We got a takeaway from here on Friday night with all the family, we had a mixture of cod, chicken and mushroom pie, chicken nuggets, sausage and chips and all of course a chip shop curry sauce! The service was good but it gets very busy very fast. After you have ordered you get a fob that buzzes once your food is ready. It is a very good idea as you can wait outside so it doesn’t get too crowded. The food was 10/10 and well priced. Highly recommend if you are wanting a chippy tea!🍟

This place looks great. On arrival we ordered drinks at the bar and were taken directly to our table. We got the menu and realized that there was almost nothing vegetarian. The more we combed through the menu, the more it seemed like we were headed for a boring meal of chips and another side, as used to be common in gastropubs selling steak in ten different ways. In the end, we found a goats cheese pizza, and it was OK to not have the honey (seems reasonable to put that on if you like it, but pizza?). My wife had a Bhudda Bowl. Compared to the meat-eaters' options, these seemed dull and unimaginative. When the food came (quite promptly) it was absolutely brilliant. So tasty with fresh ingredients and beautifully balanced flavours. Clearly, the chef here is experienced and careful. We could not fault the food. The beer was excellent; the service was excellent and the general ambience was excellent. Even a rather drunk party of 20+ in our dining area barely registered and was rarely noticeable as we were having a good time. Overall, this was a superb meal and a lovely evening. The lack of options for vegetarians was strange, but ultimately not problematic. But now that we've had the options we chose, there is, sadly, no reason to go back unless the menu changes. Even so, I'd recommend this place very strongly, especially for omnivores!

After being regulars at this pub for 2+ years and being happy with the service and food on all occasions I will never be going there again. The pub was apparently closed for a wedding but with no signage anywhere to tell the average customer this. We were met at the front door with ‘what do you want’ which quickly escalated to me being called an aggressive cow, and my 60+ father a c*#t who they then threatened to take to the car park for a fight when told they had poor customer service. I have worked in the service industry for most of my career and can not believe the way we were spoken to today. If you have any issues with this pubs service don’t dare challenge it as they are aggressive and threatening. Avoid at all costs as people like that should not be allowed to be customer facing
