The best restaurants in Hackney London

If you’re Asian, stay away. Overpriced, overhyped boilerplate food. Overcooked rice (basically congee) and one-dimensional dishes. You can tell this was made by two white people who visited china… Service was slow, with dishes arriving separately (veggies long before rice, long before fish) and portions were embarrassingly small, even for a small plates style joint. We left still hungry, grumpy with a considerably lighter wallet.

Superb!! Such a joy, wonderful creative food and a great wine pairing in a chilled, welcoming atmosphere. We went for Sunday lunch. Highly recommend!

This is one of the places that has a soul. The coffee and cookies are good, but that's not what makes the place special. It's the refurbished cinema seats, plants that someone cares for, a pinch of artistic chaos around and a friendly neighbourhood atmosphere that the staff makes.

Very cool club very intimate space

Muy suavemente equipo trabajando muy profesional. Increíble desayuno, preparado con cuidado y muy buena cocina. Bonito lugar, unos 20 asientos.

Este lugar ha cerrado. Un lugareño me dijo que cerró hace más de un año. Si está contento de saber de alguien es que hay otro restaurante con opciones sin GLUTEN en esta zona.

Excelllent Vegan Burger, Really suggest the Dalton, my first time with a vegan burger! If I didn’t know it was vegan I would not recognize. Excellent!!!

Tuve el mejor almuerzo de mi vida. Detrás del restaurante es el lugar para estar en la tarde para su almuerzo. Buen trabajo chicos y siempre te elegirá una y otra vez.

Comida fenomenal, servicio atento y un ambiente encantador. Los platos eran auténticos y súper sabrosos. Si quieres comida italiana increíble, cocinada perfectamente con sabores encantadores, este es el lugar. ¡Volveré!

I have been here twice with my family and each time it has been wonderful. So I booked it for a friend’s birthday. I had booked for the wrong number of people, but they kindly rejigged the tables and made room. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so kind and amenable. They even sang happy birthday for my friend! The food is wonderful, cocktails are brilliant and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Vine para una comida en Nochevieja con la familia, incluyendo un bebé de 8 meses. Servicio fantástico como siempre. La comida era preciosa y una gran elección en todo el mundo. El personal es excelente y muy amable. Recomiendo encarecidamente este encantador restaurante.

Came here quite close to closing time and Antonio very kindly still accommodated us for dinner. The food was lovely and Antonio was great company
