Went to the other day and everything was amazing. Shisha is on point, drinks and food are delicious and customer service was great. Defo coming back here again.

Best Fish & Chip shop in South Leicestershire. Plenty of people come from different villages to get their supper from here!

Was worried about coming here after a bad meal at their sister pub, the Dovecote, but we need not have worried.. I had a very bad Turkey meal the day before and some of our family had ordered that but what a difference. It was moist and my salmon was beautiful. A much better experience

Handy position in the centre of the village. The large cappuccino was not as large as expected but the chocolate sprinkled on top was extra special. Too early for us to eat but cakes looked good although I thought a little expensive.

Large beer garden area. Great pub and friendly staff.

Lunch was really nice, fully recommend eating here!

45 mins for a cold curry refunded but still shocking

Worst food I’ve had in such a long time and i’ve eaten in some bad places. I remember coming here a couple of years back and having an excellent meal I don’t know what’s happened since then but it was terrible. Even the rice was cooked bad I ordered a king prawn dish which had no flavour it was supposed to be spicy, but just taste like black pepper And the prawns themselves horrendous they were completely inedible. I also ordered some plain stirfried vegetables which seem to be cooked in some gloopy cornstarch sauce again with no flavour and just horrible. I had a feeling that it was going to be bad when I sat down and the disposable tablecloths looked like they had been reused many times The plates and side dishes were greasy and the cutlery looked like it had been brought from a car boot sale random knives and forks which were filthy. Also the walls and the shelves and all the decoration in there just has a layer of dust and grease very disappointing.

I'm afraid the breakfast was terrible because. My sausages was wrinkled reheated not fresh Oil too hot so egg burnt on outside No harsh brown Mushroom not peeled and raw on inside Lovely staff but not up to the expectations of money spent

I went here for breakfast. The food was lovely, the coffee delicious and the staff friendly and efficient.

Originalmente tenía la intención de ir a los chinos en el Bulls Head en Cosby, pero estaba un poco sorprendido de que estuvieran llenos toda la noche, el viernes esto fue. Como el BS está al otro lado de la carretera les dimos una llamada rápida para comprobar la disponibilidad, sin problemas. Pedimos 4 currys, pollo Naga masala, pollo acari merch, pollo biryani y un chasni tika. No hubo mucha espera, unos 25 minutos, ya que estaban ocupados. Agradable y picante, especias y temperatura, las salsas eran mucho más espesas de lo que normalmente tengo, no es un problema, mi Naga era un poco en el lado salado, me gusta la sal. El keema nan era un poco frío y empapado, no el mejor. No estoy muy seguro de lo que pasó con el vino, pedimos una botella y vino abierta con una copa llena sacada, probablemente solo un error honesto. 4 currys, 2 arroces, 2 cervezas grandes y una botella de vino, 88 libras esterlinas , sin valor devuelto, terminamos llevándonos algunas a casa. El servicio estaba bien, tenía que perseguir a alguien por la cuenta. Estaría encantado de volver, como digo 3 estrellas y media realmente.
