The best restaurants in Ullesthorpe Harborough East Midlands

Genuinely one of the best Sunday roasts I have had in a very long time. Came with all the trimmings and a very generous portion. Absolutely delicious food! Wonderful service. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Staff were very attentive and the atmosphere is great.

Stayed here overnight, the room was beautiful and spotless ditto bathroom. We opted to eat in the restaurant and the food was delicious and plentiful, it’s probably the best vegetarian lasagne I’ve eaten, there was a good choice for vegetarians , my husband really enjoyed the gammon. We were both so full we couldn’t manage a pudding. The bar was really busy but we couldn’t hear a word from our room. I slept for nearly 9 hours which is rare for me. The staff were attentive but not overbearing, they are certainly an asset to the business that’s for certain. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Not worthy of another stay tbh, food was obviously of the frozen or ready cooked type, mixed grill was atrocious. Rooms were tiny with no workspace

Didn't eat here but it has a fabulous beer garden and the staff were very nice. Board games at the bar were brilliant to keep the kids amused

What a shame that they do a lovely breakfast but charge £2.25 for a slice of toast We had two breakfasts x 2 toasts a coffee and tea for £27.75 Surely toast at least one slice should be offered with a breakfast For us pensioners (just pensioners) it's an expense we will just be having a coffee or tea in future Lovely staff and meeting point but totally out of order with the toast prices Opening at 9:30 is also late for us diabetics whom need to eat and don't want two breakfast and also after the school drop off not ideal as we were waiting about for it to open Please take these as positive comments but the service is not the same and their appears to be very short staffed in The kitchen area

Best part about the meal was the Coke Zero, the staff were polite, but the food was really hard and dry, peas were hard like they have been left out a few hours, paid for the upgraded curly fries, had one and left the rest. Who doesn’t have available sauces like BBQ? Very disappointed with the food, the meat was below par, very chewy steak and somehow dry lamb, please check the dates on frozen food or train the chefs on preparing meat. This restaurant used to have an amazing reputation, not sure what’s happened, but believe it will be Gordon’s Ramsey hell kitchen soon . I traveled 25 mins for this place. Would genuinely love this place to return to its former glory.
