The best restaurants in Winthorpe Newark and Sherwood East Midlands

Our first time at this pub. We sat in the bar as there was a quiz on in the restaurant tonight. Neil ordered the Fish and chips and I had the lasagne. Portion size was good and the food was well presented. Good size salad with the lasagne and the garlic bread was lush. We both decided to try the Biscoff cheesecake and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. It was amazing. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

What a brilliant traditional pub with a welcoming atmosphere. We both had burgers and they were superb, best slaw I’ve ever had. Refreshing to see a good choice for vegetarians too. Will be returning with the whole family!

Had an amazing Sunday lunch here today. The food was really tasty, generous portions and served hot. I’m really fussy about roast dinners but the Willow Tree absolutely nailed it. Friendly, efficient staff and a pleasant atmosphere. Will be back!

Dropped in for lunch and to use the facilities. Found staff at the Starbucks considerate and welcoming, things clean and the seasonal drink I tried very nice! Also surprised to see dogs are allowed inside 🐶 so will probably return with my pup

Very fresh well prepared food , the staff in the restaurant were very welcoming and efficient. The tables were very clean as was the whole restaurant. We had the hot food , chicken pie and chips peas and gravy and cheese and onion pie chips peas and gravy , to be recommended! Lovely , you have to go , we will be returning . A big thankyou to all the hard working staff .x

Waited for nearly an hour for food, when there was hardly any people in the place! No apology for lateness! Disgusting service!
