The best restaurants in Blagreaves Derby East Midlands

The lady on reception was so warm & welcoming & had the biggest smile on her face! We ordered an online takeaway, so visited to pick up our meal. Online ordering was straightforward, checkout safe & secure & waiting time for our meal was acceptable. We ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Korma, both with Pilau Rice, Garlic & Butter Naans. Good size portions, hot, flavoursome, meat tender, as was the rice. Naan breads were deliciously moist & moreish. All, great value for money! We are hoping to revisit but to eat in the restaurant as the food was so good & the staff so welcoming & friendly. There were customers with children eating in & by the laughter heard, clearly they appeared to be having a positive experirnce. We will definitely recommend this establishment to friends & family!

We came when (sadly) there had been a funeral wake . Most of the guests were still there when we got there at 6pm. It was awkward and very loud. Not what you want on a Friday after a busy week. It would have been nice to have known ? Maybe a notice somewhere??

We used to use this chippy every Friday as a treat, and the food was great. We then had some issues with food being tasteless, so we stopped going. We have been away for over a year but gave it a go again. Warm at best,fish and pea mix... no taste, and the peas were like stones. Fish was expensive and mushy. It went in the bin, and that's our last visit

Your feet stuck to the floor in the takeaway, food cooked in 5 minutes and the meatballs were like chicken nuggets. Beef curry had hardly any sauce and the egg fried rice was cold in the middle

Pizzas are nice but the price is too expensive twenty two pound just for one pizza and two pound for a dip plus three pound for delivery which came to thirty pound all together way too expensive. Not to mention the delivery driver didn’t come to the door which meant I nearly missed my order I’ve had better service from other places.

Chichen jalfrezi and lamd biryani were really good. Naans were not bad. Price is decent as well. Will definitely recommend.

It was not good! Really, $23 dollars for a hamburger, mushroom, onion, black olive, thin crust medium pizza. There wasn't hardly anything on it! It was so skimpy and the crust was more like a cracker. What a rip off! It was a home delivery before they closed and I'm definitely going to call the Derby Ks store and complain. Never again! Aso the guy asked for my address 3 times and still they were delivering to the wrong address.
