The best restaurants in Nevill Harborough East Midlands

Absolutely superb Sunday lunch. Large dish of seasonal veg to share betwen us, and a large portion of meat on each plate, plus roast potatoes, 2 Yorkshire puddings and a large boat of gravy. Everything was piping hot and beautifully cooked. For afters there was a large selection of home made puddings, which were offered with custard, cream or ice cream to suit. The pot of tea was really good too. All in all an excellent meal for 2 for under £35.! Will definitely return, and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes good home cooking style meals, rather than tiny portions of artistically arranged food served on ridiculously large plates! The location is quite remote though, and my Sat nav didn’t identify the right building from the postcode, so it might be better to put in Stockerston Rd Allexton instead, and look out for the sign opposite the driveway. The tea rooms aren’t open every day, but the opening hours are on their website.

Nice waiter and great food had a burger it was alright not very good meat quality but dessert made up delicious and starters was great love it defo coming back

I don't normally do reviews, but i felt this place deserved recognition. It was recommended by a large number of people on social media, I had the cod and chips, and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was Freshly cooked and generous portions. 100% recommend

Basin in bathroom loose , no hair dryer when says there would be ,shower door needs sorting ,apart from that lovely room and friendly staff beautiful place to eat and beautiful place to have lovely party 🥳 🎉 😀 😊

We went for a family meal of 6. Service was painfully slow with long wait times for food to arrive. Pizzas were tasty and very thin. One guest had lasagne it was a very small portion and really wasnt worth the money. I had a steak which was slightly over cooked to my liking but as we had waited so long decided to eat anyway. Overall ok but don't think we will hurry back

We had Sunday lunch and it was so nice, the first in ages, where the price matches the quality. Great Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes which I feel are the main event no matter what meat ha ha, cauliflower cheese was amazing, just all lovely and service was great too

Lovely little pub with friendly staff. Decent meal was had by myself and my friend after our walk. Seemed quite busy for a weekday lunch, but I suppose that speaks for itself!

What a great find! We celebrated a birthday here this past weekend and cannot recommend visiting yourself. The food, service and venue were exceptional. When we booked they knew we were celebrating a birthday and put balloons and a banner above our table especially and even provided a complimentary cake at the end. We will definitely be returning

The cafe is permanently shut and has been converted to an outside bar only used in the summer. It needs to be removed from Tripadvisor. Fortunately, they still do a nice pot of tea in the bar
