We had a fantastic meal tonight at Orit’s Ethiopian Restaurant. We ordered a sampler menu, with both meat and vegetarian dishes. The food was excellent, the service quick, and they were very responsive to food allergies. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back. A meal for three was around 40 pounds, extremely good value. Bathrooms were very clean as well for those who value such things.

Really disappointed. The café has recently come under new management and the quality of the coffee and pastries plus the service has really gone downhill. Hostile atmosphere from the staff. Terrible coffee (milk either burnt or lukewarm, doesn't look like they know the difference between a latte and a flat white). Out of date pastries. This used to be a great little local spot but not anymore. The new owners need to make an effort to train their staff and get on top of fresh produce deliveries (what happened to the amazing almond and chocolate croissants?).

This RACIST cafe treated my husband and I like criminals in here this morning after THEIR card machine wouldn't accept Monzo and THEY would not accept a bank transfer. The woman in there said she knew people like us would do this. And she put her hand on me! I told her not to touch me and that we were trying to find an amicable way to pay. I even asked two customers if I could transfer to them so the business did not lose out but they had international bank accounts. This cafe said they should have known better than to serve me and my husband, Black and Asian. Do not let business get away with such ignorant behaviour. Avoid them at all costs.

El lugar estaba lleno de trabajadores, que siempre es una buena señal. El servicio fue rápido y el pedido llegó rápidamente a pesar de que estaba ocupado. Gran tocino buttie y buen café. Que es no gustar.

Best flat white in London 😊 and I've tried loads! Better than the high street chains. Staff are lovely and welcoming, we go at least once a week are made to feel at home. My son loves their vanilla milkshake too and my daughter said the chicken escalope was delicious 🥰Thanks Cafe Tana

My friend wanted to try out this coffee shop because she was excited about the vegan options they offer, so a group of us went for a visit. The environment is very indie, trendy, and cozy. The staff was kind, friendly, warm, welcoming, and helpful - they all seemed super happy. All of the food was absolutely delicious as well! We ordered some toasties, brunch, coffee, and pastries and my friend commented that the almond croissant was the best he's ever had in London! My only complaint was that I got a halloween cookie and while the taste was good, the cookie itself was really dry. I highly recommend this spot and would definitely go back.

Avoid at all cost, it took me multiple tries to book this restaurant as there was quite a few of us going for my mums 70th birthday. I was constantly told to email to make a booking then no one would reply. I was looking at the menu for this Saturday only to find out it’s temporarily shut! No one bothered to get in contact and let me know it isn’t open. It has now left me looking for another venue for 5 days time to hold my mums 70th birthday. Definitely will not be returning, their customer service is shocking

We’ve been huge fans of SW16 for over 3 years now, we visit regularly and I’m a firm believer you won’t find better pasta than this in the city! The staff are absolutely wonderful - so friendly and attentive, and experts in their menu and wine list. The food is divine; you can just tell the skill and cookery that goes into every plate. The pasta is to die for and it’s what keeps us going back again and again! I love that the menu is seasonal, making use of high quality produce, and means you can always expect something different. What’s more, the setting is beautiful - I love the indoor outdoor feel and the overall aesthetic, from the interior design to the playlist. It feels so classy but also relaxed, and is the perfect spot for a date night or late night cocktail. All of this considered, we had 2 x cocktails, 2 x starters, 2 x mains, 2 x glasses of wine *and* shared a dessert for £80 total. What a steal!!! That’s utilising both their happy hour and their pasta & wine deal. For the quality, the setting, the service and just the overall ambience, it’s an absolute bargain. It feels like high end dining, but we are always surprised by the bill. We will absolutely keep coming back here as lovers of SW16 and urge anyone else who loves pasta as much as I do to pay them a visit!

Dinned there last night. Unpretentious place with warm welcome. Reasonably priced pizzas served with Italian music as background. Now, let's get to the Pizzas. Light sourdough base with lovely cheese and toppings. Cooked to perfection. You will find it difficult to find a better pizza in London. Highly recommended and worthy of full marks. P.S. - and to crown it all - because it was father's day - my pint was on the house!

I used to love this bakery back in the days. Their coffee was excellent and cakes were one the best in the city. Their St Clements cake was to die for. Over the years, I've noticed their prices were going steadily up and the quality was going down. So, I stopped going there. I visited their shop at Waterloo yesterday after work. I felt I needed some sweet treat after quite a stressful week. I took just one pecan brownie as I did not like the look of any other cakes. What a disappointment! That was everything the brownie is not about. It was dry and crumbly, with massive chunks of some very bitter chocolate. I had the impression there was a lot of cacao and chocolate was there just as a reminder what should we put in our brownies. Pecans were only lightly sprinkled on the top and I couldn't taste them at all. I thought it was out of date, so it ended in the bin, after all. For the price that seemed much higher than in many shops around, it was definitely not worth it.
