Really really good food. Lovely place. Lovely staff. Menu modern European, excellently balanced and executed.

After entering the pub walked to the bar and greeted cosy place.asked for drinks and was served quickly looked at the menu and decided as we do on steak pie when we are in the area. It came out quickly and it looked great went to tuck in and the pastry was soggy filling was poor inside was scolding maybe MW.Been to many pubs in the area and after reading reviews on this place we decided to give it a go. Wished we didn't. The of beer was great. Waitress polite but to tell a customer after complaining about the food after asking how is your meal. Which always throws a red flag to me. The reply we were given from the kitchen it's cooked. Was a first for us, Maybe we were just unlucky and with honest feedback I always try to be straight talking.

Lovely little cafe with great choice of brunch options and cake. Lots of tea and coffee options.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Both had Steak and Ale pie, meat melted in your mouth, service excellent, definitely worth another visit. The portions very generous.

Seeing as my review was removed I will try again! Stay away. I went to the so called “quiz night” and it was awful. You would have found a better atmosphere in a morgue. Hardly any there, no music, vile smell and it was dirty. I use to frequent the pub before lockdown and it was fantastic. It has apparently changed hands since and not for the better. I will definitely not be going back. The smell and filth were enough to put me off my beer let alone dreary feel to the place. Very sad to say that I will not be recommending a once lovely pub

We have been visiting the Green Dragon for many years now and we have always received great service and good food. They have recently updated their menu and the food is great quality as well as good value for money. Would highly recommend and is great for the family
