Working away from home and needed some where to eat Googled this place and found it was not far from the travel lodge. Lovely place Good atmosphere Food was excellent. Mixed menu. My husband went for the burger and chips and I tried the curry. Worth having Very reasonable prices. All home made. Very well done. Thankyou. We all need patronise this pub and like wise others. Because if the new government get their way and ban smoking. This will be the end of the pubs

The staff were excellent from the moment my family party of 8 arrived. Drink and food orders taken when we was ready, did not feel rushed or ignored. Menu included all the vegan options my family required and also the children's menu was good. Was made to feel comfortable and any option was possible with the food. Looking forward to sharing a early Christmas visit there with more of my family. Thank you.

Been here a few times. Great atmosphere and selection of beers/ales. Food is generally very good and most staff are lovely and helpful... Except one, the maturer lady, who we consistently find to be quite rude or dismissive and looks like she's judging you constantly... And not just us it seems if you read the other comments on this place. A shame as she tarnishes the experience.

We have just been to what has been such an amazing experience, the food is absolutely delicious, full of flavour and freshness. The portion sizes are huge! So it's a good idea to take a group - more people more to share. The restaurant itself is much nicer than I expected. And after staying this side for 8.. years I'm sorry I hadn't tried it sooner. I will be back and add photos - I was Hangry so didn't take photos..

Not good with allergens at all! Specifically asked for no egg in the mixed veg rice - we received egg. Ordered a dish which did not have a nut allergen symbol next to it, therefore deeming it safe to eat, yet it arrived with cashews in it. All in all, won't be ordering from here again.

I had spectacular high hopes for this little restaurant on the promenade with the most beautiful setting in North Norfolk. Then I arrived… they call themselves Whitewater … I assume from the dirty waves connecting with sand that gives a slight remembrance to a whitish colour…. I had read a lot of in house things from this ‘restaurant’ through their sister partnership with the Grove…but after a few weeks of research and seeing how they are trying to make arguably a very expensive setting count … I can only come to one conclusion: Most foul coffee… wasn’t even from a proper machine……I chose a pizza… I fancied the OG.. I was extremely intrigued to know what the OG stood for but unfortunately, the waitress didn’t seem to know what I was even on about …. I asked for a soft drink … it came as a warm can of Diet Coke from a plastic glass… as I took my place at the front of what should’ve been the best view was obscured by poor steamed up glass from a kitchen built so close to customers….. after 45 minutes of asking where my pizza was it finally arrived in the absolute only state I would class as charcoal…. Burnt to a crisp… I watched no one make fresh dough… it was obviously frozen…. Absolutely no care or attention prevailed such a worthy product … quite frankly the worse pizza in North Norfolk… if only the view was as gracious as the diabolical food… told the waitress … she argued that ‘most people like the food’ … not even these owners can count on this catastrophic encounter of dreadful over cooked and underwhelming food…. If you can’t provide a proper coffee machine why on earth would you believe you could provide great food…. I’ve most certainly will not be recommending or visiting this venue anytime in the future…. This is one place to quickly scratch off the list… and quick!

popped in on Christmas Eve after enjoying the carols in the precinct which was a vibrant affair, had a pint in the village bar, vibrant and full of life and Christmas joy. then made the mistake of visiting the White Horse. The landlord was very drunk and surly to me. the regulars were, as always crowded at the bar near the entrance which always make anyone intimidated when coming in to the public bar, Mark made it clear I was not his friend, he didn't like me and told me it was my fault the pub was closing down on Christmas day as I and other villagers didn't use the pub enough. oh, the pub is open today, but will i go in... probably!
