Quite possibly the best Old Fashioned, and definitely the worst nachos ever made. Down the block from my hotel, this was rated as one of the better area pubs. The football game was playing on many screens and the back bar looked well stocked...so this is the place that I chose. The service was middling at best, with only one of the three bar staff acknowledging me when I asked about seating...the rest I had to beg for attention to order, for a napkin, etc. Never offered a receipt. When I asked for one, he said sure and never came back to me...no receipt, no asking about the food, nothing about another drink. Nothing. Nada. Zip. The reason I didnt give one star: I ordered an Old Fashioned and will say it was one of the best I've had...well balanced and smooth. It was a real surprise and this drink. That being said... the nachos were singularly the worst concoction that I've ever experienced. Admittedly, I'm spoiled by living in California and the abundance of exceptional Mexican food... but these were dreadful. A miniscule amount of cheese on oversized flour tortilla chips (which should always be corn based), with large scoops of sour cream, flavorless pico de gallo, and a disappointingly bland guacamole (just smashed avocado with nothing added). Then, inexplicably was sprinkled with what I believe was paprika. It was worse than it sounds and after an entire day or not eating.. I did my best and ate the innermost part of the chips that had a touch of cheese. I gave up after barely finishing half out of sheer hunger. I whole heartedly recommend skipping the nachos and reduce your expectations regarding service.

My favourite after work local! The staff here are absolutely AMAZING especially the door staff/bouncers. I lost my handbag in here after my Christmas party and when I came back the next day someone had handed it in, and the staff had kept it safe for me with everything inside and I truly can never thank them enough 💖

Terrible Experience - Never Coming Back! I’m sorry to say this, but our experience here was awful. To make things worse, my bag was stolen inside the venue. My AirPods, which were in the bag, have been tracked moving between an apartment at night and the venue during the day. This is highly suspicious, especially since it’s the second time we’ve had something stolen here. It seems like it’s all planned. We will never return to this place!

What a cozy pub! (Highly recommended as a tourist to experience a cozy pub atmosphere). Staff was friendly, polite and on point When asked about the tastiest beer, 2 shots were served for tasting. Very wide range of draft beers and bottled beers. We came to have dinner, the food was super tasty. Very good, tasty burgers and the steak with fries was really tasty! We wanted to come again the next day (on a Saturday) but unfortunately it was already fully booked. Too bad for us Unfortunately no different. If we come back to London, we will definitely come back. Thank you 🤩

We have gone to the pub everytime we're in London. Never been disappointed with the food or service. We have their fish and chips. So good and reasonable price.

My recent experience at this establishment was deeply disappointing due to the conduct of George, the manager. It is evident that he instills a culture of dismissiveness among employees, encouraging them to reject client requests outright without consideration. His demeanor is unprofessional, characterized by condescending and patronizing interactions with patrons, which is both disheartening and unacceptable in a customer-facing role. It is surprising that an organization would tolerate such behavior, let alone retain someone who exhibits such disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly urge management to reevaluate their leadership choices and consider appointing someone who genuinely values professionalism, customer care, and fostering a positive experience for patrons. Until meaningful changes are made, I cannot recommend this business to others.

Great pub in the centre of shepherds bush perfect for the concert next door. Lovely staff and perfect location for people watching too!

Door security man was needlessly aggressive and rude this evening. If he acts like this when nobody has done anything wrong, where does he escalate to when there is an issue? We didn't stay. Update: when I wrote this review originally I also filled out the complaint form on their website. A couple of days later I got a reply saying 'How did we do?' - nobody had been in touch with me. I guess I'm not going to get an apology.

Okay, but a little too noisy and dark. Beer at £8.40 seemed expensive in plastic glasses. We did not eat so cannot comment on food.

I booked my work Christmas party here for 100 people - it was so good that we are going to book again next year! The food, drinks, atmosphere was faultless. The staff were incredible, super organised and took great care of us. The festive party menu was great value. We look forward to returning!
