I have said before it's expensive really but the cake and coffee are very good and the staff excelled themselves.

We had 2 slices of cake and unfortunately both were really dry and disappointing definitely past their best. The flavours were nice but far too dry.All the colleagues were really great polite, friendly & efficient.Did feel sorry for the lady struggling with the queues on her own while another lady looked on without really helping her which was a shame , she coped really well but really needed the other colleague to step up and take the pressure off. Some areas were a little tired but overall I would go back as there was a great selection of plants and varieties of pets.

Dropped into the Bluebell Tea Room for a bit of breakfast pre meeting today and have to say I was not disappointed, lovely place, welcomed with a big smile from the ladies behind the counter, ordered a coffee and a bacon sandwich, plenty more I wanted but resisted. Quick service and tasty food, grabbed a second coffee to take away for the rest of the drive, oh and also a slab of homemade Oreo brookie, but forgot to take a snap of that and it is now in my tummy. Place was busy which is always a good sign also great to see they are dog friendly. Will deffo be back soon.

Nice food but I wouldn't go back. This is just my personal opinion. The price is similar in comparison to other places that service this type of food but I felt the quality let it down. The coleslaw for example tasted like a supermarket value version, whereas other similar places saved homemade or better quality. Was a bit of a wait but nothing major.

Having visited on several occasions, my wife and I visited again yesterday to have lunch. But to our dismay, there was a sign at the entrance saying that the cafe was card only. Although we prefer to use cash, we don't have a problem using cards, but we like to have a choice. To be told we can't pay with legal tender is a big NO for us. So we drove a couple of miles down the A12 to Hall Farm for our lunch. That was £45 you lost out on. And it won't take many people like us before you have to backtrack and start taking cash again. But it will be too late for us. We won't be coming here ever again. Shame!

Nice place for lunch. Large choice of food over different menus. My friend had full English breakfast, which she enjoyed very much. I chose lasagne, which was very tasty. Very busy, glad we booked, as it was OAP Special - 2 course meal, tea - which is held last Thursday of the month. We weren't aware of this when we booked, will seriously think about it for next time.

Chose lasagne for two. Icelands (not) finest springs to mind. It was horrible. Nuked to within an inch of its life. Very small single and dry slice of garlic bread and tiny amount of dry salad. No dressing sauce when requested. Can say with total honesty that I have had much better hospital food. Shocking at £12.95 each. Worst lunch by a running mile. On a plus side, the sandwiches looked better. Two customers who will never eat at this below average cafe ever again.

A lovely little gem. Theres always a regularly changing array of handmade cakes and cheesecakes, along with good breakfast foods, sausage rolls and scones. Dog friendly. We are regulars and the staff are always so lovely and come over for a catch up, and we brought my mum in for her birthday and they gave her a free slice of cake and sang happy birthday! You don't get service like this in chain restaurants :)

We always used to use this place but on this occasion, we had cause to say, we will not be going again. As the time was 15:45 and, we were served but it was made quite clear that they closed at 16:00hrs and made to feel very uncomfortable 😣

We come here once a week or every two weeks. It is a cute space. More a cafe style to me than a tea room. Today there was a older bald gent helping as a employee with a beard and he was so helpful getting me a napkin before I had even asked and seeing if I needed anything else. The staff are always lovely. It is sometimes really difficult to get to a seat or around with a pram but we are greatful for the space and it being there. It's also yummy food and nice to see the cakes are made on site. Especially with their very small limited kitchen space. I do think the food and drinks are very pricy.

Stopped for a bacon sandwich with a friend following a great shopping experience at the garden centre itself. There were two large dogs in the small tearoom area which made the whole place smell like wet dog - not my thing at all but I do of course accept that some eateries allow dogs so it is what it is. The real let down however was the charge of over £10 for two bacon sarnies. The bread was doorstep style but only two rashers pf bacon so we could barely taste it. It was topped off with some kind of cheap ketchup which tasted overwhelmingly of vinegar. It is simply not ok to charge this much for a bacon sandwich with two rashers of bacon and awful sauce. Please think again about your prices. Will not return to the cafe. The garden centre however was very good.

Popped into cafe whilst having car washed nearby, four staff behind counter, gentleman in front of me had to ask if anyone was going to take his order at the counter. One older woman behind counter with 3 young helpers. Waste of time, ordered bacon roll from the board was told sorry no rolls forgot to order them, so settled for bacon sandwich with white bread. Ordered 2 lattes, one slice of cherry cake and a scone. Total price £15.00. Found a wonky table, then waited and waited. No table numbers so food being brought out and walked around until the customer who ordered it drew their attention. Finally bacon sandwich appeared (on brown granary bread) no sauces were on table or even offered. Other half just sat watching me eating, as no drinks arrived until after bacon sandwich finished!! Sugar lumps left out on tables a flies idea of heaven. Ugh. Latte ok when finally arrived, cake and scone just ok, nothing special other half said his cake was dry. Dogs allowed in this cafe to. Overall we will not be wasting our time and money with this place. It could actually be a good business if the right people were running it. Shame.

Had lunch here today. A 45 minute wait after ordering, for 2 ploughmans, 1 sandwich and a childrens platter - no cooking involved - merely an assembly job. Everyone else who came in after us was served first. Quiche was unavailable by 12.15. I asked for my three year old granddaughter to be served her food first but that did not happen. At £2.50 for pot of tea for one, £9.95 for the ploughmans with pre sliced bread, no coleslaw and a mean pickle serving, and £3 for a small piece of cake this was too expensive so we will not be paying another visit. Pity because this place should be relying on repeat local trade.

We met for coffee mid morning. The area was immaculately clean, fresh flowers on the tables and pleasant staff. Not many customers at that time. It seems that the café has recently changed hands. The food looked inviting and the coffee was lovely. However it is not a place to come for a cheap lunch more for a treat as the prices were terribly high for this type of business. We enjoyed it and would return one day.

popped in for a cup of tea and a snack before travelling on to Felixstowe. Sadly we were not impressed, it took ages before this pot of tea arrived and there was very little on display regarding cakes etc.eventually we had to make do with a cookie which we didn't really want. until fairly recently there was a lovely tearoom on the premises which has since been turned into an Indian Restaurant.

My car was being washed at the nearby car wash so I popped into the café for a coffee. I wasn't really hungry but immediately noticed that nachos were on the menu (I'm a sucker for nachos) so I ordered some to go with my cappuccino. They were some of the nicest I've had any where. Crisp, tasty, good serves of cheese, guacamole, salsa and a really nice salad. I really should have asked what the dressing was, it was gorgeous. Other customers please note, the café is inside the By Pass Nurseries garden centre so if you arrive at the garden centre and think you're in the wrong place, you're not. Go in, you wont regret it.

It was quiet when we visited but the staff were friendly and happy to chat. There is free car parking and good views over the water. We had a sandwich which came with chips. All tasted good though it would have been nice to have the offer of just the sandwich. Overall, I would recommend.

Some Costa coffee shops have poorly trained staff, awful hygiene standards, inexcusable bad coffee making and dirty. But Sudbury town centre Costa delivers better standards and all but one staff member can make a decent flat white.
