Called in here Sunday lunchtime. Our daughter's local so we called out of curiosity. It was cold and dark. No atmosphere. Only two others in, until some bikers came to play snooker when they put more lights on. Asked for white wine. They only had one which was awful. Gave me a bad head. Disappointing for a village pub on Sunday lunchtime. One medium glass white wine and a gin and tonic was over £12. I believe they had a restaurant but it didn't seem busy and we did not eat

We first visited this little gem last year to watch a friend of ours in a band. We got a friendly reception from the lovely landlord and landlady. We found a table, got some drinks & were then joined by some locals who were also very welcoming! We had a great night, we chatted, laughed & enjoined the music so much we’ve been back lots since! The pizzas here are legendary, and there’s nothing nicer than a cold beer in the garden in the summer! It’s definitely one of our favourite music venues now.

Ordered take away to a local holiday park and this has to be one of the best Indians I have ever had! Everything arrived promptly and steaming hot. The dishes were extremely good value for money and so tasty! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for such a lovely meal😀

Ordered a pie to take out and they charged me 40p to heat it up, the pie was ok but I've never ever been charged for warming any food before, the pie wasn't good enough to warrant the extra charge

My partner and I have been here a few times now and unfortunately iv never left a review so here it goes...to start we both had a 3 course meal plus 1 coke each and it came to 93 pound which with the quality of the food and the excellent service it was worth every penny..I would strongly recommend the rooms which are amazing with a beautiful view or to go for a meal which never fails to impress..all in all if you live close or within travel distance id pay them a visit because you won't be disappointed..

We were so surprised when we walked into the Gate at Troway. It is like stepping back in time and so lovely! A traditional country pub that has not been turned into a Gastro pub - thank goodness. The landlord and his staff are lovely and welcoming and I would recommend giving this place a try. A bit off the beaten track but well worth a visit. As far as I know, they dont do meals.
