Me and 3 members of my family came here for a breakfast and it is truly a nice place to eat, there is a nice atmosphere and a wonderful smell when you enter. Our food was delicious and we definitely would come back. Even though we came from about 45 minutes away and it was worth the drive. My food was about £9.50 and it really did fill me up. Tip - if there is no parking spots at the restraint park at the pub next door. You will have to pay £2 though for parking.

Amazing ambience , good food, impeccable service and the perfect location for a day out whatever the occasion. Roydon Indian Fusion Restaurant is situated in the heart of Roydon Marina. After taking a stroll of the breathtaking Marina this is the perfect place to recharge and rest whilst dining on authentic and flavourful Indian Cuisine. The service is unmatched from valet parking (for certain events) to kind and welcoming staff. The restaurant itself boasts a large main dining space decked with a fully loaded bar and elegant artworks. There is also a light up mirror in the bathroom perfect for bathroom selfie lovers. For more exclusive dining there is a separate section that can be closed off which provides not only the perfect ambience for a night out or birthday diner, but also for corporate events. The windows have been professionally wrapped with a stained glass coating of sorts which during the day reflect light with all sorts of vibrant colours to give a mesmerising hue to the room. This allows for each of the dining and lunch experiences to be unique and carry their own flavour of ambience. Talking about flavour the food boasts plenty of that! Not only do you have your classic Indian dishes but there is also a good mix of seafood. I am not a fan of fish however the king prawns were absolutely amazing, would definitely recommend giving them a go! All in All it is a 5 star experience for dining and a day out!

One of the main reasons for the visit was due to the iconic name, made famous by the film of the same name.. of which my boys are huge fans Visited after a cold visit from Suffolk with my 2 teen boys after a cold visit to the Fort, wanting to warm up with some food. We definitely saw a local that we thought of as 'Blank'. 🤣 For a Saturday afternoon it was extremely quiet, which concerned me a bit. (Usually strikes me as not a good location if this quiet) Ordered drinks and food for 3 of us and food from a very limited menu. One thing was immediately noted... How damn cold it was in there, a fire, or should I say, hot coals, was in the fireplace but it was freezing on a winter day, even the staff were bundled up in winter coats. We sat at the back of the pub in the Samuel Pepys room where we were quickly joined by the local 'village council' having their meeting and glaring at us as we chatted! (Sorry.. pubs are for chatting) Our food arrived swiftly and to our delight and I have to say suprise, it was really tasty and of large portions... Fish was a tad on the greasy side, but was still edible. So, 10/10 for that. Overall. A welcome stop off after a visit to the Fort and yes, I would visit again.... It wasn't terrible.. but it really lacked the love and attention it dearly needs in order to attract more clients.

This place used to be great, but something has gone terribly wrong. The menus have disappeared and there is very little choice available. The staff seem to change every week and you have to wait ages for your food. Very poor.
