The best restaurants in England

I've just ordered a kebab, Chicken, Doner, Shish, Chips, Salad, chilli sauce and a wrap. It was the best kebab I've had in a long time. Delivery time was less than quoted too. The food was hot, everything cooked perfect, the order was correct, which is rare from other takeaways. No complaints and no constructive criticism... 5* thank you. I tried to call them to compliment them, but the line was busy each time.

Fantastic, delicious food. Great range of quality cooked food, who adhere to dietary requirements. If anything, their delivery service, is more often than not quicker, than the stated time of expected delivery. Well prepared, not & tasty. Great staff. X

First time trying Toms chippy last week we were not disappointed absolutely lovey fish and chips, best in Wigan area I reckon, will deffo be returning

We enjoy a take away every Friday as a family and have tried loads of places but always come back to SILVER GRILL - the food is amazing and great prices - the delivery people are lovely and friendly and follow all the wearing a mask etc rules. Give it a try you won't be disappointed . Its also a restaurant but we only use the take away facility

Let’s be honest, the food is what matters, and in this case it’s beautiful. However, as a reviewer, I need to paint the whole picture. The restaurant is a small, shabby eatery with no proper bar and it’s quite run down. The toilet is directly off the dining room so not ideal. The service is good and the food is tasty and well priced, but if you’re going for a special occasion like a birthday, I’d have to recommend you go somewhere more upmarket. This was a curry place for years and they haven’t spent money on it since. I hope they do well, and I’ll continue to go, but it feels like half a job. Dining out is a treat for most of us and we want the entire experience.

Great coffee (maybe the best in Maidstone!) and friendly service. The ambience is very calming and the Momo dumplings are a must try.

Its a delight to come here, Duncan & all the staff really look after you, the shop is fully stocked of local produce. food is delicious, there have specials on each day, & its nice to get something a bit different.

Nuestra comida de aniversario fue entregada en nuestra puerta ayer por la noche a tiempo y con una cara amigable. El tofu caramelizado de inspiración vietnamita, la ensalada de zanahoria y anacardos y la tarta de queso con semillas de chía y limón eran absolutamente deliciosos. Sabroso, saludable, original y muy bien presentado. La tarta de queso fue la mejor de todas. Las porciones eran enormes, lo que significaba que podíamos recalentarnos al día siguiente y disfrutar de nuevo. Su sitio web es fácil de usar y muy informativo. Su empaque es compostable y recolectan. Julia y Tim, su comida y servicio es exquisito.

Thank you for everything you did for us today, Janet and the team at Harlequin Cafe & Catering for Brenda’s funeral. It really was a lovely buffet and plentiful. The food was fresh and lots of choice at really reasonable prices. You made the planning and preparation very easy. It was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Delicious !! Huge range of foods and drinks. Food was great!! If you want a quick bite to eat or sit down for a catch up with a friend. The girls are brilliant. Very welcoming and friendly staff.

Went to Di's Diner with my wife for breakfast. It is situated on the industrial estate in West Stockwith. Di is a lovely obliging lady and could not do enough for us. The food was well cooked, and well presented, and the premises are really spotless.

Excellent local cafe, friendly, accomodating, food brilliant, selection of specials during the week, curry lovely, would recommend this cafe for a good breakfast , and burgers too .

Deli icious catered for our charity event at Guisborough Cricket Club last night. The food was absolutely outstanding. There was a great variety of both savouries and desserts. Everyone commented on how lovely it was. Thank you, Lisa.

We went to Chef's for a full breakfast to start my brothers birthday celebrations yesterday. We got a warm welcome and chose our table. Everything was spotless. Service was quick and friendly, the mugs of tea were generous and tasted like you dream a cup of tea is going to taste. The food was piping hot, perfect portion size and down right delicious! Hubby had bacon, egg and chips, my brother and I had full fry up. His chips were crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside (had to taste quite a few to be sure!) Everything on my plate, and my brothers was devoured and I didn't leave even a drop of baked bean sauce on my plate it was so lovely! We had three full plates of food and three hot drinks and it was only £12.00! Highly recommended.

Seeking somewhere for a light lunch we came upon Capital Cafe by chance. After a friendly greeting we chose a table in the bright, clean interior, but there was also seating in a courtyard at the rear. The menu was surprisingly varied, but big on breakfasts. Between us we had three sandwiches and a hot meal, and all were wholly satisfying and enjoyable. For four of us the bill came to less than £25 including drinks, so we were well pleased with the value.
