The best restaurants in Wollaton East and Lenton Abbey Nottingham East Midlands

Was looking forward to the gluten free sandwich but waited an overload amount of time for it to arrive. I waited a long time for my coffee too but it was a tiny cup and I finished it long before my sandwich arrived. I waited a long time for the bill too and asked for the coffee to be refunded as it didn't come with sandwich but till person said no guarantee they come together which is preposterous as most places can get this right. Waitresses nice but let down by looking wait and overpriced coffee.

Stayed at the nearby Travelodge and called in for breakfast on the Monday morning and were terribly disappointed to find it was shut. Not only that, but it did not appear to have been opened for some time.

Imma be real this place really sucks. Half the tables are reserved, the rest are stupidly high chairs, none of which have numbers on the tables.

Bad customer service at the till flat white coffee tastes as water.

I have previously given this place a 5* but the behaviour of recent delivery drivers, expecting and arguing about rounding up the bill by £5 is just throwing shame on the place. I wouldn’t recommend any longer for delivery.

Great place. Situated on beautiful Nottingham Uni campus. Food lovely, great prices. Pool table was fun!

Great for uni students, cheap drinks and great atmosphere. New landlord Jake is really friendly and overall the staff are always welcoming.

The weather here at Nottingham is very pleasant...with drizzle and cool breeze .the best thing in this weather is a hot cup of well brewed coffee. Starbucks does the magical blend of coffee .

Wasn’t sure what to expect with a hotel on a University Campus. Having last been on campus 20 years ago it was all quite a surprise The menu suits a wide range of tastes and budgets from burgers and pizza to miso cod and venison. Perhaps a little confusing regarding the identity of the restaurant. A little lacking for vegetarians. The food itself was delicious and flavoursome (with the exception of the apple and white chocolate which was overly sweet and overly green). Ambience pleasant. Reasonably priced. The staff are wonderful and Marie is a total dream of a hostess. Fun, kind and attentive. Would recommend

Sorry for the low review but I just can't let this go,part of my order was 10 onion rings, not cooked enough then I had the largest kebab with chips, chips must have been over cooked way to hard and some had no potato inside the biggest let down is the red chic meat you have never put red meat on before and it was a waste because I cannot stand the red meat and the cheese garlic bread was over done I have never received such rubbish food before from you but I'm not gonna continue to waste money on food I won't or can't eat

Quite possibly the worst donner kebab I’ve ever had , meat was cold , naan was cold and doughy Portion was small Shop is scruffy proper dump , staff speak poor English 1/10

I ain't got all day to wait for a drink. Place has declined, sad to see. Ice tea is just syrup kmt. This used to be a great establishment.

This charming café offers a beautiful view of the lake, creating a lovely and inviting atmosphere. It’s wonderfully clean and cozy, making it a delightful spot to relax. However, I believe there’s room for improvement in the food quality, as it hasn't met my expectations. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the staff could be more welcoming, as they seem to struggle during busy times. I really hope these aspects can be enhanced, as I would love to visit more regularly!
