I hate the bouncer here. Power tripping and rude. He turned away my friend for being drunk (she doesn’t drink) and then turned away a bunch of strangers for being ‘provocatively dressed’. Very bad experience, would give 0 stars if I could

This place was warm and cozy on a Sunday night and the drinks were enjoyable - absolutely ruined by the awful, accusatory, and outright rude behavior by the bouncer / door staff / security guy. This place would have received a better rating if not for the security.

Enjoyed a fun evening here. Came with family to watch a friend and his band play. The Blue Royals were excellent! We enjoyed their good selection of beers, great Pizza and good service. Nice one.

Olly's the best so is Amalie. Get yourselves here it's awesome try the chicken selects. 5 star.

Brilliant! Booked a table for a quick lunch before we went to the tv studios... Surprised to see police officers and security men at the entrance and then realised what was going on... What we encountered was a sea of happy folk having pre match beers! We were taken to our table and were served by a lovely chap, (long beard); we could not have negotiated the very busy bar easily... The food was superb. Hot fresh fish n chips for me, juicy burgers and tasty salads. Clean plates all round! Great vibe! We were all told we were the best looking women in town by one customer - made our day! Definitely visit again but maybe not on such a busy match day when it would be quieter - or would it?!

We had a bouncer act incredibly aggressive and invite us to step outside so he could try fight us. We had to start recording on our phones as he wasn’t wearing a body cam for our own safety. Be advised the bouncer inside is more likely to attack you then do his job

We stopped there on a Sunday evening there was almost no one there, so the atmosphere suited us perfectly and the Guinesses were served immediately. Nothing to complain about, we had a simple and pleasant time.

Rudest bouncer I've experienced in my life. I of course understand the need for security, but I've been to loads of pubs all around London and I've never experienced such hostility at the door, after handing my ID and pointing out my DOB (I don't have a UK ID, so I always do this- most bouncers find this helpful and considerate) Thought it was a me-thing, but came to read the reviews to find that this is clearly an on-going issue at this pub. pair that with a £7.50 pint and it's a recipe for me to never come here again. I'd suggest going somewhere down the road where the door staff doesn't treat you like garbage. Please train your staff to do better
