Delighted to be writing you 1000th review :) We had an amazing time last Saturday. Kevin was so accommodating with making delicious cocktail variations we requested! The DJ was fabulous; I cannot remember the last time I was singing and dancing to such great throwbacks. Thank you for a great night!

Couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate a big birthday. From planning the room booking and all the details with the very helpful Valentina, to superb service from Stefan, Kris and the whole team on the night... the whole thing was awesome! We all had so much fun and will be back to see you very soon. :)

All the atmosphere of see and be seen but no-one actually having that good of a time

I had the pleasure of spending an evening at this amazing establishment with the most incredible team! We had a party of 34 and a whole area for ourselves for our festive lunch. From the moment of booking, Valentina and the flatmates were really lovely and helped us through all the steps. On the day, Bernadette, Sophie and the guys at the bar were the most fun, wonderful and joyful people to be surrounded with for a day of fun! (My most sincere thank you to all of you! Hope you had a good time with us too!) The ambiance is one of (if not THE) best I’ve been to for a big gathering. I will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! Thank you all for a wonderful end of 2024 party 🎄🥳

We had our work Christmas party in 'The Kitchen' at The Little Blue Door and had a brilliant time! Valentina had been our contact before the event, and was so helpful in replying to all my queries and individual preferences very promptly - and importantly everything was perfectly in place on the night! The Kitchen was a great space, having the private hire meant precious party time was not wasted in long bar queues, and the food came staggered as requested meaning it was always hot (and delicious!) to eat. I had been a bit worried about the minimum spend, but the combination of the fab atmosphere and drinks meant those worries were totally unfounded as the team celebrated all evening long!

Honestly incredible service. The staff sat us in a private room for a brunch and was so accommodating and checked on us pretty much every 15mins. Even offered us shots on the house. Lovely experience overall!

We had our goodbye party at the little blue door. It was simply perfect and wonderful! Valentina was brilliant and all the girls at the venue Melody and Bernadette. The best event ever. The atmosphere, the service and delicious food. I would love to add even more than 5 stars!!

Incredible atmosphere, almost felt like I was at a friend's house. I particularly liked the decorations and the overall interior design. A special mention to the games room with a pool table together with Nintendo 64 and Mario Kart ready to play! Wide selection of cocktails.

Sophie is the best service we have ever had. She handled everything perfectly amd made my birthday really special. Ask her for unfrequent request and last minutes adds and knew how to manage it all. Definetly the best ever.❤️

Parecía que el personal hizo todo lo posible para ser incómodo. He estado en este bar un par de veces antes y he recibido un buen trato, así que podría ser un problema de personal. Hice una reserva para dos. Elegí este bar en particular debido al ambiente acogedor y asientos. Cuando llegué, el bar estaba bastante vacío, con solo uno de sus sofás ocupado. Una de las anfitrionas me dirigió a la única mesa y sillas de la zona. Así que pedí sentarme en uno de los otros asientos más acogedores. Me dijeron que no podía porque estaba "especialmente reservado". Así que pedí sentarme en el otro sofá para dos, que no tenía una mesa de centro. Con un poco de deliberación de los anfitriones y tener que consultar con la dirección, dijeron que podía sentarme allí, pero como no había mesa, tendríamos que mantener nuestras bebidas toda la noche. Le pregunté si podíamos usar la mesa auxiliar grande al lado del sofá, pero me dijeron que no, ya que más tarde iba a ser utilizado por el DJ. Entonces pregunté si podíamos usar los bordes de la mesa auxiliar al otro lado de nosotros, ocupada por una maceta. Estuvieron de acuerdo. Acomodándonos en nuestro espacio, el gerente nos preguntó si estábamos seguros de que no íbamos a usar la primera mesa de comedor y sillas ofrecidas. Pensé que se ofrecía a mover la mesa para que pudiéramos usarla en nuestra zona, pero la trasladó a otra habitación; mi primera indicación de que mover asientos no parece ser gran cosa aquí. Por la noche, mientras nos arreglábamos para mantener nuestra comida y bebidas, nos dijeron que los asientos que solicité por primera vez ya estaban disponibles ya que la "reserva especial" había sido cancelada. Nos mudamos y continuamos nuestra noche. Un poco más tarde, otra pareja llegó y se sentó en el sofá en el que estábamos sentados. El gerente inmediatamente consiguió una mesa de café de otra habitación para acomodarlos mientras nos dijeron que sostuviéramos nuestra comida y bebidas cuando estábamos sentados allí. Realmente es algo ver tal diferencia en el trato; se sentía como discriminación encubierta. Y solo quería darle un mensaje a La Puertecita Azul: tratar a todos por igual.

AMAZING! I booked 'The Kitchen' for my best friends bottomless brunch for 20 people. Right from the initial reservation, I worked with Valentina through the whole process, and that was 4 months of me sending questions and making changes. Right from the start, through to the day before, Valentina was always available for a call or would respond to my emails really quickly which was so helpful when trying to coordinate 20 hens with different dietary preferences and needs. Valentina was amazing, so attentive and always willing to help to make sure we got the vision right. I cannot thank her enough for making this the best hen for my friend. At the venue, the whole team were so supportive and nothing felt like too much. It was the perfect venue. The food was lovely and in abundance and the room was perfect for our party of 20. Thanks to Valentina and the team for such an amazing day.

We had the best birthday bottomless brunch here. Even though it was quiet it as a beautiful place with so much to enjoy and look at and the food was spot on (chicken/ bacon pancakes).
