The best restaurants in Wollaton East and Lenton Abbey Nottingham East Midlands

Anytime I go into Avocafe it always makes my day soooo much better. 9am to 5pm breakfast, brunch, lunch or afternoon meal or the best coffee in Nottingham, the best smoothies. Jordana has made this little corner just a short walk, car ride(good parking) , e-bike(lots next door) , bus (one every few minutes from the city or uni or as far as Derby as it’s on Derby Rd. There’s a wonderful art deco cinema next door and a lovely Sainsbury’s Local for all your shopping. Lovely garden with tables outside so lovely on a sunny day like today. Lots of cool students but also it’s central to the local diverse communities. My favourite changes every time I go in as the chefs (particularly Emily) make you whatever you want on the lovely nutritious menu. My favourite today is the rose matcha cold drink with sourdough toast and avocado. The best music chosen by the wonderful staff but it’s just the best vibe ever. It’s so good I’m gonna get a tattoo of their cool logo of an avocado on a bike! My favourite place in the world!

Stayed at the nearby Travelodge and called in for breakfast on the Monday morning and were terribly disappointed to find it was shut. Not only that, but it did not appear to have been opened for some time.

Visit Rose and Crown quite often nice pub staff always friendly and polite, enjoyed my lunch meal like the decor, clean very happy customer

Expensive side but that’s costa the brand the place is nice it’s in a nice environment very good for studying with other uni students staff are nice too!

I have previously given this place a 5* but the behaviour of recent delivery drivers, expecting and arguing about rounding up the bill by £5 is just throwing shame on the place. I wouldn’t recommend any longer for delivery.

Great place. Situated on beautiful Nottingham Uni campus. Food lovely, great prices. Pool table was fun!

Beautiful food and lovely staff. Ignore the idiot above and remember, people always are rude on Trip advisor, when they’ve been rude to staff. Those types of people love to rant when they’ve tried to not pay usually, and treated people in a job poorly. It says everything about them, and never a business. This cafe always goes above and beyond. I love eating here. I have been witness to some shameful humans that really shouldn’t be let out in public though in cafes. Mark sounds like one of them.

Nice pub with good beer and good staff.

The weather here at Nottingham is very pleasant...with drizzle and cool breeze .the best thing in this weather is a hot cup of well brewed coffee. Starbucks does the magical blend of coffee .

The brambly mouse is visually and taste wise fantastic. Service excellent

Sorry for the low review but I just can't let this go,part of my order was 10 onion rings, not cooked enough then I had the largest kebab with chips, chips must have been over cooked way to hard and some had no potato inside the biggest let down is the red chic meat you have never put red meat on before and it was a waste because I cannot stand the red meat and the cheese garlic bread was over done I have never received such rubbish food before from you but I'm not gonna continue to waste money on food I won't or can't eat

The food was great, really fresh and tasted great. The only thing I would mention is that it wasn't hot. Will definitely try something else from there. Delivery guy was very nice.

El café es excelente, un montón de opciones para bebidas y comida, además de un montón de opciones veganas. Buen lugar para estudiar cuando el café no está ocupado, pero puede hacer mucho ruido (y por lo tanto no es óptimo para estudiar) cuando está ocupado. El personal siempre es agradable y las ofertas veganas son siempre sabrosas, aunque un poco caro para los tamaños de porción (generalmente pequeños).

This charming café offers a beautiful view of the lake, creating a lovely and inviting atmosphere. It’s wonderfully clean and cozy, making it a delightful spot to relax. However, I believe there’s room for improvement in the food quality, as it hasn't met my expectations. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the staff could be more welcoming, as they seem to struggle during busy times. I really hope these aspects can be enhanced, as I would love to visit more regularly!
