Absolutely Vile the poppadoms are dry taste like rubber, the The onion and Bhaji were dry the food it’s self tasted bland no taste of flavours and to top it off they send me Diet Coke and not coke

After waiting nearly 2 hours, received order, wrong items, luke warm, returned order to the shop, and now having to wait for a refund. Will never order from here again,

I dunno if this place has been taken over again , it’s not the same as used to be , last night one of the curry’s had like a drizzle of cream or something they use and tasted like gone off milk , I’ve not stopped going too the loo since last night so not happy this time at all ! I live a minute down the road, I ordered at half 10 on a Sunday night and it still took almost an hour to be delivered. Not the nicest chicken tikka starter I’ve ever had either unfortunately, the chicken has barely any char on it

Superb Takeaway with delivery available (no restaurant thus no Stars for Atmos)

Chicken was questionable. Had a strange crunchy texture. Mushrooms were either well past their best or they were cooked for about a year. Super dry and a weird texture. The tikka masala and bhuna sauces were lovely and the prawn puree was nice as was the keema naan. Rice a little too al dente.

Stale popodoms, rubbery chicken. Really wasn't a nice meal.

Chicken was very chewy and the sauce for the tikka massala was very runny .

Food was warm not hot and both curry dishes were very watery and not much flavour. Popadoms were stale. Naan bread was cold

Some of the food arrived cold and inedible, a long wait for even though live local, normally good but clearly short staffed and cannot manage a suitable work load. Missed something of my order and took over a hour to rectify, don’t normally leave reviews but worst experience in a long time and just eats attempt to resolve the situation was not acceptable.

We have been ordering from Chutney for years but first time on just eat tonight. Food delivered in less than 30 min which was good. All really nice except the onion bahjis which were burnt but luckily just eat refunded those.

First and last time using this restaurant. The food was unrecognizable, we thought we were given the wrong order. The fried chicken looked and tasted like roast potatoes. The ommlette had the texture of rubber and was unedible. The onion bhajis were cremated again unedible. We threw the lot into the bin.

Only Naans for a homemade curry and they were A***

We ordered a takeaway at 5.30 received it at 6.15 when opening containers it was wrong order .was told driver deliverd wrong one and will go and collect ours from different address I said I dident want it even tho it hadn't been opened I'm not going to eat a meal that may have been tampered with.the driver turned up with it anyway we sent her away then was waiting for fresh meal.when it came 2hrs later it was disgusting it has put me off indian food for life the couple of mouthfuls I had gave me upset tummy alnight. We won't be ordering again ever.

Awful, barely warm, both korma and masala sauces were watered down and no taste. Naan bread was like uncooked dough and no flavour. Disgusting and owners not interested when we complained. Will never use again. AVOID !!!!!

Not only was it so early but sadly the manager swore and told my partner she was out order not to take the order early and she should know her place as a woman ….. I heard this and when I confronted him he said I don’t care and put the phone down on me. I’m lost for words with the manager and fuming how he talked to my partner…..:::please be warned how we were treated , back to kuski from now on

Father's day so obviously busy but food was over an hour late and missed items off order. We have eaten our food and still not had the sides delivered so pointless waiting for side order to eat it on its own. Food was massively underwhelming. I hope its just a one off!

Food turned up 45 mins late was stone cold. When we called totally uninterested. Shame really cos my partner has used this indian for over 15 years. No more.

23/04/22 evening take away with friends. All five assorted currys where so salty that in the end we gave up and binned dinner as it had tainted everything on our plates. Our friends order from chutney on a regular basis so we called them to let them know how disgusting our currys where this is where they failed miserably by arguing the point we was trying make that the curry had been so salty that it had spoiled rest of meal .. it was left with the comment, that when we next order we have to mention this to get a discount? I like the fact that they have assumed we would order from them again, speaking for 2 of us, NO THANK YOU....

Items missing. AGAIN. Food was dry. Last time we order from here. Really disappointed.

We always championed Chutney Tandoori since the early 2000s but the last year or so, it’s not the same. We suspect the chef has changed. We gave it a break for quite some time and thought we’d give it another go tonight, as it may have been bed luck, but the rice dishes were swimming in water, the curry sauce was pretty bland, but the bread was nice at least. We left half of it. Such a shame. Used to be fab! Feel bad for writing a rubbish review, but hopefully things will be addressed and we can try again in the future, but I think we’ll shop around now when we want our Indian treat.

Waited over an hour and 10 mins no food, called them they said it was done and waiting to be collected. 45 minutes later it arrives. Food was warm, not great standard like it usually is. All in all a 2 hour wait for okish food. Won't be in a rush to order again

Ordered over £40 worth of food payed for it by card at 6pm the food only just arrived at 9.20pm phoned for it on many occasions got nothing but lies saying there busy then there driver had a crash. Eventually when the driver showed up I asked what the massive wait was he said driver phoned up and said wasn't going into work today. So full of lies. Food is stone cold probably been sitting there since it was ordered Really not happy got a little girl waiting for her dinner and she's only just eating it now that's if it's worth eating . Will never get anything from these again ever best thing they can do is shut up shop and quit. Only given 1 star because I had too disgrace of a company

We have bought from here for many years (since around 2006) and it was the best Indian takeaway we’ve ever had! But the last couple of times it’s salty, watery and not as good as it was! We’ve given it a couple of chances but it’s got better. We wonder if it’s changed hands… On the look out for a new local…

Food was poor. Dall was like water, sag panior was liquefied, apart from 1 all dishes ordered were the the same and so spice hot they were inedible. They supplied an extra free dish lamb vindaloo tasted the same as the rest of the dishes.

Will never use chutney again. I have been using for years and always recommended but not anymore. Constantly late past few times I've ordered. I'm currently still waiting for my order despite it saying its here phoned restaurant and been told its on its way surprise still no food! I placed my order at 645pm!!!!

Order without an ingredient but this was not done. Called and they said they would send out again and swap those items - this took 50 mins!! Person left eating on their own!

Best Indian take away I’ve ever had! Portions are generous, always steaming hot and delivered with a smile, which all adds to a lovely experience for us. I’m confident that if there was ever a problem, it would be sorted ASAP. But we’ve tried others and always come back to here.

Very good tasty food. Actually had forgotten about this place as there's so many Pakistani restaurants on the Island. My colleague Iqbal has lived here for 9 years and never heard of it before. I don't think they do any kind of advertising, probably content with repeat custom as the food is very very good.

I phoned to see where our food was after half an hour of waiting and was told they were very busy. They said it would be another 15 minutes and when it arrived the food was not piping hot it was lukewarm. The popadom,s were stale the chicken was dry and the naan bread was soggy and inedible, onion bhajis tasted horrible like they had been reheated several times. We threw it all away. Will not order Indian food from Just Eat again as it’s a waste of money.

I've always loved Chutney the foods always been great but the past two times I've ordered the delivery times have been a joke so late no apologies despite several phonecalls. I've been told twice my foods on its way yet I'm still waiting

Had chutneys on friday night 10th april waited quite a while but given the current situation it was ok however the food was awful the rice was crumbly and no flavour the chicken tikka dhansak was disgusting no flavour at all and chicken tasted old and rubbery the Bombay potatoes were not cooked at all , on the whole disgusting wont order again or suggest them to anyone

Always such a good, well cooked, hot, fresh tasting meal from C.T. Would recommend people out of the area try them (obviously spoiled need to pick up but worth it by far,) I always ha e to leave some for lunch the next day.. fab service as always.

Can’t review the food as we ordered and hour and a half ago and we have waited 40 mins past the expected delivery time. Called the restaurant twice and both times was told the delivery driver was on his way. The last call was made 15 mins ago. I live round the corner. WHERES MY FOOD?!

Different chef? Recent order and food was not good. Didnt taste right. There was a good amount but taste was off, due to this experience,had a Tarka Dhal and nan bread only. The dish was not as should be. Was not cooked sufficiently again taste was not right and was very, very salty. I have always had good food from here, but something has changed and it is not good. Wont be going back.

Used to be our favourite, but rubbery prawns cooked for so long they now look like snails is not the one! Keema nann had seen better days, infact I've seen more life in my own nan, who thankfully didnt eat from here as it would have been her last supper!
