For the boule beginner or pro a great friendly accomodating team. Please book early as this is popular, piests are solid and beers cold, a pastis goes down well! 9/10

A well-kept secret in a generous outdoor space that exists just behind the National Theatre and close to the Waterloo roundabout IMAX cinema. Open for just over a year and about to launch a second site in Spittlefields, this Swedish venture (not French) has the atmosphere of a French town with lavender fields and greenery (almost). The staff here are cool, friendly and helpful, the game is cheap (£10 per person for 90 minutes) and fun, and the drinks are cold and affordable. The star of the show is Frenchman Stephan, the Professor of Boules, who tells you how to do it the Marseilles way! – A star who will joke with you, share tips and secrets, and even join your team if it is a quiet day. AND – totally unlike most of the rest of London, strangers talk to each other here, help each other out, swap advice and experience and mingle – a truly different vibe to other competitive social set ups. Recommended.

Wow, what a gem of a place, so happy I found it. From the minute I arrived, I was impressed. Special shout out to Olly, such a warm welcome, super friendly and a thoroughly nice fella. Accomodated a lane even though they were busy, fantastic hosting. Looking forward to coming back

We had a great team onsite here with some food, drinks & games. The service was really good, staff were very friendly and attentive. The only down fall was the food. It was bad but portions were small and it was pricey for what we got. I had to order some extra food for everyone as people were still hungry. I ordered some extra sharing plates and some trays on Nacho's. The nacho chips I could see being poured onto a tray with a small bit guacamole, salsa & sour cream in the middle and we were charged £31.50 per tray for this. Other than this it was a lovely evening!

We booked a semi private space for a group of 30-40 people on a Sunday. Everyone had a great time! It was the perfect, more engaging alternative to booking out a few tables at a pub. The space is kid and dog friendly too which is just what we were after. It was a covered area in case of rain, we had a couple of lanes for boules and they even helped accommodate for kids with some additional plastic balls. We pre booked some drinks and some food which helped kick off the event. The team looking after us were really proactive and accommodating, thanks especially to the team lead that day!

Really fun evening with friends. Great cocktails (good value, too) and nibbles. Only tried the macaroni cheese balls which were addictive but the food in general looked good. Friendly staff and can’t wait to go again.

Lovely spot in London for relaxed drinks and amazing Street Food - the Yard Burger and the Chicken Burrito are INCREDIBLE 🧡 Set in a really central location which is perfect as I was only visiting London for a couple of nights. I visited with friends local to the area and the venue was the perfect spot for an evening of catching up... plus with the boules courts it added a little extra to our evening. Highly recommend!

New South Bank gem! Fabulous fun venue for a birthday celebration, game was explained, simple to play and score even for a novice like me! Drinks easily ordered while we played although choosing proved a greater challenge for me as there was a fab bar, definitely recommend trying the J&B cocktail specials, I loved the Jack & Boule fizz! They had their own Siren J&B beer too. We had a relaxed lunch of burgers, burritos and quesadilla in the seating area, they were all excellent. If you’ve never dipped a burger in gravy (like me) you just have to try it, it’s crazy but delicious! There were even water bowls for the dogs too! We will be back!

We visited over the weekend with the family and the waitress Bell was very rude, I asked three times to place an order and the food was great but by the time she delivered it was cold. Last time we visited it was fantastic so it shows how much a poor waitress can ruin the experience

Came for lunch midweek and chose the festive vegetarian menu. It was brilliant value for money and every single part of it was delicious. Our waiter, Reuben was really lovely and made sure our visit was memorable for all the right reasons. The restaurant has a great vibrant buzz about it and fabulous views over the South Bank. We will definitely return.
