Great locals local, always find someone to talk to. The beer is always on top form. Having the Cosby Cantonese restaurant and takeaway is a great addition to the pub. What is there not to like.

Popped in for a pint with my son (his local). The place was heaving. Very reassuring to see. Excellent pint of Tiger by the way.

Brilliant traditional feeling pub. Decent prices, good atmosphere and a darts board to boot. Dogs and kids welcome.

Went in New Years Eve. They had a group on in the back room. The atmosphere was very good and the people were friendly

Great British Pub lovely staff. Great Beer. Attached to the pub is Catntoneese restaurant and take away. Smelled lush but didn't try it.

The Chinese inside the Bulls Head is a wonderful place to eat in, waiters are extremely helpful and like to have a good conversation with you, food comes out quick however could be brought out a bit hotter but it’s still good. Again the waiters there are very polite and professional. Definitely recommend going in on a sunday or monday, you’ll have the best waiter. ☺️

Went to the chinese in the pub, ordered takeaway, thought it was reasonable priced. But then got the food home, and quite frankly I could have gone to the local supermarket and gotten a ready meal that would have tasted better. The rice was over cooked and stodgy. The noodles tasted off, like they had been microwaved The chicken balls were tough The sweet and sour sauce did not taste like sweet and sour sauce, nor did the wandering dragon sauce, tasted and looked more like gravy. The only thing that was edible was the spring rolls which quite clearly were bought somewhere else and deep fried I would not reccomend anyone eating from here, my wife and I feel physically sick after eating that awful so called food.

The pub is great but sadly the Chinese food is nothing like it used to be. It's really gone downhill and the prices have increased massively

So, great pub..good beer and very relaxed atmosphere. Enter into the Chinese restaurant.. lovely kind attentive waitress.. then the food arrived! Very clearly bought in pre cooked food…. Totally inedible…29 quid down the the drain.. a real shame as it the tarnishes the reputation of the pub! I did complain and was honest with my opinion…the cook didn’t have the guts to come out and speak with me… message from the waitress was that the cook admitted she may have over cooked my food! More like too long in the microwave!!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN

A typical English village pub with a good choice of beers and spirits. Not a big pub but a nice outside area, under cover. It has an excellent Chinese takeaway/ restaurant attached to it.

Sunday evening drink with friends, lovely table service! We have been coming here Thursdays and Sundays for quite a few years so it’s nice to feel things are returning to “normal”.

Recently played Cosby golf course but bar was closed after our round so called in the bulls head ,nice reception and drink.

Thatchers cider was great as usual .The food from #mybrisketandribs was super tasty.

It was great to go to the pub again like we used to do pre-Covid. Very safe environment in The Bull with segregated seating using plastic dividers. Still lovely staff as usual. A nice night out.

Visited here for the first time to collect a takeaway on my husbands birthday. We had ordered online which was very easy to do and had a large choice of items on the menu at reasonable prices. The collection process is excellent and simple and the staff on collection very friendly and welcoming.Now, the food.... absolutely fantastic! Could not fault the food, great quality, good portions and well presented. We had Lemon chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls and Crispy chilli Beef amongst other items. Only one thing missing for me was Crispy Seaweed as not on the menu.As our new local Chinese we will be back for more very soon!

Realy welcoming staff who are well trained and managed to provide extra superb customer service. The range of real ales and other beers on offer here are not too bad either!!!! Keep it up guys...

Paul, Gaynor and the staff have worked miracles within such an old building to make visiting safe and pleasurable. Everything from booking in to having drinks delivered and empties cleared is top quality. I and my few friends felt safe within the enviorement and will be going back soon.

Popped in for a pre evening meal, it is very well organised we felt safe and looked after staff are very friendly I would strongly recommend, we have booked a table for a return visit.

Well organised and we felt safe, however there wasn’t that many people in, not sure if this will still be the same with more people.To be honest not sure how the business could be viable with reduce numbers, but I guess that’s the same for any business like this. Let’s hope a vaccine is found rapidly !

Great to see the team at the Bulls head putting such robust controls in place for COVID19 preparedness.Demonstrates the level of care for the staff, patrons and the village as a whole that the management has.Whole process quick, easy and safe. Fantastic pint as always. Can’t wait to return to normal, but for now the Bulls Head Cosby has demonstrated an attention to detail that should make everyone feel safe to enjoy a beer. Lovely local pub with great staff and well-kept beer. Everards licensed but always has a guest beer or two plus a HUGE selection of gins and other spirits. Winleys Chinese restaurant is always tasty, whether eating in or takeaway.

Absolutely horrible. They are very busy at the moment as they are one of the few Chinese takeaways available. My dish was packed with grated carrot for some reason? The onions had not been cooked through so were very harsh in flavour as they were pretty much raw. The sauce was thin and runny and did not coat the ingredients. Very little beef and what was in there was tough. So basically a dish full of raw onions, grated carrot, tough beef and very very watery sauce. Avoid it and wait until others are open again.

Have been using this place for a very long time due to the food being excellent. I have to pass at least 4 other Chinese takeaways to get there. Prices are competitive and the service is very good.

I've been coming there ever since I was little, the staff are all friendly and there's always good company to keep on long nights.

It's a pub with a Chinese in the back.My main issue with the food is there's too much padding out with peppers, onions and vegetables etc. We had 6 mains with 3 starters 1 rice and 1 chips. There was a lot of food, I would have much preferred to have reduced the number of extras thrown in so they can focus on the main ingredient.Service was fine but I would expect nothing else as the place was empty.Value was good, 6 of us with 2 rounds of drinks, mainly soft, £70.The place could do with a zushing up, lick of paint etc.Good value, quite tasty lose the piles of veg.

My local... What can I say... Good boozer, live music, all the top sports televised. Superb around the festive season. Job done really.

We had a few drinks in the lounge which is looking very tired due for a refit I would say. We then went on to the Chinese restaurant for a meal it was a little cramped in there but you couldn’t fault the food and service very nice

Waited over one hour to be told that the meal will be 10 minutes more very bad service

The Chinese restaurant may be a bit unusual or quirky to some being in a side room in the pub but it is more than worth a visit! The food is very tasty, service is fast and the staff are very lovely and attentive. It is also very reasonably priced. I have been so many times and will continue to give my custom!

Fabulous pub. Well managed and operated. The staff are attentive and quick. There is a large choice of beers and an even bigger choice of sprits on offer. The condition of the draft Tiger and Sunchacer is kept really well and are a delight to drink. Well done and thank you.
