choice of burgers/sides and (if you drink beer - 20 options!!). The staff and service are exceptional. Whilst it is served as 'fast food', flavours and portion sizing are ideal. Really enjoyed our visit, and the cheerful farewell! Looking forward to going back... guest burger for March ... you've a lot to beat after February's Jalapeno number!

There aren't enough words to describe how tasty, well presented and friendly the staff are. I have been raving about RSL for years and I teuky believe it's the freshest and tastiest Caribbean restaurant in London. Excellence all around. The curry goat in particular is marvellous.

By far our favourite Italian restaurant in London. Genuine products, fast and high quality service, great portions and guartandeed smiles. Best pizzas we tried so far (and we are Italians :) Our young daughter looks forward to our lunch there every Saturday. Especially when she’s treated with a heart shaped pizza just for her. Beautiful and delicious! While my husband always orders pizza Trentina, I tend to enjoy the weekly fish which comes from a local market and is always fresh and paired with lovely veggies. Thank you to all the Amisha staff for bringing a piece of Italy in London, we feel closer to our home!

Upon our arrival in London on Saturday evening, we dined at this chic, welcoming, and beautifully decorated restaurant. Everything was divine! A treat! Thank you!
