I'm writing this review before I even leave the restaurant. That's how good the cumin lamb ribs were.
The place is cosy, the staff are friendly, fast and proactive in offering advice on the best combinations of their small dishes (though the two I had with rice were closer to medium in size)
The only downside is that the music is maybe a touch loud, but that's a minor nitpick in what was a fantastic meal. I will be thinking about those ribs for the rest of my life.
Excelllent Vegan Burger,
Really suggest the Dalton, my first time with a vegan burger! If I didn’t know it was vegan I would not recognize.
Excellent!!!
I have been here twice with my family and each time it has been wonderful. So I booked it for a friend’s birthday. I had booked for the wrong number of people, but they kindly rejigged the tables and made room. Nothing was too much trouble. They were so kind and amenable. They even sang happy birthday for my friend! The food is wonderful, cocktails are brilliant and I cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
Always fried to perfection, generous portions that always leave you filled, fantastic customer service and perfect pricing. 10/10 when it comes to fish and chips shop for me, my favourite in London.

Sad to find out that this is permanently closed. Great music and even better food, the man who run it was so welcoming and interesting to chat with, I hope he is ok.
An artistic laid back vibe cafe with personality, welcoming to all and offering cultural networking for all tastes, in the middle of a fiercely gentrificated stoke newington.
Deserves a review even after permanently closed.
Thank you for having us!
The basic flavours of the Michael’s chicken sandwich are similar to something like a McDonald’s Mayo Chicken: a chicken fillet, mayo, lettuce and a sesame-seeded bread. But 100x better. The chicken was tender and incredibly juicy, pairing well with the crisp lettuce and pickles. A healthy amount of aioli to accompany (always needed!), and crunchy fried brioche bread - which fills you up for hours. Really great presentation too, looks as delicious as it tastes. We also shared the 1000 layer potatoes, which had a nice accompanying sauce, but were themselves a fun idea but not especially mind blowing.
Tenía el bourbon con mantequilla de maní que era excelente.
la tonga vainilla estaba bien, sabía bien pero muy sutil.
3) ¡90 por unas donas es extremadamente caro!
