Drinks and staff are fantastic. The atmosphere is also great for groups and gatherings. The menu is large enough to really cover a ton but the food is pretty below average. Can you eat it, yes. Is it good, meh! Stick to drinks and conversation when you stop here as the vibe is nice but the food is meh!

Staff were welcoming despite us turning up near closing and helpful when ordering. Great cocktails and burgers were very nice, reasonably priced and good range of vegetarian/vegan options.

This is a fun pub with a great choice of beers and very friendly bar staff. It has a wonderful beer garden, including some outside TV screens for the European championship games.

Came here twice on my family’s trip to London. Staff was great to visitors!

From the moment I walked in I was greatly with great and utter happiness. The place is very welcoming and the staff are wonderful. I had the chicken burger and its mouth watering taste that it gave me was impeccable. Also very vegan friendly as my friend I came with had many options to choose from. I would recommend anyone to come here and I’ll definitely be back here sometime soon.

This place is filled with love and acceptance. The staff are wonderful and the food is amazing. Very vegan friendly with the options I has to choose from. Would be back in a heartbeat and would recommend to anyone. Special mention to the Manager Ellis, he seems to work tirelessly and is devoted to his job and makes this place a home.

Absolutely fabulous English pub just 2 mins walk from our accommodation. Went on Sunday at 7pm. Listened to solo artist while eating our roast dinner that was more than what we expected😊 Friendly publican & especially Phuoc our server. Highly recommend

Came here for the pints, saw some great food come out- all with amazing service by the manager on duty (very chatty) and Horace.

The staff and service were very good but the food was overpriced for the portion sizes. The gnocchi in particular looked a bit pathetic on the plate - very small portion for over £15. They also charge as much for half a cauliflower as they do for the lamb dish which feels a bit unreasonable to me.

Came in as I saw a main dish on the menu outside that I liked. Ordered it at the bar but was told it was not available, that the wrong menu was in the window, & that somebody should have changed it. Was handed a new menu by the barman, When I ordered from that one I was told that the item I picked was not available! At this point, I was ready to leave but my friends now all had drinks so we stayed. My third choice was the steak bavette, it arrived cooked as ordered (med / rare) but there was no evidence of any grilling or high temperature searing, it could have almost (almost) been microwaved. The peppercorn sauce was anemic and insufficient so it couldn't save this lump of uninteresting meat. At least it wasn't chewy. Fries were nice, but that was it. Sadly a first and final visit.

Very nice environment. Customer service was very fast and staff were very friendly and helpful. Drinks were nice . I really enjoyed the big sofas with the red leather cover . Very comfortable ! The room was very spacious and i really liked the fact that they allow dogs inside the pub.

Always have a good time here for a few drinks and a burger before a Chelsea game. Would recommend.

Came by for some food before the Women’s Chelsea game couple weeks ago. Ordered a burger, burger came on a silver tray with the fries just thrown onto to it (so not in a ramekin or nicely presented) the burger was so greasy the bun fell apart in my hands. Bit disappointing for a burger that’s £16 to be served and presented like a school cafeteria tray. Staff weren’t too friendly, and the beer didn’t taste great. but there was a good atmosphere.

Very hands on as it was quite busy. But it was good to see that they had employed enough staff to cater for the crowd. Good atmosphere very vibrant pub. Pub not a plastic pub. Nice outside area too.

Food was absolutely disgusting the gravy on the bangers and mash was so salty and thick it was inedible. The mac and cheese might as well have been a coop ready meal.

Opened early, at 11:00 on a Sunday as there was a 12:30 football match. No other pubs open. Food and drink were excellent and the service was top class, even though it was very busy. Lovely court yard out the back with seats and heaters.Great atmosphere too.

Chelsea home game was on. But it was a great atmosphere with everyone being very friendly. Only pub in the area open at 11 for a 12:30 kick off. We'll done for your early start and great service all the time we were there.

Fantastic pub, with a great selection of beer. Gluten free beer options are very impressive and they’re apparently launching a gluten free fish and chips soon!!! 🤩 The menu is excellent, and very vegan friendly. Well worth a visit if you’re in town!

We tried out the pub quiz at the cock and had a great time. The staff are warm and friendly and there was a great atmosphere with the quiz going on. Will be going back.

Had a great Sunday roast, it was really tasty. Only negative was the veg had a lot of black pepper but other than that it was delicious! Pear and plum crumble was also really tasty. Nice pub, dog friendly which is great and really nice staff. We will be back... :-)

A very nice English pub! I ate the Tavern Burger, which was as good as a burger can be.

We came here a number of times whilst staying at a nearby hotel. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. The ale was well kept and the fish and chips tasted good. The soup however was cold and the hand dryer in the gents was broken every time we went there. I informed a staff member of this yet it was still broken two weeks later on our last visit. Another review from a week ago below also mentions the gents hand dryer being broken and the reply from the pub says that it is now fixed. This was not true when we went there today. It's still broken. I understand things break and maybe you need to wait for spare parts etc but at least provide hand towels so customers paying close to £7 a pint don't have to dry their hands on their own clothes.

Nice and relaxed pre- match drinking session. Staff come to your table so you don't have to queue at the bar.

The food was very disappointing, there were 6 of us eating, 5 of us had the same dish, burger and chips. Chips being an exaggeration, we had about 10 chips each and a small burger with no trimmings. Not worth the money. Have eaten here before and the food was not as good this time around.

This is a very good pub with good affordable food. The Garden is well maintained.

Pros: *Pleasant, helpful, staff. *They gave our dog treats and a bowl of water. *Tasty food. *Nice garden. *Open fire. *Comfortable seats. Cons: *Wouldn't recommend eating here if you're really hungry. The food is tasty but for the price the portions could be bigger. *Hand dryer in the gents wasn't working. Overall would recommend.

Nice cosy pub. Not cheap but neither are a lot of similar pubs in the area, but this one stood out for us because of the lovely staff. Archie (I think) was so helpful, as was the other chap with the gorgeous dog. Will definitely return.

Too expensive for Drinks and food 🙄

Went for drinks and stayed for an hour in the garden at the back. Lovely garden which would also be great in winter as it has heaters. Staff were very nice and helpful. Recommend!

Bit of a mishap over a pre-match table booking but the response from the Cock Tavern has been superb. Will certainly be returning.

I went for Sunday roast and it did not disappoint! It was so good and I struggled to finish it all. The waitress was friendly, the wine was great and the food was hot and delicious!

Nice bar, gets filled with Chelsea football fans post match days. But they wouldn't let the Madrid fans in to keep these two tribes segregated.

A fairly standard typical Young's pub, looking pretty similar to all those before. Has a small beer garden at the back which is nice but otherwise a little underwhelming.
