Best falafel in London!! And the team are super great. This is in our neighbourhood and we get them several times a week. Our family go-to!

Debemos de haber ido a las horas punta como esperamos casi 40 minutos para llegar a nuestros platos. Pedí un plato de pescado y en la descripción dice fideos gordos y ninguna mención de ser muy algo jabonosa). Una vez dicho esto, era sabrosa pero mi marido pidió picada pollo con arroz y que era muy sabrosa. Es un lugar muy pequeño y un montón de gente que viene a pedido.

All round nice place, we only had chips so can’t fairly give a review on the he food, but, everyone else’s looked amazing. And plus it’s a great name for a pub.

Stop for quick lunch, food all made by order so allows yourself enough time:)

Si estás buscando una joya escondida en Londres, Jaffa Bake House definitivamente merece una visita. Hace poco probé su tajín de albóndigas y estaba fuera de este mundo. Los sabores eran increíbles, perfectamente condimentados con el justo equilibrio de calor y dulzor con el pan. Las albóndigas en sí eran suculentas y tiernas y la salsa con calabacín, papas y garbanzos era rica y aromática con una profundidad que persistía mucho después del último bocado. Está claro que ponen mucho cuidado en su cocina, utilizando ingredientes de primera calidad y métodos tradicionales. El ambiente del lugar es cálido y acogedor con un ambiente relajado que te hace sentir como en casa. Los precios son muy razonables y el personal es muy atento. Esto es imprescindible. No puedo esperar para volver y probar más de su menú. Muy recomendable!

Jeg har alltid spis Fish & Chips i London i det siste årene, og elsker denne engelske retten. Men nå i det siste 2 årene har det blitt annerledes. Fisken er slapp og av dårlig kvalitet og helt usmakelig. Det er liksom ikke fisk i fisken lenge og bare panering som man spiser. Det skal bare sikkert at det er jo forskjell hvor man spiser den og hvor mye man betaler. Men likevel. Jeg har jo spist Fish & Chips flere ganger rundt Bayswater før og da var fisken "fabelaktig god", men ikke nå i det siste. Potene er fortsatt gode. Håper det blir bedre kvalitet på fisken etterhvert for jeg bare elsker denne typiske engelske retten.

Just wanted to say a massive THANKYOU!! Me and my family came here and were served with outstanding service!!! The gentleman who served us made everything so fun and enjoyable for us! It was my mother in laws birthday and she was delighted! She even met the chef who was lovely! Thank you for making our trip worth while and your fantastic service and wonderful food!! Everything was delicious and what we couldn’t finish was kindly put in bags for us 😊

This may not be universally popular but the food is really just ok here. Make no mistake the staff are knowledgeable and lovely- for sure the best thing here. And maybe Saturday lunch is a bad time. The trout wasn’t very fresh ( we should have sent it back). The fallow deer was accurately cooked, the bare minimum for a Michelin started restaurant I’d imagine?good range of wines possibly a few more sub £50 would be welcome. St John has its own label wines from good producers for mid £30. I wanted to like the food. We had a great time. But it wasn’t because of the food. Maybe it never should be?

Entire hotel is newly renovated. Rooms are relatively large for London and reasonably priced. You can quickly get to the city and the sights by bus or underground.

Excellent service in a busy pub with just two front of house staff working flat out, yet nothing was too much trouble. And all done with a smile and a kind word. Oh and the food was excellent too.
