Enjoyed another lovely afternoon tea at something special today. We are always made to feel so welcome. The afternoon tea selection is great, and your cups of tea is always topped up. Lovely venue, comfortable, great food and drinks. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Will alway return x

What a brilliant Sunday lunch! I had the roast lamb, served with Yorkshire pudding and stuffing ball, my companion had the nut-roast (other meats and vegetarian dishes were available) We were just amazed at the selection of vegetables. There were fifteen! carrot; swede; haricot beans; green beans; cabbage; peas; courgette; red cabbage; leeks; parsnip; mashed potato; roast potato; broccoli; cauliflower; and baby corn. All cooked top perfection. Definitely going again

Fantastic lunch for the five of us today. Couldn't believe our eyes when they brought it to the table. I really good staff who were polite, helpful and chatty. Very clean and tidy surroundings. Would definately recommend.

Nice pub ! Lovely pub Paul and Rachael are really great. Good real ale and friendly atmosphere.

Although it states vegetarian friendly the choice is poor. They used to do veggie meals but I was told they was no demand for veggie meals so stopped going. You don't always want panini or prawn jacket spud!!

Such lovely welcoming staff. Didn't have a booking however accommodated us, spoilt our dog buy bringing him his own bowl of raw vegetables (his favourite) Our meals were tasty, great value and we thoroughly enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend

We went on Friday lunch time, it was freezing cold in the pub had to keep our coats on. I had fish and chips smallest piece of fish I have ever seen, wouldn’t even be as much as a small can of tuna 3 x cooked chips just awful. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t return.

Popped in for a coffee and breakfast roll…… coffee machine broke, ghost town of a cafe apart from one member of staff at a table, reading a book. So, made my order, and politely asked her where the hot water machine was. Talk about miserable and snappy. Definitely needs lessons in customer care! Found the teapots….. piled high, minging!!! Every one of them. Sausage bap arrived…… all in, not even 50p worth. Sausages cold. Absolute dump of a place and not hard to see why it was empty. And no, I didn’t clear my table.
