The best restaurants in Westborough Southend-on-Sea East of England

This is not Italian food! , I'm unsure as to what it is. We came in here for my birthday meal and If it was my only option for a birthday meal then I'd wish to be born a leap year. We started with garlic bread and that was nice, but quickly the garlicky goodness was washed away when our mains came , the table ordered the spaghetti bologna, was a massive bowl of 92% overcook pasta Swimming in very loose tasteless sauce and a tiny amount of not great mince , A Margarita pizza which was fine But my lord the spaghetti and meatballs is a sin that I can only imagine millions of Italian nonnas cry at the sight of every time it's dished up , the sauce is very unflavoured. Pasta also overcook, and the meatballs are the worst part . Without a doubt highly processed frozen spongey meatballs that are like IKEA meatballs but made by temu. Servers are pleasant Atmosphere nice Food . Go elsewhere

This is such an underrated restaurant, come in for birthday lunch. No one was in only me and my fiancé. The staff were very friendly and the food was tasty! Quick service, large portions. Really recommend.

Amazing chicken, always cooked lovely and never dry. Large portions of chips. Knocks kfc out of the picture

I just wanted to say that the fish and chips from your takeaway were absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was crispy and flavorful. The chips were also cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I was also impressed with the friendly and efficient service I received - it made the experience all the more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to your takeaway for more fish and chips in the future. Keep up the great work!

One of the best tropical smoothies I’ve ever had and I got the beef wrap and chicken bits both were amazing taste and quickly made also the man who served us ( ismail ) is amazing and very very friendly

Specifically had to look for my google account password for this review. Firstly, the DELAY is absolutely rediculous. It took over 2 hours to deliver 3 wraps. I called and simply got a “it’s a very busy day” which unfortunately is not good enough. They should not advertise for 30min delivery when it’s more than triple that. The prices are extortionate for bad quality meat and small fillings. I do not recommend this place.

Had to wait 10 mins for latte/1 slice toast although only one customer in front of me. £5.40. In Greg's you get served very quickly, with a smile AND £2.89 for bacon roll and latte. COSTA IS DISGUSTINGLY OVERPRICED. Should not be I a hospital. Put a Greg's in. Used twice a week as daughter has 2 hourly app. Each week
