The best restaurants in Canvey Island East Castle Point East of England

I happened to be at a loose end in Canvey Island, saw a banner advertising Anita’s Tearoom, and went to see what it was like - it was worth the diversion along the sea wall! I had the 10 item breakfast, and it was served quickly and in a friendly fashion, and was very tasty (special recommendation for having Irish White pudding on the menu which was a very pleasant surprise) Reasonably priced and enjoyable. Certainly set me up for the day!

Went here for a nice day out with the family, staff member named i think michelle gave some snide remarks. tea was cold. wouldn’t recommend

Savor Labworth Our favourite restaurant we had a beautiful meal tonight food was delicious staff are always very helpful can’t wait to book again. A bonus watching the fireworks from Southend etc while we ate. 😃🥰

Went to celebrate with Friends for their their Son’s 18th Birthday! All the staff (especially the gentleman on the bar!) went above and beyond to make the afternoon a brilliant one. Thank you so much guys and thank you to the owner/manager who is probably one of the most welcoming and friendly Restaurant owners/managers I’ve ever met! We will 💯 be back!!

My wife and myself have just had lovely Indian meals My wife and myself we're welcomed by miz and Naz . We had 2 meat platter's excellent. Main meals of chicken Tikka jalfrezi plus mushroom Rice. Plus mushroom bhajee and garlic naan. Glass of white wine . excellent meals we Will go back to the restaurant soon . thankyou to All the team. Fluffy Essex.

Worst toastie I've ever had! Cheapest thin white bread, cheap square reformed ham. Not even buttered. The salad had slimy lettuce in it. Very disappointed.

food was great apart from the poppadoms that were stale would definitely recommend
