What a brilliant revelation, we now have an absolutely superb (and national award winning!) South Asian Restaurant in Coalville! We had never visited previously and upon walking through the door we were bowled over to be greeted by our old friend Ali, who we knew from his time at the Cinnamon Tree, back in the days when it was THE place to eat. With Ali at the helm we knew things would be the best, and we were not disappointed! Although built around it's takeaway meal reputation, there is a cosy little restaurant, with great modern decor and furniture. The menu offers a great range of food and the service is friendly and efficient. But it's the cuisine which makes this place! Everything is bursting with flavour, packed with fresh ingredients and all is presented superbly. Also note that this little restaurant has recently picked up a prestigious 2024 Currylife Award, so even the expert judges agree that this place is exceptional! Well done Ali and Abdul, thanks for a great night and see you again soon!

Had a nice English breakfast with a piece of cake and a drink. Food was good and enjoyed it. I think it was well priced. Was quiet but was a Friday about midday. Nice atmosphere and soft back ground music. Clean, friendly staff, good service. Well pleased with the place

Never had a bad batch of food from Rustic Grill, we always have our food delivered and it always arrive fresh and piping hot. Everything we've had had been delicious and the portions are very generous. We wouldn't go anywhere else now for burgers, wraps and kebabs.

Really nice people, lovely ambience. Ordered an oasis breakfast, food was cooked to high standard but was ruined by by the bacon coming buried and covered in tomatoes and beans which were all mixed in to each other.

Great lunch menu and at a really reasonable cost of £13.95 for two courses. The chicken and lamb kebab with rice and salad was fab - meat tender and full of flavour. The hot coal wrap (spicy lamb) with salad and chips was really good too. Good selection of starters including fishcakes and deep fried courgettes which are just divine. Complimentary warm bread, dips and olives too. Definitely will visit again for lunch soon.

This place is good if you want a bacon butty. We needed a non dairy milk alternative and there wasn’t one. We also needed a gluten free option, either on cake or hot food but there wasn’t one. The sausage in the sausage bap looked like a cheap one. It’s sad to see cakes all packaged up in portions under the counter. It gives the impression they were made days ago. When we were there, someone popped in while he was on a bike ride. He had no cash and left with nothing. A few problems which means we might not go back for a while.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday 25th Feb as part of a large group (50+people). Now I understand that 50 people arriving at the same time is a bit of a nightmare but, as I understand it, Marco was given all of our menu choices in advance. Anyway, we arrived at 7pm and received our starter at 8.20pm. This wasn't a huge issue as we were enjoying the company of our friends, however as the night went on it meant that some had finished their meals and others hadn't even had their mains, some never got them and left. The waitresses did their best to calm the waters and generally the mood was OK despite the obvious problems. The food when it did arrive was acceptable, but I had expected slightly better than acceptable to be honest. We asked for parmesan and was told there wasnt any tonight. Some on our table didn't eat their mains as they said it was bland and left before their deserts. As I say, I get 50 people is a bit of a logistical nightmare but surely the restaurant should have been prepared for that? All in all I would advise not to visit if you're in a large group.
