The Castle Inn in Harborough

Our family booked an area in The Castle Inn for a wake. We opted for several platters (from a very good selection), a tea and coffee station and some drinks. We were able to drop some flowers and photographs into the restaurant on the evening before the funeral and area was laid out beautifully. The food was delicious and many of us plan to return and eat at the restaurant. Ewalina was particularly helpful and professional. The setting of The Castle Inn, with the views over the countryside and lots of parking was ideal. Plus people travelling from further afield were able to stay in their rooms. We couldn't fault a thing.

Stopped by for some dins. Great menu. The wife and I both had pizza. Zaaaaa was super delish. Service was friendly and accommodating. It was a saturday night with a private event, but they squeezed us in for a table without a reservation. I can highly recommend it.

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, drawn by the variety on the menu. It offers a nice mix of Mediterranean dishes, blending Italian, Spanish, and Greek cuisine. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. However, the service could use some improvement. We ordered a second round of drinks when we placed our food order but ended up waiting a very long time. My husband had to ask if they had forgotten, and although they assured us it would be right out, the drinks only arrived after we finished our starters. In the meantime, my husband was drinking mine since his was already gone. The garden seating is pleasant, though a bit noisy due to nearby traffic. Overall, the food was fantastic, but the service could definitely be better.

Stone baked pizzas, take away availability, nice outdoor indoor seats, fairly big carpark lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Opened up early for us as it was raining heavily. Staff helpful even though they were bust getting everything ready for the days opening for customers. We had 2 loving cups of coffee while we waited for rain to stop. Very reasonably priced aswell.😀😃😄

We have now had 4 Sunday roast delivered at home. Every time the food has been fantastic. We had roast beef each time. The beef was really tender and full of flavour, the roast veg was crispy and delicious and the yorkie taste just like my mums. The only improvement on delivery would be more of that unctious gravy. Give these guys a try, Im sure you will agree the food is top shelf 👌 value for money 👍

Whole heartedly recommend the castle inn. I had a pizza and my partner had a lasagna. We both really enjoyed everything about the night. Really lovely inside and lots of seating. Just a really good experience all round and we will be back.

The staff are professional and friendly, the food is pleasant and the desserts are divine!

The food was delicious, my courses were good value for the money. My wifes not so much, with a starter of pate and toast from other restaurants it was more substantial. , the only negative was the service although it was probably where we were seated...I would go back again but would sit closer to the bar area..

Dość spokojne i przyjemne miejsce. Jedzenie dobre choć trochę kosztuje. Czasem warto dać więcej i zjeść coś dobrego. Klimat spokojny i przyjemny. Trochę lepiące stoły, przydałoby się dobrze je przetrzeć. W części w której gościliśmy nie było podjazdu na wózek dziecięcy. Kawa dobra choć bardzo mała. Kelner twierdził, że takie tutaj robią. Smak zbliżony do espresso choć zamawiana była inna.

Very nice and cosy place. Staff is most welcoming. We could choose the desired seat. Cocktails and sushi were amazing, definitely something I would have again and would recommend. I found music slightly too loud, that might be because the speaker was above our table, it might not be as loud if you sit at a different table. Place has a fireplace which I love.

Just collected my app order, veg pizza and The Castle Ultimate Meat Lovers Pizza. Got them home and the meat pizza was burnt, dry and tasted awful. Not up to your usual standard. Very disappointed. Threw it away.

The menu at Castle Inn Corby Restaurant showcased a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. It was evident that great care had been taken in selecting high-quality ingredients, resulting in beautifully presented plates bursting with flavor. The menu offered a variety of options to suit different preferences, from hearty mains to vegetarian and vegan choices.

Great place to relax with friends

Really, really good food. Had the salmon with vegetables. The salmon a bit too dry. The peas and beans were very tasteful. The potatoes yammie. The lady even made me an alcohol free cocktail, dressed up with some fruits. The restaurant breathes a nice and warm atmosphere. The views on the valley are spectacular. As desert, I had a latte. To my surprise, they have Stevia liquid as a sweetner. 👍🏻 Better than all that artificial stuff. I was looking for a good restaurant and was pleasantly surprised and happy.

Visited first time a while ago. We booked a table but it wasn't nessesary as place was almost empty. We didn't like that since we sat, impatiently - every 2 minutes, we had different waiter asking us if we already decided to order. People need time to study menu... Menu is good, lots of choice for pizza lovers. There was a highlighted paella menu on the board. We ordered calzones/ pizza. Portions are very good size. We also ordered drinks. Everything was delicious. We will definitely come back.

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at The Castle Inn, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the experience! From the moment we enquired about using The Castle Inn, the Manageress, Ewelina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A lovely semi private room was reserved for us, which was laid out perfectly for 26 guests, a singer and a small dance floor which we decorated with balloons, posters and pictures. The food was simply outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including perfectly cooked chicken, pork, fresh seafood, and delicious starters. Every bite was bursting with flavour, and the presentation was impeccable. Our waiters were attentive and personable, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our party was a success. Overall, I would highly recommend The Castle Inn for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and our party was truly memorable thanks to the team at this fantastic restaurant.

Slow service. Food was flavorless. Talked to who I assumed was the manager and told him about our experience, and he just walked off.

Place looks great on arrival but that's as good as it gets. "Barman" didnt know what a port was. Menu look impressive, especially if your a pizza fan but we went with a special and a mixed grill. Considering place was only 10% full food took well over an hour to arrive .! Special was missing veg and mixed grill was appalling. Meat had gone cold ,I assume waiting for chips to cook as they were hot. One to avoid if your looking for quality and value.

So slow, food luke warm and definitely not value for money 😑

Perfect stone baked pizza and fries, delivered with beer in under 30 mins… What’s not to love? If you’ve ever driven past and wondered what gives… that does… Fabulous!

Made a reservation for this place based on the reviews. Arrived and was warmly greeted and sat at a table next to the pizza ovens. It is such a relaxing place. Our order was taken and food arrived and was just perfect. Our pizzas were made right next to us and the chef asked if they were okay. This is truly a hidden gem. Please visit!!!!!

A hidden jewel, a truly authentic taste. Rost meats tasted succulent and moist. The tagliatelle was cooked to perfection. We shall return as I have a few other dishes I wish to try. On the day some of the ales and dark beers were not available but with such an extensive wine and top shelf choice that was not an issue.

Middle of the road experience here. Sunday roast with a family of 5. Food was good, the roasts lacked mustard/condiments on the side. The roast itself was nice, just sparse and not piping hot. It would have scored higher if the price wasn't as high (£16) Service was ok, but not good/great.

First time here. Nice clean bar and restaurant. Food was very good. However the service seemed somewhat chaotic. We waited a long time for our food and even longer for the bill. The final insult came when we were charged twice for our drinks, an error I didn't realise until we got home.

Right so first off I ordered a burger an chip from this place and it was already £23 like how does a burger come to that much when i can get more food for a cheaper price at peppes chicken in harborough. Now off to the food when it arrived an hour later than expected it tasted like soggy dog food (i know what that tastes like as im quite a specialist at eating dog food myself) lastly the guy that delivered my food was very rude and just chucked my food on the door step and he also got annoyed that i had to pay in cash... shocking service and shocking food dont order from here ever as im sure i will not be ordering from here

When we called we were told to order online to receive a 40% discount but it was not explained this was only if you have Google play! Frustrating as we don’t have it so we never got the offer after looking for ages this should of been explained better. After waiting for an hour and a half for our food we were surprised by how small the portions were, especially for the price. One of our orders was also forgotten! Tight portions, quite bland and well over priced so we will not be recommending or using them again.

Very nice Sunday lunch, with free bottle of wine, when 2 more people order the 2 course meal. Nice ambient restaurant.

First visit, lovely place, with tables nicely spread out so you're not sitting next to people you don't know. Food was really good, fresh and well presented and the staff were friendly too.

Don't like burgers. I've expected something wow for this price but it was horrible. Sushi was great, pizza too. Friendly staff, clean and cozy, but I won't order burgers ever again.

Curry seemed watery and chicken was rubbery was spicy, pizza was fab

The 2 stars are just for the food, which was quite nice. We waited for one hour before they actually brought the starters and there were barely any customers inside so not busy at all. When we asked for the deserts menu the guy said we could see them displayed right from where we were sat. It was only when we started looking at eachother that he actually took a few extra steps to bring the menus. By the time we asked for the bill there were no other customers left but us but we still spent about 15 mins waiting for them to come take payment. We eventually stood up and walked to the bar to pay, but that took another 5 minutes as our server couldn't care less about our presence

Lovely and quiet . Good food, sometimes may be undercooked . Awesome stuff 😍 Toilets little bit dirty and no hand sanitiser etc, no wifi. No play area for kids. Having said that is still a good choice in the area
