Very nice BUT, saw what should not happen when there was bounces on the door staff every where but I saw drugs being passed around or nice

Great location close to public transport. The service was good and the Guinness pie was excellent! My husband said his stake was a bit bland, but good.

A neighborhood bar, with a very nicely decorated interior. It also has a small terrace in front. Varied offer, staff OK, you can pay by card. Around 21:30, on a weekday, it was almost empty.

Tempted by the name and by closeness to our hotel, we went here for lunch. BIG MISTAKE. Most tasteless fish and chiops ever. Lousy service as we actually had to leave the table to ask for more water and again (twice) to ask for the bill. Dirty toilet and uncaring staff.

Nice pub and not touristy in this part of London. Just a few meters from the hotel but far more atmosphere here. Nice staff and even the bouncers on a Saturday were really chatty and friendly. As with all places that serve alcohol in London it is expensive and double what I would pay back home in Wales. On the positive side expensive alcohol keeps away the rowdy stag parties.

I’ve only been here once many years ago when it was a run-down crap hole and then missed the intervening years after it underwent its aggressive makeover by the footballers wives design team trained at Ikea. Having read that it was closed again last year and reopened after another extensive refurbishment in December 2022, I decided to look it up whilst visiting the nearby BBC Earth experience and I have to say I liked what they have done with the place. It certainly feels like a proper pub and has a focus on real ale that has got it into the current GBG. The extravagant carved wooden bar back with plaster cornice and the fine fibrous plasterwork ceiling that I remember continue to survive and are standout features. The ceiling on the shorter bar side has a very impressive skylight. Not sure if it was there before or added as part of the 2022 refurb, but it makes the back section nice and light and airy. The flooring is clean exposed wood throughout with a black and white tiled section just in front of the bar. The comfortable padded light brown bench seating lines the two sides of the L of the pub shape with a couple of additional high tables by the pillars in the larger long bar size. The décor is still modern with several different styles of light fittings and there is some modern artwork on the walls, but not enough or overbearing to be out of context. There are also a couple of flat screen teles on the far walls of the short and long bar section and one on the central column, which were showing the Liverpool v Man Utd game for our visit, but they were easy to ignore as they were muted in favour of a modern pop soundtrack for the majority of punters who were dining and had no interest in the football. The bar supports four ale hand pumps and a local branch CAMRA member I struck up a conversation with as he distributed the current London Drinker mag confirmed that there is a minimum of two in operation at all times and usually all four at weekends, as they were for my Sunday evening visit. Alongside the ubiquitous Sharps Doombar were Greene King Rocking Rudolf, Park Brewery Saw Pit West Coast IPA and a rare siting of Fullers London Porter on pump. On a cold winter evening it has to be the porter and it was in fine form. All in all, a very good visit for a pint. I will leave it up to others to tell you what the food is like.

First time here and won’t be out last. My husband wanted to watch the rugby and so we had drinks and chicken wings while watching the match. They were tasty and the drinks were lovely. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

Just had sunday lunch here, end of June 2022, surprisingly not great. We were starving and would have eaten anything but had to send the meal back...Bland, flavourless and with off puttingly raw meat..I'm reviewing because it's the second meal we have had there in the last couple of weeks that has looked good but...Firstly, the bar is excellent and really well stocked and the staff are always friendly and professional. Outdoor seating is comfortable and the pub is fairly ambient and nicely decorated.But, our 'roast' beef was so raw it was like it had come straight from the butchers, when it came back they seem to have grilled it so it was good and tough..whilst leaving the rest of the plate of food and gravy cold!. We also genuinely thought the cauliflower cheese was bread sauce because there was no cheese flavor? the food looked fab on the plate just absolutely no flavor, the memory of the raw meat that had been on the same plates didn't help.The cabbage was delicious.I didn't make a fuss as my daughter would have been mortified - to my mind I bought a really expensive meal to give almost entirely to their bin. If the plates are coming back to the kitchen (at the end of the meal) still full then there is something wrong. Save your money but lovely pub for a drink:)

Massively disappointing experience. My daughter, who has been a vegetarian for 14 years ordered the THIS-Isn't Chicken corn tacos but was served the monkfish tacos instead and didn't realise straightaway, so ended up unknowingly eating fish. She was horrified and extremely upset when she realised. When confronted, the waiter admitted that he had accidentally submitted the wrong order. He hadn't written any of our orders down, so no surprise that he made an error. He was apologetic and we were given the meal for free, but the manager never came to see us nor was she offered any alternative. Overall, the service was quite lazy with the wait staff also unaware what was available so my order was also wrong and couldn't be corrected because they were out of what I had originally requested. We wouldn't go there again or recommend it to anyone else. Frankly, we could have been much more difficult about the mistake they made, but we just wanted to leave as my daughter was so upset.

No puedo expresar con palabras lo pobre que fue toda la experiencia. Absolutamente espantoso. El ir y venir del camarero para ver si el chef podía prepararnos algo tan exótico como puré de papas (estaba en el menú) y cosas por el estilo era ridículo. Cada vez que le pedíamos algo, tenía que ir a ver si el chef "nos lo dejaba". No sé cómo este lugar sigue en funcionamiento.Durante mi descanso, frecuenté muchos establecimientos alrededor del área de Earl's Court. Cada uno de ellos tenía un gran servicio y una maravillosa recepción. Held my retirement celebration in the upstairs lounge of the Lillie Langtry. Had a fantastic evening with existing and past colleagues. Special thanks to Josh and Addi who looked after the bar. Charming and inviting in their approach to my guests. The food from the Nibbles menu was excellent and enjoyed by all. Josh acted above and beyond in obtaining the necessary leads to allow me to play my playlist over the speakers which I had taken a long time in compiling. Thanks also to Birute who was manager on the evening and Aniek in her assistance in the days leading up to the event. Met up with a few very old school friends and chose this pub for an extended lunch and drunk. Given it was early afternoon I was surprised how busy it was; and retained a pleasant and chatty atmosphere. The service was good and the staff helpful, retaining smiles and attentive particularly as there were a few quixotic drink requests acquired from living in various parts of the world. The menu was just right for an afternoon drinking session. I had a substantive plate of (succulent) haddock and chips and friends got into other offers. However, a TV, which seemed redundant, kicked in and the noise wrecked conversation even if you were shouting into the ear. Pity, We had to adjourn elsewhere to finish the day.

Don’t eat here, the food is horrendous. We had such a bad experience, it all arrived cold. The sharing guacamole is disgusting - how hard is it to make guacamole? Chips with the chicken arrived cold and forgot the salsa verde. Didn’t bring condiments we asked for, and wine wasn’t particularly good either. Would not recommend.

Comí aquí con mi familia el domingo por la noche. Hay un menú limitado de un domingo, pero una buena selección de cenas asadas y el típico pescado y patatas fritas. Cenamos en un ambiente muy agradable, y probé mi primera cerveza Beavertown, un "aceite para la garganta" muy potable. Excelente. Tres de nosotros compartimos dos comidas principales y quedamos muy satisfechos. Los camareros fueron excepcionalmente serviciales con consultas sobre las comidas, especialmente las necesidades dietéticas de gluten y lácteos de mis hijas.

Really enjoyed our visit here. We arrived late morning so had the breakfast menu. My son had a breakfast bap and I had the vegan one. Both were produced quickly, looked good and tasted even better. Service was quick and friendly there too. I mentioned we didn't have too much time as we had an appointment and they were happy to oblige and we had plenty of time to enjoy our food. Great location near to the station for a pit stop. Would recommend. Looks like it would be a nice place to stop for a drink in the evening too. Good decor. Also outside seating too.

I ended up going to The Lillie Langtry on Tues night as it was raining and I had arrived early to meet someone somewhere else and needed to get out of the rain, have a drink and sit down. I tried the Prince pub opposite which did not take cash and I did not find it very welcoming so tried the Lillie Langtry instead. Lovely place. The man who was working the bar was very down to earth, professional and friendly but not in your face over friendly. They had the wine I like (which The Prince had not!), I opted to sit quietly on a very comfortable sofa and had a nice glass of wine and read the paper until time to go. The pub became much busier from people who had finished work or were meeting friends for drinks but the sound did not carry and I think it would be a very good place for meeting friends as the noise was not too overpowering. They also serve food and I had a look at the menu which looks good. It was a welcoming pub, good ambience and vibe, professional and helpful barstaff. gave me back my faith in humanity as their barman had been so nice to me whereas I had felt thoroughly dejected after my visitation to The Prince! The Lillie Langtry also still takes cash which had been my main gripe at the Prince, the pub opposite who only takes card payments.

The bun on the vegan burger was black, very firm and dense bread not ideally suited to its role in encasing a distinctly mediocre (for 14 quid) bean burger, anaemic tomato and beetroot slice and a bit of leaf with good dressing but not nearly enough of it. Apart from some kind of Halloween feast with pumpkin soup, I can’t think what useful role this grim-looking dark grey bread could play. Fries had a black hair in them which I removed and continued to eat as they were the best thing about the meal. Not what you’d call a good meal, nothing like what was promised by the flowery description on the website. I was asked how my meal was by the very pleasant member of staff who served me and I didn’t mention the hair. Not a discussion I wanted to have.

Went here for a few drinks. Everyone else in the bar was very helpful and charismatic. Couldn’t have been more forthcoming. We had an incident where we left our drinks at the bar to go for a smoke. Unfortunately Elizabeth was incredibly rude as she had poured our drinks away. The rest of the staff where very apologetic to this. An easily revolved situation. I said sorry to her for causing them trouble but she was incredibly rude poured us another very badly made drink with a lot of huffing and puffing and a clear attitude.When we said thank you she just turned away and whispered under her breath with a bad look. Disappointed as I come here often but staff that are rude make us not want to come back.

This is a great pub, with the days getting warmer there is plenty of room to sit out the front before the sun goes down and if it does get cold the is a lovely beer garden out the back. Drinks are reasonably priced and they have food specials most nights.

We were returning to our car in West Brompton area after Londonmarathon and came across this pub/restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and although the burgers we all had were not on the menu as such, they were excellent. Service was very good, no complaints at all.

Staff were slow and not very attentive, they tried to overcharge us and also cut our 2 hour bottomless brunch short by 30 mins even though a member of staff told us when we first arrived it would be fine if we waited for a member of our party before we started the clock. We won’t be going back, much better places to go in London.

Mi compañero y yo habíamos acordado encontrarnos con un amigo que viajaba desde Chipre y sugirió este lugar para reunirse. Llegamos temprano y fuimos recibidos por un personal muy amable. La mesa se usaba como lo hacíamos antes, pero se organizaron rápidamente para clasificar la mesa para nosotros. Recibimos un mensaje para decir que nuestros amigos se estaban retrasando y deberíamos seguir adelante y hacer el pedido. Ambos ordenamos el pastel de carne picada y cebolla porque estaban haciendo una promoción especial de pastel. Cuando llegó el plato estaba muy bien presentado y muy caliente. La tarta era claramente casera y deliciosa! Para Postre pedimos Toffee Apple Crumble con crema pastelera y como fanáticos de los postres tienen que decir que este fue el mejor crumble que he probado en mi vida. ¡No quería que terminara! Toda la comida y el servicio fueron excepcionales y, lamentablemente, nuestros amigos no pudieron llegar a nosotros debido al cuidado de los niños, así que decidimos ir a ellos. Been coming to this pub for last 10 years have had many a good time before change and a lot since!

Myself and my partner are staying locally and on the Sunday it was late in the afternoon and we stumbled across this little gem. The food was phenomenal. I have yet to go out for a Sunday lunch and have a beef roast where it just fell apart. The staff where extremely attentive and stopped, took the time to have a good chat about the local area and the building itself.

They didn’t have proper table waiter but the bar guy was attentive and got out the food fast. Since it’s a tavern

Lillie Langtry is a place to go in any occasion needed. May it be when you just want to have a quite drink on your own or when you fancy a afternoon/evening out with your friends. Drinks are fairly priced , big selection of great wines and delicious cocktails. Food is a mix of traditional and modern - everyone will find something on that menu for their taste buds. And of course the service is very friendly, professional and also adviciful on food and drinks choice. There is outdoors seating area where sun will shine on you all afternoon. I highly recommend this place as one of the best pubs in the area.

Wow, `what a find. An old London pub tastefully decorated into the 21st century. A warm, cordial atmosphere, a great choice of beers, friendly staff with a sense of humour, great food cooked and a fab selection to choose from the menu. Located a few minutes walk from West Brompton station. Harry is very happy to recommend the Lillie Langtry.

Staying locally and this place looks attractive from The outside. Really peasant service team and good menu and the mini fish and chips and chicken ciabatta was excellent. Great chips!

Stopped in later in evening on way back to our adjacent hotel and was good choice.

Went in on a Sunday morning to enjoy a great British breakfast - but was somewhat disillusioned!

I had the flat iron steak. Cooked well, decent chips on the side. Good selecrion of beers to it down with. Service efficient and in no way pushy.... All in all quite a pleasant experience....

What a great restaurant and so convenient to the London Ibis Earls Court Hotel where we were staying. The interior of the restaurant is warm and friendly and so are the staff who we found to be excellent at all times

This was our first London meal, just down the street from our hotel. From the outside, looks nice, but had to seek out staff for service. Had beer and salad. Beer fine, salad (supposedly chicken and avocado) was swimming in bottled Caesar dressing, and was a loss. Looks better than it is.

The grilled egg plant and zucchini vegetarian platter was excellent. The steak frites was also excellent. Service was very good and we love the beer selection. Good atmosphere and nicely decorated pub. Will definitively return when in London .

Estábamos en Londres por una semana y nuestro hotel estaba cerca de este lugar. Es un gran ambiente. Servicio de bebidas era rápida, pero tomó mucho tiempo para nuestra comida, pero sobre todo era un lugar estupendo. Volvimos allí pudiera de bebidas.

Visited here late afternoon on Saturday for a few drinks and something to eat. The staff were really helpful and friendly, great service and good food. We ate in the garden at the back as it was a pretty hot afternoon & it was lovely. We found this by mistake after we’d walked out of The Prince opposite (see separate review) and were really glad we did.

We visited the Lillie Langtry as a group of 14 family and friends celebrating a graduation.
