The best restaurants in Welbeck Bassetlaw East Midlands

Found this by chance, friendly staff small choice of menue. Small dining room, toilet. Seating outside. Small car park few pot holes. Would recommend to others.

Visited here for a family meal on a Saturday evening and was really disappointed. Place itself is lovely with a good atmosphere and the waiting staff were friendly and polite. Drinks were okay. Then the meal, three of us had the fish and chips, batter was soggy and chips lukewarm, two of the party had the sliders which were overcooked and dry. The place was very busy so we didn’t complain and paid the bill and left. 4 stars for the service and 2 stars for the meal.

Very efficient service. Food hot. Lovely sitting outside. Dog friendly and positioned very close to the stunning lake walk.

5 lovely tasty food, we had a vegetarian meal and bangers and mash. So tasty freshly made, lovely and hot, the surroundings were calm nice music didn’t have to wait long.

Absolutely love this place, never had a bad meal. Country pub feel, staff friendly and plenty of them. The food is lovely. Reminds me of my nannas cooking. Absolutely recommend. I introduced my partner this evening and he cannot wait to go back! He had the mix grill and I had scampi and chips and the food was beautiful!

First time I've been to a Costa The last time I will ever go to one ! Scruffy place,tenner for two coffees now they want £100 because I parked in there car park while I used there services !!!!! My advice avoid Costa like the plague !!!!!

Our visit started very well, we were shown straight to our table and our drinks order was taken promptly. Shortly after our food order was taken … I had a starter but my wife decided not to … we both ordered a roast. Unfortunately, there was a significant delay in bringing the starter (liver pate) … a table near us that came in after us had their starters much earlier. To compensate, the chef increased the meat portion on the roast … a good approach, but there is only so much meat that one can eat. It would have been better to reduce the cost of the starter. It’s a shame that the service was lacking as the food was very good.
